When I come through Bakersfield I always stay at this hotel. The staff here it is so friendly I feel very safe and comfortable here.

Ok, so, after reading the reviews on this hotel I was very hesitant in staying here. This is the only hotel in the area that has a shuttle if you're having your semi tractor worked on. I did follow a reviewers recommendation to ask for the second floor overlooking the pool. When we checked in I immediately asked for extra towels, and they did send them to our room right away. As far as everything else goes, definitely not a five star hotel. But the bed is comfy (pillows are flat but that's the way I like them), the room is clean, a/c works great, we had to play with the TV changing the source to cable, breakfast is served in the restaurant from 6 to 930 (dine in only) and they have truckers discount.
the best part is the Junction & Diner lounge, my husband and I had a great time there our first night here. There are restaurants within walking distance. We are staying for 3 nights and today is our 2nd day here and so far I haven't seen anything to complain about. Since covid started, we have had a tough time time finding a hotel with amenities open, except for the Marriott in Visalia where the pool and the exercise room are open with limited occupancy.
I will definitely stay here again, whether or not our truck is in service.

We were broke down truck drivers put in hotel by our company. Our company paid us daily cash and we paid daily cash to the hotel. Instead of releasing the hold on our credit card the hotel charged our credit card. For 3 weeks now we are still fighting to get the charge reversed/corrected. We have called over 5 different times spoke to many different people and keep getting the run around. We are seriously thinking about filing fraud charges against this hotel and company. This happened in August 31, 2021 and today is Sept. 11, 2021.
