Country Cozy Hotel ☺️ nice lobby. Upgraded to King Suite … Bed was very comfortable…. Hitting the pool after breakfast!

The Continental breakfast was crazy yummy with waffles and full line of breakfast foods, the beds were so comfy and the pillows were nice, VERY clean and just impressive for the price.

Was very nice and a reasonable price.

Both budget and Pet friendly, convenient location, clean room, comfortable bed and smiley staffs, happy choice!

Great place for us to stay enroute to Las Vegas from LA. Friendly helpful staff, good room and breakfast included. Restaurants and bars close by and walking distance to the famous Barstow Outlet.

Fire alarm chirped all night long, so no sleep and the staff didn’t care. Ayres are great, not this one.

It was exactly what we needed. We stopped and booked a room in person. Check-in was quick and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great. It didn’t seem very modern, but it was very nice.

Very comfortable. Good beds. Delicious breakfast. Helpful staff. We usually stay here on our way through Barstow. It is a little out of our way, but worth it.

This hotel was Godsend. We were on our way to Bakersfield from Vegas, driving at night and I had a major migraine attack. Happened to stopover at Barstow and this was the only hotel that had an availability when I called around at 1am. The gentleman in the front desk (unfortunately forgot his name thanks to me being sick) was very patient given that I had 2 kids in tow. The room was outstanding and clean. And the best thing is the checkout time is at 12nn an hour later than the other hotels we have been in. I definitely had a good rest and so did my kids!

Staff is great. Room in general and beds extremely clean which is most important item on our list. Having rack to move luggage was appreciated. Shampoo/conditioner good. AC cold which is good. Breakfast good. Wifi apparently not encrypted so did not permit some online activity on phone forcing me to use cell instead, which is unsatisfactory and less than expected.

This hotel is the best by far. I've stayed at other hotels but did not like them. I now only book this hotel when I visit family. People are nice and the breakfast is great. I was also allowed to check-in early.

Oasis in the desert Absolute luxury after a long day on the road. The entrance/foyer/reception are welcoming, cool and the decor is pleasing. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable and nothing is a problem for the staff.

Very comfortable room. You don't skimp on towels! The bathroom was huge and easy to use. Loved the two-piece shower curtain and corner guards which helped keep the floor dry, and the number of places to put toiletries. The couch and chairs were comfortable, there were plenty of plugs for the desk, the pillows were a good balance of firm and soft. The room's temperature was blissful. We were there only for a night, and arrived late and slept in so we missed the breakfast, but the experience was as good as we could have asked for. It's a shame we didn't have the option of this hotel in Utah where we had spent the previous week.

We stayed here and had a great experience. Priced below average but stay was way above average. Breakfast was awesome and the pool/spa very nice and clean. Staff was very helpful and rooms were large and clean.

Great location right next to the outlet mall & Starbucks, very spacious king suite, tub/shower was decent (adjustable head), bed was decent with good-sized squishy pillows. Better than average amenities — — we didn't get a chance to check out the indoor pool & spa but we were very grateful for the guest laundry room after a week on the road! Free fresh baked cookies in the evening, good free breakfast (the usual setup that chains have but kicked up a notch). Go to Oggi's next door for pizza and beer, you won't be sorry.

Very convenient for the Barstow outlet mall, hotel was comfortable with a good breakfast selection. Indoor pool was a nice place to cool off.

The hotel was clean, well designed and had very helpful staff at all hours (I was in and out all through the day and night and I think I met all of them). I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Barstow. As for the 4 out of 5, I almost never give a perfect score OVERALL because nobody is perfect. If I wanted to I could find a fault anywhere I go. SO for me, a 4 is the highest mark you can get in an OVERALL rating.

Room was excellent, very comfortable. The bed/mattresses and pillows were ideal. Room temp was easily controlled and A/C unit was not too loud. Everything was very clean. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent.

Hotel nice and clean — separate living room area with TV and bedroom with TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, 2 closets — one regular size and one small. Free breakfast. Couldn't get one of the TVs to work so they sent a repair person up to the room with wait time around 15 mins. Asked for extra towels received those right away as well. So had a nice, comfortable stay. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was amazing. Yes amazing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Especially Breanna, lovely girl. The King bed was super comfy and the room was very clean. We had a minor plumbing issue, maintenance fixed it within 5 minutes, and he was friendly too. The warm cookies are yummy in the lobby. Free Breakfast was great with sausage, eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy and OJ to name a few things. We had a first floor room where it seemed most people on same floor brought their pets, that didn't even bother us. Very respectful hotel. It is close to many restaurants, park your car and walk nearby. I would stay again in a heart beat.

Breakfast by the standards of American motels is just Super. Sorry, the rest of the service did not get VALUITB.

Would stop here again. Everything is clean. There's a free breakfast buffet. Pool is indoor. Thought it was heated but that wasn't the case. The kids had some fun in there. Food places are close by. Chili's is just a few steps in the front. Free juice and cookies in the lobby.

We expected more out of an Ayres hotel. It was just average, I felt like we were in an extended stay hotel level. The bed was way too firm for us, and there was a lot of noise from both outside and inside. It was super windy, and there was a ton of wind noise from the window. The chair was stained, and the carpet worn. The fridge was not cold, it was cool. We probably would stay somewhere else on our next visit.

I stayed for the 6 nights. The internet asked for reconnect with the password and the initial connection each night took longer than most of other hotels I experienced. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but they ran out of coffee 3 of the mornings and I let the employee know about it one of the mornings. I gave up on the other two mornings. Room was clean, but they should repaint and refresh the room to be competitive with other hotels in the area. The TV required for me to change the input to HDMI each time I turn it on and off. It is not likely that I would stay in this hotel again unless other hotels are not available.

Honestly, I felt at home. Everything was above and beyond my expectations. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. The only issue was the Wi-Fi at times it would kick me out (same as in my house) regardless a really grate place to stay. Very clean! The house keeper was really nice. Two thumbs up!

Friendly staff made this a good rating. The hotel was pleasant, and the room was fine, except for the noise of the adjacent room playing Spanish TV and the sounds of the trucks warming their engines early in the morning. The breakfast might have been good except for the fact that the eggs and bacon appeared to have been made several hours before.

The room was great for parents and children. The room had a separate door between the main bedroom and the living area which had a pull out sleeper couch and TVs in both areas. There were fresh-baked cookies at check-in.

A great experience. The room was great; very large and spacious and the price is awesome. I also was carrying the wedding cake top for my daughter and they gladly put it in their freezer for the night. The only thing I can say negatively is the hallway did not smell very good on the way to the room and there was only pork meat options. Other than that it was perfect. I would highly recommend for parents with an older child as it has a separate TV and pull out for privacy.

I enjoyed my 7 night stay at this hotel. First, all the employees I dealt with we're super friendly and helpful. Second, the rooms were very clean and had well sized bathrooms! Their breakfast was great and the dinner options they offered on Tuesday and Thursday was much appreciated!

Upon initial entry into Room 227, the thermostat said the ambient temperature was 80 degrees. This despite the thermostat being set on Cool and Fan Auto. I switched it to off and back to cool. Nothing happened. Eventually about 10 minutes later the cooling mechanism came on. Eventually got cool enough it could be set back to heat. (Outside temperatures in the 50s). Consistently when arriving in the room after work, the temperature in the room would be in the high 70s to low 80's. Would have to switch back to cool until the room temperature was comfortable and then back to heat. I found the internet to be slow and intermittent. The room's fridge was turned to max cool, just items were consistently barely below room. Parking has always been an issue at this location as the parking area is shared with the Chili's restaurant. This has been aggravated by installing approximately a dozen Tesla Charging Stations. During my entire stay (4 nights) I never saw more than 4 charging stations in use at any one time. Each morning I would see several military personnel in the breakfast area. Before 6 am only oatmeal and cereal were available. Since like the military personnel, like myself have to leave before 6 am, we were unable to obtain the hot breakfast supposedly available. Recommend you open the hot breakfast at 5 am to better serve your customers. Overall I was dissatisfied and will not be booking with this hotel upon my next trip to Barstow, CA.

This was my 2nd 5 day stay at the Ayres and it was a very pleasant experience. Every Tuesday and Thursday they serve a free dinner, and there's a free breakfast every morning. The room service is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Excellent! Great customer service experience from employees. Clean and safe atmosphere. Delicious and a great variety of breakfast items to choose from. Will stay at an Ayres Hotel again when needed.

The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and quiet. The Continental Breakfast is awesome. I'd stay here again!

NOTHING like I anticipated. My husband and I reserved a studio suite. We were given a room for people with disabilities, the bathroom door did not close nor did it lock. The tub drain was completely detached and the refridgerator did not work. It was no where near the $100.00 we paid for it.

Beautiful place to spend a couple of days. Clean, comfy and bright. I've stayed in most of the better hotels in Barstow and I do believe this is the best. Best breakfast and the cheerful staff can't be beat. I recommend it highly!

Nice rooms, free breakfast (I was working nights and wasn't around for it) I checked in with a group of 17 people each with their own room and check in was still quick. Beds were comfortable, rooms looked nice. Quick walk to several local restaurants, freshly baked cookies in the lobby. Nice place to stay! If my review stopped here this would get 5 stars… One big downside is the bathrooms. There's a big vent/register that leads directly to the room next door. If you're unfortunate enough to be in your bathroom at the same time as your neighbor is in theirs you get to hear all of their lovely bathroom noises. It's especially fun when you're brushing your teeth.

It was good… the rooms are small compared to the Seal Beach Ayres Hotel… seemed like too much furniture made it a little tight… hope it gets updated soon… the TV channels and picture quality was a 5… very good… everything looked clean… nice shower… and a lovely quiet nite… breakfast was good… the usual items to choose from… a good start to the day! … overall it was an Awesome Stay.

Staying at a very nice budget hotel. Extremely nice for the price. Many contractors staying here right now and although I was told the breakfast buffet starts at 6 or 7 am it looked to me like they had plenty of food already set out for early risers when I left for work Monday morning at 4:30. Very thoughtful. Friendly staff too. I would recommend this hotel.

Been here twice. Both timed it exceeded expectations particularly for the price. Rooms are nice and quiet in my experience. Breakfast was much nicer and cleaner than a Hampton (was 20% more expensive for similar local) I stayed at in another city. Real plates and silverware as opposed to styrofoam and plasticware. Pool is indoors, very nice, and has liberal hours.

This was a fantastic hotel — well above the typical 2 star hotel. When we got there the other hotels in the area were filled and this one was mostly full as well. They gave us a suite that had been set up for one of their rewards club members, and it was fantastic! They also gave my husband a very fair price. Nice, clean space.

They were extremely welcoming. We traveled with a dog and they had a little doggie bag for us. Room was comfortable and clean. Don't like the way the bathroom door opens. The auto lights don't always work right. Free breakfast was very filling.

Excellent hotel. View for one night. Hit on the freestuff Burrito for dinner) ) ) ) nakupalis′ in the pool. Swimming pool, water pure chlorine present in normal. There is a Jacuzzi. In a room all standard as well as throughout America. The breakfast was standard. Before lunch, you can endure. All in all very not bad) ) )

I stayed here for a couple of months for work and it was very nice. The rooms are nice, and clean. They have an indoor pool and spa which is nice because it can get windy. There was a breakfast every morning and the served a dinner twice a week which was good! All the staff were nice and helpful.

My husband and daughter and son in law shared a room with 2 beds for six days. The room is comfortable and clean. The beds have good quality linen with comforter. The room is spacious and nice. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast has a large selection of hot food, fruit and yogurt cups and you can make your own waffle, we like that. There is always coffee ready to serve and they keep a supply of fresh baked cookies in the lobby. In the evening they put out a tray of snacks like cheese and crackers. I found the lobby to be very comfortable to sit and read while my family slept in in the mornings. This is the second year we stayed there for a week and we will be back next year, its the best hotel in the area! Good pricing as well.

This was a nice stay. I stayed with my two teenaged sons: Our room was comfortable; our bathroom was spacious (with a nice little thing rigged in the corners of the tub to keep the floor dry). Breakfast was generous, with fresh berries, fruit salad, and coffee that actually tasted like coffee (which is more than a lot of more expensive places can say). The indoor pool was very relaxing, and the hot tub was great. What we liked best though, was the friendliness of the staff. They really made it clear that they wanted us to be satisfied.

Its ok; friendly staff, free cookies and water (? ) all the time. The pool was very nice; cool and clean but then so was the "hot" tub. The price did include a self serve dinner that was good. Breakfast was forgettable-I cannot remember it. There is a fuel station/convenience store about a block away and a Chili's just across the parking lot. There is a mall about 1/2 mile down the road.

Wonderful! Clean, spacious, kid friendly and pet friendly. Wonderful complimentary breakfast, not the cheap breads and coffee the other places offer. We had waffles, juices, sausages, eggs, cereal, fruit and much more. I traveled with 5 small children and these folks had a triple queen room! Just what we needed. Very very satisfied.
