The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We only stayed one night but enjoyed the room. The breakfast options are amazing. If you stay for breakfast get there early or the made to order line will back up. I didn't rate it 5 stars because the a/c unit wasn't powerful enough to cool down the small room. It was doable for one night though.

How far do the stars go because this hotel deserves MORE than 5! Travelled from VA to OL and home and put of the five places we stayed this place was the best, hands down. Fresh, clean rooms; awesome, outgoing and friendly check in staff; and breakfast? NOT continental. Omelets made to order and a wide range of other warm AND cold options. What a wonderful place to stop and rest. Best night we had on this road trip. Will definitely stop again when going through W. Memphis!

The best hotel in West Memphis. Made to order breakfast, clean rooms, even complimentary slippers! This hotel is worth the money. I know it's a Knights Inn, and when you see that name you think this will be the worst stay of your life, but this is the best hotel in West Memphis/Memphis.

Check-in 5 Rooms 4 Breakfast 5 Safety 5 Check-in was quick, efficient and accurate. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Great water pressure amd tooth brushes in room in case you forget those. Even gave us slippers on the bed. Breakfast was the best I've had from a motel. Bagels, bread, muffins, fresh baked biscuits and gravy, sausage cooked before your eyes, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal and grits. Allan makes your omelet to your specifications and he always had everything fully stocked. He's the best part of the motel. He's always friendly, smiling and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the guests are happy. A true treasure to this motel. Seems like everywhere I looked the was a state trooper driving by or walking the lot to ensure our safety. They too were friendly and smiling. Even helped open the door to the room when my hands were full. Amazing motel that celebrates the military and the country that we are fortunate to live in. If I ever make it back to this city this is where I will stay!

We were pleasantly surprised with this Knights Inn. It was very clean and well maintained. The management was pleasant to work with and the free breakfast was made to order. I would definitely stay again. You get a lot for a good price.

Clean quite and friendly priced right need more business run like a tight ship this man would get my vote for president felt like I could leave my car unlocked if I wanted to the owner knows how to runHIS business will definitely be back.

No brainer here guys! This is one of the best home away from home experiences I've ever had. The facility is Veteran owned, and so the theme throughout the facility reflects that. It will always be my go to hotel when on business or pleasure in Memphis. Allen cooks a mean omelet and the breakfast bar is free and had enough food to help you start your day. The rooms are up to date, clean and relaxing. You come in a customer and leave a friend here. So what are you waiting for?

The staff who checked me in was great. The rooms are very small. I had to go buy cleaning supplies and clean bath tub before I got in. Had Jacuzzi tub did not work. Hotel is old needs repairs or total renovation! I called front desk so many times never answered. I will not be returning.

The staff is awesome. Don't remember the guy's name, but he wore so many hats and wore them well. Really appreciated his hard work. Also very clean, reasonably priced rooms for a 10 minute drive to downtown Memphis. A couple knocks on the place though: the rooms are very clean but have the decor of a trailer park. Also the patriotic theme at the place is so over-the-top and in your face, it's actually kind of creepy. And that's saying a whole lot for an establishment in the deep South.

Definitely not a chain but very clean, comfortable, updated, with nice amenities. Good breakfast buffet. Very good value for the price. Would definitely stay here again.

A great hotel at a great value. My family recently stayed here for two nights to attend a college game in nearby Jonesboro, AR. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the area and made several restaurant recommendations that were on point! Rooms were super clean and very quiet. The complimentary breakfast is definitely not to be missed! Waffles, pancakes, biscuit and gravy, sausage fruit, etc. Can not enough good stuff about this place!

Excellent service, great price and location. The manager was so accommating in offering us a choice of rooms due to our mobility issues. Staff was so pleasant and helpful. Very clean rooms, everything worked great and fridge and microwave were raised that avoided bending down low. Full breakfast menu was the perfect way to start our touring trips to Memphis. Will stay there again in a heartbeat and recommend it highly.

Very clean, cozy, hotel room. There were slippers laying on the bed w/ mints on them, they mouth wash and tooth brushes laying on the bathroom counter. They thought of everything. The room felt very homey. Was a great stay and will definitely stay again and again.

Wonderful stay! Too bad it was just over night. Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, slippers and chocolates on the bed. Best hotel breakfast EVER! Cooked to order eggs, fluffy pancakes and waffles, biscuits and gravy. My favorite fresh fruit, watermelon, cantaloupe and pineapple. Owner is a Marine. Wish he and his family much success!

We drove all the way from Texas to visit my son in Marion, and he could not praise this hotel enough! We were greeted personally by the owner, Mike, who is friendly, straight-forward, and down-to-earth. I felt very safe staying in his hotel! Our room was clean, and not only had the usual toiletries but also mouthwash in the bathroom and disposable slippers on each bed. The beds were very comfortable and covered in pristine white comforters, so there was no doubt they were exceptionally clean! The room was also equipped with a kitchen — full refrigerator, sink, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, etc. If someone was planning an extended stay, they would certainly feel right at home! Speaking of home, the staff was friendly, more like family. When we went to the continental breakfast that first morning, I was amazed to see the food offerings — fresh fruit, sausage, biscuits and gravy, toast, a variety of cereals, oatmeal, grits, coffee, juices, and best of all, your own personal chef — Allen, who also happens to be the manager! He would greet every guest who came in and offer them their choice of personally-prepared eggs, waffles, pancakes, or his specialty, made-to-order omelettes! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! I have stayed in some very fancy, expensive hotels and not enjoyed my experience have as much as I enjoyed staying here. I give this hotel 5 stars for the price, accommodations, and friendly staff.

2 Night Stay drove from Chicago 7/5/17: First, I booked your hotel online (2 weeks ago) only after reading several reviews and viewing pictures. 7/5/17: We drove down from Chicago to pick up my husband's son from the airport on 7/6/17, and then take him to his boarding school on 7/7/17 to gather his belongings and drive back home to Chicago with us on 7/7/17. We arrived and were greeted at the front desk by a young lady. We were given a room on the ground/main level. So far so good, we were not disappointed by the room or the offerings from slippers to mouthwash. It's nice to see the small touches of Country, America & Home! Comfy beds & pillows. 7/6/17: woke up after a good night sleep to have some breakfast… we went to the main lobby and off to the right is a small dining and cooking area . Where we were greeted and asked if we wanted an omelet or waffles… my hubby and I both had ham and cheese omelets. Very yummy! 7/7/17: final day of our stay… overall fantastic stay, awesome and very helpful staff. Another great breakfast made by our happy chef… 10 star service!

The outside is deceptive. It's very nice in the rooms, complete with enormous blankets and slippers. The help is cheerful and upbeat. The breakfast is worth 15 dollars at least. And finally, they called me within 30 minutes of leaving to tell me I had forgotten my favorite hat.

We had a great experience at this motel. The staff were friendly and professional. When my husband made a positive comment about the patriotic and military displays in the lobby, we were told the owner was a US Marine. His miltary pride really shows because this is absolutely the cleanest place we have ever stayed! The breakfast was fabulous, with freshly made eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy and sausage, plus fresh fruit and much more! We have never had a better breakfast anywhere at any price. The next time we need a room near Memphis we will definitely be returning to this Knights Inn.

Neat and lovely rooms. Employees very nice and extremely knowledgeable about where to eat and things to do. Prompt maintenance when my heater went out. Breakfast is better than expected.

If you're looking for a decent place to stay for a decent price, this is the one you should chose. We were heading west on I40 late at night and needed to get off the road. Thanks to all the positive reviews, we picked Knights Inn and we were not disappointed. Allan, the Manager, was there when we checked in and there in the morning cooking breakfast. I asked him if he had a twin! Very clean rooms and a great breakfast buffet. Go for it!

Fantastic hotel. From the outside it's like a lot of other hotels, however the management and the interior is FIVE STARS! I've stayed here multiple times and will continue to return. Each room has it's own decor and personality. The mattresses are extremely comfortable. Amenities not expected were house slippers and chocolates. Michael, the owner, personally checks each room before it's rented and everything is laid out with military preciseness (he's a retired U. S. Marine and it shows). The breakfast buffet is over and beyond the normal complimentary breakfast, and includes made to order waffles, pancakes and omelets, along with biscuits and gravy, sausages, an array of breads for toasting, and freshly cut fruits. No smoking allowed at all on the premises so you don't have to worry about smoke sneaking it's way into your room from outside or through the vents. This hidden gem is only a few short miles from downtown Memphis.

The Knights Inn West Memphis was the best hotel we stayed at on our entire trip, and is the best roadside hotel we have stayed at ever (and we have done a lot of cross country driving). I booked the hotel on the road when the kids were getting too tired to push on. It was not difficult to choose this hotel over the others after reading the ratings. Arrived at 1030pm to Allen the night manager. He was very pleasant and had a room ready for us. He let us know that he would be cooking breakfast for us in the morning. I didn't expect much given continental breakfast usually consists of fruit, cereal and pastries. Much to our shock when we walk in and find biscuits, gravy, eggs cooked to order, waffles and pancakes cooked to order and a beautiful fruit basket. Allen also has the best customer service with an upbeat attitude that is unlike most roadside hotels. The rooms look like they have recently been remodeled. Beds are super comfy especially after a long day in the car. Owner is a Marine and you can tell by the pride in ownership as well as patriotic decor. I will be planning on hitting this hotel every time I need to pass through from now on. THIS is the place you want to stay!

Don't be fooled by the name… This motel is privately owned and operated. I normally stay at the upper level hotels but gave this a try based on reviews. Users give it 5 stars for a reason. Clean rooms, SAFE and quiet. Friendly staff who makes you feel at home and like a family visitor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND without any reservations. Great made to order eggs, pancakes, and waffles, plus fresh cut fruits. Stay here you won't be disappointed.

If you ever travel to Memphis and your looking for a place to stay, this place gets two thumbs up from me. Very nice and clean rooms, beds are really comfortable, very good complimentary breakfast and prices that won't break the bank. It also happens to be owned by a US veteran. I usually do not write reviews unless they stand out and this place definitely does.

Amazing place! The staff were friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Pool was clean and warm. Room was very clean and they even left slippers, mints and toothbrushes as extras in your room. The breakfast selection was great! And the waffle man in the morning is a great way to start your day! :)

My husband and I were passing through memphis and stayed here 1 night. Really wonderful experience! Very polite and helpful staff, rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. There were even made to order eggs and warm biscuits. We will certainly return here if we head back through town.

Quick overnight stop but attendant knew me as soon as I walked in. Nice place, nice rooms. We didn't stay for breakfast as we got in late and left early. We are staying again on our way back. Recommend for sure.

This was a fantastic diamond in the rough. The area isn't much to look at, but the hotel was absolutely great. Staff were amazing. The owner greeted me by name as I walked in to the lobby to check in! Room was spacious and clean. Amenities were great. There has clearly been a lot of effort and care put in to maintenance and upkeep. Hot breakfast with eggs cooked to order. I've stayed in places costing twice as much that offered half as much! Knights Inn is located in West Memphis, but it is only about 10 or 15 minutes from downtown Memphis, TN. Next time I come through Memphis, this is where I'm staying.

Great Hotel and Great Price. I've worked in W Memphis for almost 1 year and I've stayed here that whole time. I'm a light sleeper and generally don't sleep well in hotels but no problems here. Not once in nearly 12 months have I been woken up by outside noise. NOT ONCE! They even cook eggs or make waffles for you at breakfast. They also have excellent coffee. Thanks to Mike, Alan and all the staff.

Stayed over night (7/15/15) Outstanding!. Comfortable, nice amenities, cozy. Felt like home. Breakfast was excellent. Alan and Mike you guys rock. Keep up the good work. I will definitely stay here again as long as this management team is running the place.

Within 10 min. Of being in our room we found roaches in room and bathroom; we then went to the front desk and the girl said "we don't have roaches. " We said, " why not go to the room and look. " She said she was too busy and this blood girl was extremely rude; we asked for a refund and she said she would have to speak to the owner and offered another room. We declined, but left the hotel without a refund but got the owner's name and the address of the hotel; wrote the owner a letter about our experience but a month later have never heard back! Avoid this place for your own well being! DJM.

It's not the Ritz Carlton but it is as clean. We stayed here on a road trip because it was on the route and we were tired. The price was under $70 so we didn't expect much. What we got were comfy, clean beds (nice being too! ), nice toiletries a super clean room and bathroom and window blinds to darken the room instead of curtains, which was particularly good for sleeping. Nice staff, (Alan rocks) and a stunning breakfast with real eggs cooked to order, freshly cut pineapple and fresh waffles. The coffee is so so but really, at this point, who cares? Best $70 bucks spent. Stay here. It's quite nice.

Made reservations through hotels dot com for 3 people. No queen beds like hotels dpt com said. Only had 2 towels in the room. No ice in the machine. And the room was hot when we hot here. I know it's a budget hotel but I was expecting a bit more.

They will rip u off I have never stayed here and my money was taken out my acct I called the main office and spoke with kathy she was very rude and said its nothing I can do.

A nice man from the army has bought and remodeling the place. If you have any complaints with noise or maids or question about anything he IS on it right away! Its not complete but it has potential.
