The Tavern Hotel is just wonderful. I love the modern decor, love the pops of color, but most of all the service is impeccable! Greg at the front desk went above and beyond this morning but truly everyone I've met had gone the extra mile to make us feel welcome and Luke VIP. We had a wonderful two night stay there. The staff is super friendly and helpful, a lift made life easier for a disability, the Sip and Stay package was the deal of the century, the location is perfect, the rooms were terrific, the porches were useful as I could sit out at night and read… can’t say enough good things about The Tavern Hotel. We’re going to return often!

Absolutely wonderful customer service! I will be staying here again. The room even came with wine glasses and a corkscrew. There was a white noise sound machine and plenty of soft and large towels. We are already thinking about when we will visit again.

We stayed in the queen cottage. Everything was excellent from the check in to check out. I had called ahead for a pack'n'play for the room it was in there when we arrived. We arrived earlier then check in but the wait for our room wasn't long at all. Since we booked direct with them we got a voucher for each adult for a drink at the grille & $5 off of breakfast as well. Only thing, the cottage only had 1 bathroom which is challenging for 4 adults. That would be my only critique.

Great place to relax and the food is fantastic!

Look no further this is an amazing place to stay. Where do I start? We stayed there just as things were opening up so the times were challenging but not the hotel. It is immaculately kept up, the staff anticipated our needs before we knew we needed anything and they were so hospitable. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the country and world and The Tavern Hotel is certainly one of the best. We will definitely be back!

We came up to do the Verde Rail Road Scenic tour and as a bonus enjoyed the downtown area with their shopping and restaurants during Thunder Valley Rally all with in walking distance of the Hotel for our 10 anniversary. The Hotel is fairly new the room was clean and fresh, nice balcony. They just needed better lighting in the sink area. Loved it Harley's Davidson Motorcycles everywhere, we made some new friends.

Hands down best place to stay in the Cottonwood / Verde Valley area. Clean, stylish, and super convenient — walking distance from multiple restaurants and wine tasting rooms. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm up North.

The Tavern Hotel is a great place to stay if you are looking to be right on main street next to 4 wine tastings. There is a restaurant at the hotel that gave great service and had really good food as well. The room looked as it had been remodeled and was very modern. I would definitely recommend giving this hotel a stay if you want to be close to the restaurants bars and stores.

Awesome hotel in Cottonwood! Stayed at the Dog House with our pup, and loved it! The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the location is perfect! Walking distance from all the best wineries, bars and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

This hotel is so clean, beautiful, and comfortable to stay in. The sip and stay package really makes it worthwhile! Check-in time is rather late (4PM), which may rush the tastings a bit when redeeming the free tasting voucher, but overall, very well worth it. Sip and Stay gives a 1 ounce pour at 3 tasting rooms, free welcome drinks, a $50 gift card that can be used at Nic's, La Crema, or the Tavern Grille in Cottonwood, or The Haunted Hamburger or Grapes in Jerome. There is also a free continental breakfast which can be converted to $5 off at La Crema. Great hotel!

Wonderful place to stay in Cottonwood… a real gem. Decor is exceptional and their packages are great with drinks and food included.

We were visiting in Sedona and found this hotel on Trip Advisor. I can’t begin to tell you how much we LOVED this hotel. Trish was awesome at the front desk and we were given passes for free cocktails that evening at the nearby restaurant and $5 off breakfast for the next morning. If you do anything else, go eat breakfast and sit on the patio, you won’t be disappointed! The decorations were amazing, the beds were comfy and the staff was great!

What a beautiful clean room with great service. And we just ate rib eye crab legs and Creambuela at Nick's; I am soooo full! Yes, I highly recommend both!

We've stayed here a few times. Before the latest addition was open, it was a nice little hotel. Now that they've opened the whole right side, it's at a new level. The grill is nice too, but the best part is how many other great restaurants are close by to walk to. Stay here in Cottonwood for less, then drive to surrounding places in under 30 minutes.

The tavern in was a well appointed beautiful boutique type hotel. It was centrally located in old cottonwood. Very convenient to the town of Jerome Clark Dale and all the Old Town was half a block with in walking distance. We had a king sized bed which was comfortable. The shower was immaculate. The towels were large. We stayed there for the "Sip and Stay" package which made the 2 days there very affordable and lots of fun with wine tasting and meal credits.

These are by far the most beautiful hotel rooms in Cottonwood! Tastefully decorated, high quality amenities, clean and comfortable. I especially love the small patio attached to my room. We did the Sip and Stay package — best bang for your buck of places to stay in town. We will be staying here every time we visit, if available!

We have stayed in the traditional rooms they have in the past few years and the Penthouse suite recently. The class of this hotel rivals anything high end in Sedona or Scottsdale. We have stayed in 5 star places and it's quite surprising that a small town like Cottonwood has such a reasonably priced hotel that is pretty opulent. SO much to do within a 5 minute walk and if a person wants to drive its endless. There are wine tasting rooms and wineries in Cottonwood as well as nearby Sedona, Jerome and closeby Clarkdale. There is a beautiful Lobby now and many outdoor fireplaces. It's a great getaway.

We started staying here 4 years ago. It was a small boutique hotel that was well decorated, quaint and clean. This past weekend we had the pleasure of staying in their new rooms in their new building. Everything from the reception while checking in to the cement tiles on the floor was exceptional! Love the balconies with the yellow Adirondack chairs. We enjoyed bubbles by the fire downstairs with the rest of our group. Old Town has changed so much since the first time we stayed here. Great tastings rooms and restaurants. I lost my bracelet while I was there. We called to see if anyone turned it in and Gregory was so courteous while he found it and assured me he would send it out right away. I had it back 2 days later. We appreciate the fantastic service, Gregory and look forward to coming back!

This hotel is extremely clean, very up to date with decor and colors within the room and bathroom, beautful layout. Staff has wonderful customer service. Upon check in we were handed our free breakfast vouchers and 2 free drink vouchers that we redeemed at the tavern grille. The food at their restaurant was amazing and service was equally good. All around a wonderful experience, we will definitely be back!

Stayed in the new portion of the hotel with the 2nd floor balcony over the new year holiday. Comfortable bed, spacious room and great customer service. Definitely a plus with staying in Old Town Cottonwood!

We stayed at the Tavern and Grille. The noise in the room was only quieted by the noise in the hall! When drunk patrons returned from a night on the town there is no one to handle the situation! The building is an echo chamber!

Beautiful place. Room was wonderful. Tastefully decorated. Couple (my) issues. Bed frame hurt my leg in/out of bed. Sink/counter to tall for me. No one answered when trying to get a wake up call. Fantastic drinks at Grill.

A perfect little spot if you want to get away. A beautiful little suite, although there's a funky smell in the lobby.

This hotel is very nice. We stayed on a Sip and Stay package and had a great time in Old Town Cottonwood visiting the various wineries and having dinner. We were on our way to do the Verde Canyon Railroad tour and thought we would stay the night. We were very pleasantly surprised at what the town had to offer and the great experience we had at the hotel.

Our room was clean very nicely appointed however it was not large. The hotel was very nice and the employees were great. We were very surprised that it waw so nice. Like a keen in the desert.

Stayed one night while wine tasting in Cottonwood/Jerome. The Sip and Stay package is unbeatable for the price, and I highly recommend it! The rooms were very swanky and clean, and stocked with everything we needed, and forgot to bring. The hotel is close to basically everything in Old Town Cottonwood, and you can get to all the sights within a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend this for weekend (or even weekday) get away.
