We didn't know what to expect when entering Arky's home. Richard and Ana were awesome hosts who catered to every need. The room was complete with a large bathroom and shower (great water pressure), comfy bed, makeup mirror and table for the wife, and beautiful view of their garden. Breakfast was an amazing assortment of Chinese rice, salad, cake (both Chinese and American) and coffee. The view of the beach while eating was peaceful and calming. This place is way better than any other B&B we have experienced and for the money is completely worth it. We would definitely be back if we drive the 101 again.

Wow… what can I say. After reading alot of the reviews I hate to say it, but sometimes things don't work out. Worst B&B experience EVER. Almost makes me question whether I want to take a chance on another one. Let me say this, and I want to be fair in my review. But our stay bordered on being harassed while trying to have a quiet moment in our room. So it started out all fine and good. Was given the. 50 cent tour and then shown to our room. We moved our cases in and disappeared for a quick bite to eat. Upon our return I couldn't get the TV and sound to work, but managed to get my music bluetoothed over to the speaker. Opened up a bottle of wine for us to have on the deck. Thats when we got the first knock. Opened the door to have the owner there asking us to turn the music down. I apologized and quickly turned it down. Great off he goes. In my looking around the room to try and figure the lighting out I found some switches on the door. Thought they were not doing anything until the second knock came. Was informed that those switches turned the recirc air on in his office next door. OK, strange, but fine… don't mess with any more switches, got it. I was sitting out on the deck and couldn't hatdly hear the music so I turned the speaker towards the deck. Cool… so I thought. Thats when the third knock came. All this before 8PM by the way. I open it and here is the owner and one of the other residents. What now… they want the music turned down even further.

Arky's Bed and Breakfast is a peaceful get away on the California coast. The owners are very sweet and have a strict attention to detail. They have created an environment that allows you to forget about the troubles of life. Thank you for the great experience. I can't wait until next time! P. S. Breakfast was awesome!

Lovely home, very kind hosts with lots of amenities, and the traditional Chinese breakfast was delicious.

Pure comfort on the coast. Incredibly wonderful hosts who cooked an amazing Chinese breakfast and really made our time there truly memorable. I can't recommend this place enough. Surprisingly huge house with a pool table and so much space that you really feel like it's your own private oasis. Beach access is 40 feet away and there are a ton of seals that pop their heads out of the water to say hi. Thanks again Richard and Ana for the wonderful experience.

Great b & b ln a fabulous location on the North Coast.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for night while we were driving up the Oregon coast. The hosts are so sweet and thoughtful. They made a delicious breakfast for us, and it was a great experience being right on the water. Also this bed-and-breakfast was very clean. I would recommend it highly, and want to send my warm regards to the hosts!

Hi there! Bill Merchant and I had the great pleasure of staying one night at this delightful B&B. We rested so well this night listening to the ocean. Ana and Richard are the kindest hosts, the breakfast was amazing! The views of the ocean, and their home were absolutely beautiful! We highly recommend this sweet place if you are traveling through.

This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. Richard and Ana's welcome, their attention to detail and their AMAZING Chinese breakfast made this a one of a kind visit. I wish we could have stayed longer. Can't recommend it highly enough!

We were a little surprised at the beginning because it is a normal house and not a "hotel"… but then we got our room and it's just the "hammer", the décor top and the view is the incredible… and Chinese breakfast, very tasty! We were still walking on the beach and got to know some really nice people. If you are in the area, you must stay overnight!
For me, 5 stars for the price/performance ratio are too little … of me there are 6 stars.

Fantastic stay. Great hosts! Breakfest eas delicious and the view from their back porch was spectacular. Seals, water fowl, fish all visible from the back porch and short walt to the beach. Room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was large with excellent hot water and great water pressure from shower. Crescent City was a very easy and scenic drive as well as a 5 mile drive into Brookings OR. This is a must stay for a quick getaway or several day lay over. Book and stay with confidence that its money well spent at the B&B.

My husband and I had such a wonderful time. Arky's is a quiet, lovely place to stay. Very comfortable room. The view of the river and beyond the ocean is breathtaking. I would recommend to my friends and family.

We stayed at the house next to the main house and what a view! It was absolutely beautiful… no need to go anywhere else to relax, just step outside the back door and enjoy the view. The house was very clean and kitchen was equipped with all the essentials… perfect for our 3 nights stay. It was quiet and very peaceful. Richard and Ana (hosts) made great breakfast, thank you! We definitely plan on returning next year.

Stayed here one night and the view is amazing, the food was also good and the hosts were both very friendly. If you need a place to stay while you're in town I would highly recommend this place.

Very nice place! Beautiful views of the sea. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The gardens are wonderful, too! Fresh fruits and vegetables are available for us to pick up at any time. The best B&B ever! Would recommend to friends.

Wow what a find! This place was just incredible! Clean, spacious, with an amazing ocean view. The breakfast was the best food we had on our entire 10 day trip!
