The room was clean. Some stains on one of the bedspreads. The "pass through door to next room" not well insulated. Shower nice, though a bit more pressure would have been nice. Bed comfortable. Very much enjoyed to pool. I was surprised that there was only soap provided. Never stayed before anywhere that didn't have shampoo also. Staff very nice and friendly. Location good and was very happy to have the restaurant right next door.

Driving through town for work late and needed to rest Fairly clean place to sleep. Customer service was average. Price seemed high for motel 6 and no shampoo in rooms. Lots of sketchy people and activity in parking lot. Wouldn't stay with my family. Didn't sleep too sound as I felt I had to keep an ear out for the alarm on my service truck. Next time in town I will spend a few dollars more on a place more secure feeling. For the same price I stayed in much better motels.

Very polite and friendly staff, location is great close to restaurant and stores etc. Price was good even for last minute booking (trip). The rooms needs more cleanliness, towel and sheets had black stains. It lacked cleanliness for that reason I gave them a 2 star. I have stayed here previously and it was always clean.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable, cool, and quiet. The front desk clerk, was so polite, but professional. He made sure we were comfortable, even when I asked for special accommodations for my husband, he readily worked on it for us, without hesitation. We would definitely stay at Motel 6, again in the future and would refer to others staying in Prescott.

Clean and neat accommodations. The issue is the people hanging out outside their rooms smoking, drinking and making noise. I understand is a low budget motel and therefore attracts a certain type of clientele. In my case traveling alone was fine but I will never take my family.

Awesome place to rest your head. Grover the gentleman that the front desk has excellent customer service! Provide me with all detail and correct information and made sure my stay was comfortable as possible. Grover your boss needs to give you a promotion. Best Motel 6 I’ve stayed out ever, thank you Prescott and Grover and Motel 6 for your hospitality.

We stayed at the Prescott location on Sheldon. It was a lovely stay. Roseanne at the front desk was delightful. Our housekeeper, Ruhama was also was very friendly and helpful! Overall the staff did a wonderful job and we would most definitely stay there again. The rooms were clean the pool was great and everybody was very friendly. Good job!

Convenient location and amazingly friendly staff. Frederico at the front desk was very pleasant and eager to answer questions regarding restaurants, taxis and pizza delivery. Housekeeping staff was extremely pleasant also — — always smiling and asking if everything was ok. Disappointed that floor appeared to not have been mopped; water pressure was pretty poor and sink drained very slowly. Other than that, everything was up to expectations.

This is a letter I have sent to Corporate. do not rent here. I just attempted to get two rooms at your Prescott Arizona location. I went online first to make sure of the price, 55.99. I then called the motel6 to make sure the rooms are available, and to make sure of the price. The clerk (Gonzo clerks name) on the phone quoted me what was mentioned above (55.99 per night) When I got to the hotel. The Desk clerk Gonzo wanted to charge me 220.00 for a two bed and 109.00 for a one bed. Yes I rudely declined left the property. Now I'm here contacting you. The Clerk also wanted to charge me a 30.00 dollar pet deposit. Gonzo the Clerk said the price on rooms goes up Ten bucks. For every ten room's that are rented out. I have never heard of this before with any motel. Last but not least I have been a customer of motel6 for years. If what this clerk said is true, I will never go to your motels again.

The staff at this Motel 6 location were amazingly kind and helpful! This was consistent throughout our stay and with all the staff we encountered. The rooms were clean and comfortable. And, again, we were taken care of with great attention and kindness. Thanks so much for everything, it was a total pleasure!

The room was clean and nice. The only draw back is the queen bed. Should have put a king bed. Plus The queen mattress pad never stayed in place. Needed to adjust it every few hours, you Needed a better quality mattress pad and some foot rugs around the bed and area rug in main living room. A king bed and high quality mattress pad would be great, All in all average stay.

The Manager was extremely helpful and nice and on arrival she took care of a booking issue that an employee made a few days prior that changed the rate from when I booked it in February just trying to add a refrigerator. The real issue with this property is how clean it is not! From the outside lot, to the pool, the walkways and the room, well that is what really bothered us. There was beer cans left in the trash under the sink, and the only thing clean in the room was the sink, toilet and shower. The floor was in very poor shape, never took our shoes off. The furniture had so much dust/dirt on it as well as the refrigerator, which didn't work, that the first thing we had to do was wipe everything down. It was obvious that it had not been done in months. The bed cover had a multitude of stains all over it, and the blanket was not that much better. I removed both, never used them. You could tell by housekeeping still cleaning rooms at 5 pm each day we were there that they are short staffed in that area. Prescott has an extremely high hotel rate as it is, and Motel 6 is in line with it. But I have stayed at other properties for a 1/3 of the price that had excellent housekeeping and property cleanliness, so I would think that this Prescott location with the highest rate would at the very least be clean.

One outlet in the entire room. Uncomfortable chairs. No lounging or relaxing here. Just a bed for the night.

The room is small. One of the beds was pushed up against the heater/ac unit which is not safe. We found a used bath towel hanging in the bathroom. The shower is incredibly small and very impractical. One cannot even bend over to wash because the only way is to hang out over thru the curtain, thereby splashing water all over the floor. The shelf in the shower is also a waste because it is very small and has ridges that cause shampoo & conditioner bottles among other items necessary in a shower to fall off. The room was very disappointing.

The room we stayed in wasn't the dirtiest but it wasn't the cleanest. The walls and floor were dirty. Walking on the floor turned your feet black. There were boogers on the wall by the toilet. The price I was told originally changed and got higher. It was only higher by a few dollars. I expected it to be a certain price and when it wasnt I was a little frjstrated. All in all it wasn't terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to friends though.

We have stayed here many times in the past to attend equine events and always had a good, comfortable stay with great value (granted our last stay was over 8 years ago). Ended up checking out a day early and paying more to go to another hotel. No issues with desk staff, they were very polite and welcoming. First issue was some of the other guests that were, for lack of better terms, lurking about the property and appeared either high and/or drunk and looked almost homeless. I understand that motels/hotels are places where some people do in fact live and are also a place to relax and hangout; but late at night when you have a family, you also expect others to be relatively quiet and to be able to get settled in without feeling like your about to have your truck or room broken into because the other "guests" move closer to watch every move you make. We had requested a queen bed, received a double. The room, while non-smoking smelled of smoke. Linens and towels reeked of smoke as well. Room was either uncomfortably hot or cold as heater was either on full-blast at "hottest" setting or provided cold air at lowest "warm" setting. No in between no matter the setting on the dials. Bed was clean but only had two pillows that had barely any fluff to them. Comforter was hardly more than a sheet. No outlets other than a wet bathroom to charge devices. Bathroom door did not shut all the way, which is a concern when you have a toddler you need to keep out of it.

We had an unpleasant stay. The motel was heavy laden with drug abuse. The manager seemed to endorse the prevalence. The laundry woman asked my daughter to ask me to meet her at the laundry room. Then, the laundry woman asked me if I sold drugs, because she hoped to buy them. I reported this to Motel 6 headquarters. Our truck was hit, in the parking lot and the driver drove off. This was in front of the office. The office told us it was not their problem. There was blood splattered on the ceiling of our room, from a junkie's needle. The manager told me what it was from and said they would clean it. They did not. We had it above us for days. A drunk man pounded on our door, one night, looking for his brother. When he realized it was the wrong room, he spent the entirety of the night, intermittently pounding on a door two or three doors down from us. In the morning, the clerk came to ask him to go. This was no affective. I said call the police. The police came. Several of the clerks were actually kind. The manager was not.

Clean room, modern, I used to not like Motel 6 but they have changed alot and now I use them all the time. I pretty much know what I'm getting when I arrive, no bad surprises. The cost is fine. I have paid more for worse motels, never happy with that. So Motel 6 it is for me because I know what I'm getting and I like it. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. I travel a lot and like what I get here.

We were allowed to check in early, nice gesture. I booked a Queen sized bed, got an out of shape double bed. Outside that is didn’t get what I paid for, I just recently had hip replacement and found it almost impossible to sleep. We checked out a night early and left $134+ dollars on the table for a nights stay that we did not use. It was worth it to us to drive home rather than spend additional night in an undersized and over used bed. The very last time I will use Motel 6.

Very friendly helpful staff. Room was clean but the bed was the most comfortable bed I've had. On the second night I brought in one of my air mattress out of the trailer and had a comfortable night's sleep.

My stay was fine, customer service was great but unfortunately even though my room was non-smoking it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I had to buy fabreeze air fresheners which only helped to an extent. I actually had a couple of people tell me that I/my clothes, smelled like smoke through the day. My biggest problem is that I had my two year old daughter with me and felt really bad when she would try to open the door to the room because of the smell.

Heater did not turn off. Had to manually turn off when too hot. Shower curtain was half on half off and major dust in visible areas. I used their nice clean towels to take care of this for them.

The location in Prescott is perfect — walk to plaza and whiskey row is easy, places to eat are also within walking distance. We had two rooms and one smelled of cigarette smoke. When we mentioned this we were immediately given another room. I thought that Roseanne was particularly friendly and helpful.

The staff at the front desk were very nice and professional. I was told check in was at 3 and arrived around 3:30. I was given keys to a smoking room that was very dirty. The pillows were stacked behind the TV without covers, there was hair on the floor, beds, and tables of a previous guest, and piles of dirty towels in the bathroom. The heavy smoke smell was very strong and made breathing difficult. There were also large amount if pink smudges everywhere, could have been nail polish. I called the front desk immediately and was told housekeeping would arrive to finish cleaning. I waited half an hour before calling again and requesting a different room. The room I was switched to was much cleaner, and the only complaint on that room was the poor shower pressure. I should not have been given the room that was so obviously not cleaned and the lack of response to such poor conditions was disconcerting. I know it's a Motel 6 and not a higher end chain, but it was not a pleasant experience. At the very least I would expect a clean room.

When we first got there the manager worked with our rates, the new manager came in and didn't have any customer service, she worked with us for the first 2 weeks then changed her story. We've always had the exception rate in Kingman, Flagstaff and in Prescott until the new manager came in. We were gonna have our wedding party stay there in 12 or more rooms but that won't happen now because of the new general manager. Great staff and housekeeping. Blue and Roseanne are awesome! But again, unfortunately they have to work with the new manager that thinks Prescott is Mesa/Phoenix. The new manager is rude to her staff, rude to her customers, including my fiance and myself. Won't go back to this motel 6, ever!

The staff was very nice. We arrived closer to 10 pm and when we got to our room the TV was on and so was the bathroom light. We dropped our stuff and went to get food and came back. I further inspected the room cause I was suspicious of the lights and TV being on. I checked the bed and there was animal hair everywhere on the sheets under the blankets. I checked the bathroom and there was urine on the toilet and on the indside of the toilet bowl. It was clear someone was using that room before we got it. The night staff was very apologetic an switched our room which was in a perfect clean state. Other than that the stay was very comfortable.

I had a very expensive bottle of cologne stolen from my room by an employee. When I informed the front desk, they denied everything and had 0 accountability. The cologne magically appeared "mixed up with the towels", which is completely ludacris. I will never stay at another motel 6, nor will I recommend it to even my worst enemy. The only redeeming quality was the night clerk who checked us into our room. Upon checkout I was asked if they would like to do an investigation. I had no faith anything would be accomplished, as it was clear this behavior is acceptable, at this establishment.

We have stayed at this location before and that room was fine the last time but this weekend I actually requested a queen bed room. We got into the room and bed looked like a full bed also floors were dirty. I did bring it up to the guy at front desk, asking to make sure when housekeeping cleaned to make sure they clean the floors, instead of saying sure not a problem, he tells me they sweep and mop every day… I said OK but no they don't. There were blonde hairs on the floor and my socks were black on the bottom after less then 15min of walking the floor. Also Morgan was very nice when speaking with her on the phone and even more polite in person.

The people at the front desk where polite. Check in went fast and smooth. The next day when we returned to our room at 7:45pm the room was not cleaned and beds not made. I went to the front desk to inform them about the lack of maid service and told me that our room was locked. We left the room at 7am and did not return till 7:45 pm. The next morning I put on my socks and walked across the room to find out that the floor was filthy and my socks where soiled. So As I was gathering up my belongings only to find empty wine bottles and cups under the bed. The cleaning staff is not doing their jobs. The price of the room has gone up. For the same price or a couple of dollars more I can stay in a clean room. The room last week was not a good value.

I had reviewed this Motel 6 in the past as a clean, quiet, pet friendly motel. This time my stay I found my room to be kind of grungy and way overpriced. My room did not get cleaned even though I was out all day with my dogs. This was not worth $80 a night. I will never stay here again (I usually go to this area twice a year).

Everyone working there was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and smelled good. The bed was the only complaint, for some reason it was not as comfortable as normal Motel 6 beds. Good visit, good location.

I recently booked 4 rooms at this location to attend the funeral of my father. Obviously the anxiety level of the day was intense and after checking in to our rooms it only mounted. One of the rooms had the most awful smell so the door had to be left open to air it out. Another room had dog food on the floor and vomit in the trash can. We book this location so my grandson could utilize the pool only to find out it was closed for the season. What season? It was summertime and the perfect weather for a pool. The whole experience was a nightmare and I will be sure to tell anyone I know not to stay at this hotel. Things could be made right by refunded all four parties!

The room was great. The employee at the desk, Bleu, was amazing. We had driven all night and wanted early check in he found us a room that was ready and clean. He was very personable. I can't tell you what a great employee he is.

The gentleman who was working the front desk was wonderful. He had GREAT customer service and answered all of my questions. He was just pleasant in general. We had been on a road trip and had stayed at several Motel 6 locations, and this was the best one. The only negative thing, was that our comforters had cigarette burns in them.

The fellow on the desk when I checked in was very helpful — full kudos to him. The room was satisfactory — kind of what I expected from a Motel 6. It was clean and comfortable. Kind of little pricey for a Motel 6…

I would have given one star except that the motel comped my room the following night in another town after I made the suggestion. I've stayed at several different Motel 6 locations because I travel with my dogs and they're easy going about it. Every other location I've been to has been clean, friendly, secure and I would have no problem returning. However, this particular location was dirty and the security lock on my door was broken. In addition, management was insistent about "fixing" the lock on my door while I waited, rather than giving me a new room as I requested. When he realized he didn't have the right parts to fix it, he agreed to switch my room. Again, the room he wanted to switch me to had a broken security lock. He seemed befuddled as to what to do when he told me "all the rooms similar to the one you reserved are booked". I told him that at this point I should get whatever room was available, clean and secure as I paid for and he could deal with higher management. I also asked him how he would compensate for the dirty room, the broken lock, and the time waiting. He put me in a much nicer room with a secure security lock and the next morning, let me know that they would pay for my room in Flagstaff that night. I would not recommend staying at Motel 6 in Prescott, however, I've never had an issue at any other Motel 6 locations. On a more pleasant note, the receptionists were super sweet, accommodating, friendly and helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to the room I had booked for 8 days. It was very clean. They had done a remodel in 2015 and the rooms were very nice. There was wood floors which were way nicer than carpet. The price was great. There are no extras in the room which is fine by me. They did supply towels and soap, but the rest you supply yourself. The hotel staff is great. I dealt with a very nice young man named Jorael Jefferson. He was very nice and helpful. He always had a smile on his face. I'll be returning to the motel 6 next time I'm in Prescott.

We were burned out of our Prescott house on Saturday, May 14th. Through the Red Cross, and the help of friends and co-workers, we were able to stay at Motel 6 with all our pets until our move to California over Memorial Day Weekend. We are grateful to all the staff, and motel manager Clyde for being so understanding and helpful during our stay! Thank you, Motel 6 of Prescott, AZ!

Parking is a little cramped, but livable. I had room 101, nearest the office. Room A/C transfers a vibration to the bed, making it impossible to sleep, even when very tired, with the A/C on (including A/Cs in adjacent rooms. ) A/C problem I find is common to all Motel 6s. Bathroom fan is wall mounted and very loud. Fans in adjacent room (s) woke me at 3am most mornings. Table and chaIrs have metal feet. Daily noise from adjacent room or rooms above, from table and/or chairs being dragged along floor. Nylon feet for both table and chairs are recommended. With a little modification to corporate designs, could be a pleasant and quiet place to stay.

Customer service was over the top. So helpful and the location was perfect. I recommend staying in a room away from the stairs if you want a little bit of quiet. I can sleep through almost anything and those stairs were killin me with late arrivals banging around.

The room was very nice, felt updated and modern. Low amenities, but very good price. Friendly staff. Good places around it. Non smoking rooms did not smell of smoke, which was better than the usual. Overall a very high four if not five.

Auraly, (I hope I spelled that right) was very considerate of my needs, and didn't book anyone one into the room adjacent, because I needed to sleep for a test the next day. I thought that was very kind of her. I meant to tell her as much, but never got the chance. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, in such a beautiful city!

I originally scheduled my reservation through their hub service. My price that was vocally givin and the price I was quoted within my email did not match the price I was told when I walked in. Auraly assisted me when I checked in and was nothing short of amazing. I had my confirmation price adjusted and she was amazing at making me feel welcomed. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. Double points for being dog friendly with out charging! LOVE THIS! You get what you pay for doesn't apply here, I had a low cost stay with great customer service and great accommodation. Thank you Auraly!

Its great and affordable, good customer service and realy clean rooms. In little town of prescott.

Room Fan smelled really bad. Had to leave early. Room was clean and a nice room. If I got a room that had a vent that didn't smell like wet dog I would have given it 5 stars. Nice location nice staff good parking. I will stay again but if that fan stinks I will make them fix it or give me another room. The rooms should not smell that bad. I was way to tired to complain, I just turned the fan off it was a little hot without fan.

For the price I am very grateful to have this option available in Prescott. It is a moderate location to lay your head down at night. No its not a great family pick but for an adult on a budget you can't beat it. The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. The obvious complaint from some unfortunate non smokers is the room designation change that still has the lingering cig smell. Its not the end of the world, I promise, just switch rooms if its too bothering. Worked for me.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but the bed was a little uncomfortable for me.

Smelled like cat pee, shady people, everything out of date, felt like the kind of place where rooms would be rented by the hour. Payed for and stayed 3 days and had an employee come into the room on the 2nd day while I was sleeping telling me I had to get out, it was absolutely ridiculous. Never staying again.

After a particularly horrendous experience at a hotel an hour and half North in Sedona, it was refreshing to find a place that believes in quality customer service, no matter what price you are paying for the room. Andy checked us in, he was efficient, accommodating to our requests (we needed extra pillows), and even merged my two reservations into one due to a problem with the online reservation. We had a problem with the toilet in our room, and we reported it to Michelle the next morning. She was quite apologetic, and asked for key details in order to properly address it. After they applied the fix, the toilet worked fine, but went back to the same problems. Once again, Andy responded efficiently, and asked us if we wanted to change rooms. We did, and had no problems the rest of the stay. On checkout, Michelle was friendly, thanked us for our stay and wished us a safe trip home. Yes, the parking lot could use better lighting and repaving, and the building has seen better days. But the room was clean, we had no hassles, and the staff was friendly and customer-service oriented. TRUST ME, that goes the further with us.

In addition to paying $59.99 and 11.33% tax it was far from the $39.99 no Senior Discount was offered and I requested a no smoking room I stayed in room and even with a label on the door stating it was No Smoking they had an ashtray on the desk and the room smelled like cigarettes. I mentioned it to housekeeping and he gave me an air freshener spray it didnt help enough I wish it had been Fabreez/ After spending the night in this room with the window open and the heater running to stay warm by the next morning I felt like I had smoked a pack of cigarettes during the night and had a bad cough the entire day trying to clean out my lungs. I was very disappointed in my Single room and very glad I was not stuck there for a second night Im sorry I didnt stay at the Quality Inn that is right next door Do leave a light on for me next time I wont be staying at Motel 6 any time soon JBs Restaurant next door is wonderful and made our stay in Prescott better they have wonderful buffets very afordable its nice this town has options.
