Nope nope nope never again This location had a cockroach in the bathroom just hanging out like he rented the room for the night The entire hotel was booked up (about 30 or so rooms) only about 4 cars (including mine) where in the parking lot It is Barstow, and people in Barstow are known for drugs I believe it is safe for me to assume my neighbors were junkies on foot I did NOT feel safe I had to use a door jammer in my room just in case someone was going to break in I took all personal belongings out of my car and put them into my room because I felt that my car was going to be broken into thankfully nothing happened; but I do not enjoy going to motels where I am too worried and stressed to sleep.

I get a room then have one friend come and the manager comes knocking to my room. He thought I was dealing drugs from my room. Woulnd reccomend sleeping here.

There was trouble in the room above me. Sounded like some of the transients were fighting. Its a transient town, stay away from here if you want sleep and a clean room.

I saw some homless looking people go in and out of the rooms. Makes me wonder the territory and clients they accept.

The staff was very friendly and helpful the room was clean and tidy smelled good… big bonus. Priced right I will definitely stay again the next time I am in town.

Better than other motels in barstow but more expensive. Pay more and get better rooms.

The stardustinn in Barstow has some issues. Wifi was slow and there was no way to call office because the phone was broken.

I like I like your Justin it's very clean very reasonable prices not very loud and the bed the rooms are awesome is close to restaurants close to grocery stores it's all right there on Main Street but it has a lot of privacy and it has a swimming pool.

I stayed in this motel for a 4 weeks awaiting permanent housing at Fort Irwin. The hotel decor is a bit outdated but everything was extremely neat and clean in the rooms and on the property. Housekeeping was excellent with attention to detail. There is a lot of activity on Route 66 in Barstow however the hotel and the grounds are extremely quiet. There is not a lot of activity on the property, even when the hotel is full, and I felt safe the entire stay. The owners are extremely accommodating and they went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and that I had everything I needed to be comfortable throughout my stay. For a roadside family run hotel this is a very good place to stay.

Quiet, Safe and Clean. Very friendly staff. Free morning coffee in the office to start the day. Wifi was exceptional and fast. Best part is the price and the service you get for what you paid. Very satisfied, will be back again.

Cheap ugly indians work here. Never was greeted when I walked in office I would never recommend this place.

Edit: They were so nice I literally felt bad about leaving a bad review. It really wasn't so bad. TV worked fine, nice and quiet. The air conditioner was great too. What else? Did I mention the people who run it are angels and I'm only trying to think of pros because I felt bad? But of course, I've got to leave my original review; They were nice and all, but after I saw blood on the mattress and literally the biggest roach I've ever seen in my damn life within 10 minutes of checking in, I won't be returning. I've stayed at many cheap motels. This is the worst. Literally checking out to go to Desert inn. I've heard it's the worst but it's cheaper lol.

Owner was very friendly, but temperature outside was 119 and when I would go to work he would turn my air conditioner off so if I was lucky the room would get to 80 in five hours so I could sleep.

They give a hard time with service animals and dont honor Veterans. The owner is rude and charges extra for room says its a deposit.

It takes a level of unmitigated gall to even advertise this room! My nephew was JUST given a bath in the room purchased and after only so long of walking barefoot in the carpeted floor HIS FEET ARE BLACK! And the response from manage was "either take a refund or keep your nasty room". What the hell!?

Okay for one night of sleep. Quiet area. The bathroom were not properly cleaned. You have to bring your own shampoo and soap because the complimentary was some cheap stuff from India.

Loved the saying in the parking lot, workers were very nice, rooms were a little outdated but perfect for a quick stop.

My family and I stayed here for almost a month. Checked in and was doing the week to week lease. The room rate was a little high, but we didn't complain. We really got a studio apartment, and the managers were very nice. The Wi-Fi was a great add-on to the room, the only reason I"m not going to give it 5 stars is due to the fact there is a pool on the property, but it's not open at all, and the only other problem that I would state with the room is that there is no monthly rate for it at all. Otherwise very enjoyable stay and I would say that it's a pretty good place to stay and close to everything that you might need.

The worst place I ever was in just nasty and a hour place where u can take care of buissness n leave not worth to spend ur money on. And hope u dont catch none in a room no matter where u sit or sleep on hatet it so much we laft after a few minutes cause the air didnt even work and it was over 123 degrees outside. And did not even get a refund. Trashy hourmotel. For the less desireble folks what get picked up on streetcorners to earn a nights of stay in this place.

Best Motel in Town in my opinon. The rooms were really Clean and neat during our stay, Rates were very affordable and resonable. Area was superb quiet and safe at night with plenty of parking spots and bright lights. Excellent Customer Service and I loved having fast Wireless Internet in my room and Ice cold AC in summer 2009. Rooms were equipped with Microwave, Refrigerator and phone service. Bathrooms were also neat and spacious. Staying at this place again on my next trip for sure. And Oh, Amazing view of the desert landscape in the back with Mojave River running through it. Simply Amazing.

Best bang for the buck in Barstow! Good customer service and newly painted rooms. Ice machine is now repaired! Conviniently located right next to the highway. Some normal wear and tear still present but nothing to complain about for the price.
