Staff was fabulous did a pool pass today while in town and everything was awesome!

Our sheets were on inside-out and had a bunch of someone else’s human hair on the right side of the bed… I called the front desk and they said they’d send up clean sheets — and they never came. The rooms were noisy beyond anything I’ve ever stayed in, and I didn’t rest at all. This was supposed to be a fun little romantic staycation for my husband and me and it was just the worst waste of money ever. I begged my husband for us just to cut our losses and go home, even though we’d prepaid the room. It just sucked.

The design is among the best I’ve seen in a hotel. It’s fresh. It’s fun. & it’s feisty. Everything I could ask for! plus a few, unlimited arcade classics to play in the lobby?! A dream come true! Thanks Moxy! I’ll definitely be back. I also love the ability to stream your phone onto the TV. It’s easy & up to date with our modern times.

This is the hottest spot in Tempe! Great location, Great people and it offers a variety of things to do so you don’t have go anywhere!

Affordable venue rooms. Shelly was the most awesomest person and helped me so much! She went above and beyond. Recommend this place. Fun atmosphere fun for the whole family.

The MOXY is unlike any other Marriott brand it in terms of youthful whimsy and dedication to having fun! Great music is always playing, the front desk also serves as a bar where you receive a complimentary cocktail at check-in, and the lobby is not only huge (great for socializing) but also stocked with a pool table, board games, and arcade games free of charge. And there’s a patio and pool! The rooms are funky and modern, and I love the concept of the ironing room where I can grab some extra linens without the fuss of calling the front desk. The staff is phenomenal and I always feel welcomed and special when I stay! I love this hotel!

Super swanky industrial hipster hotel. Coolest vibe ever! Staff was wonderful too. We had a 3 hr wait for a flight out of Phoenix (only 15 min away) so they gave us a half-day rate of $45 so we could use the pool, play games, shower and relax. They also offer free Uber to the airport so it's even worth it if you have a long layover. Great deal and wonderful respite from the 115° heat!

Overall my stay was good. Hotel staff was very young but very helpful and polite. The room was clean and decor was trendy and right on par with the price. My only complaint is that everything in the hotel lobby is overpriced. $5.00 water and $3.50 for a small bag of chips. Very limited food menu as well. Hotel shares a parking lot with CVS so make the walk and get your snacks their.

This hotel is amazing! I hadn't thought much about the brand but now that I've stayed at one I will have no problem staying at another one day. The rooms were super clean (no carpeting and subway tiles in the bathroom). The beds were super comfy. There is no closet or drawers but I loved the pegs on the wall to hang whatever you need to hang. There are a lot of games to keep you occupied in the lobby/bar area. The bar is the reception desk. Best part? You get a cocktail when you check in. The pool is small but there is an 8ft deep end that I enjoyed. The area this hotel is in is great. Right by ASU so there are a lot of food and drink options.

I liked it! It was different! The only thing they need it was breakfast! Games in the lobby as well as a pool table was a good place to go hang out and have drinks. Love the pool 8 ft deep! So we had a good time!

Cool, eclectic little hotel. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice little be bar area. The room, however wasn't as I'd hoped or expected. The giant bean bag immediately made me wonder what activities had been enjoyed on there. I spoke to other co-workers who stayed there at the same time, and that's the same thought they had. I wasn't about to sit on it. The room was a little musty smelling and the temperature in the room swung wildly throughout the night making it a disrupted sleep.

Welcome drink of a cocktail or select draft beers upon arrival for each guest was an unique touch. The rooms were nice as we got upgraded to one studio with a balcony facing the pool which was nice. Lobby has free video games to play and a nice public lobby/lounge style area to hang out. Hotel and rooms are decorated in a more hipster or millennial theme as everything feels very Instagram post friendly which by all means isn't a bad thing it gives the hotel a different feel over traditional styled ones. Bed was comfy as were the pillows. The studio room comes with a king bed and a pull out sofa bed in case you have guests or kids. The other options were just a single king, no sofa bed or two queen beds.

Enjoyed staying at this property. Most typical Marriott business travelers were baffled by having to check in at the bar. Had some fun amenities in the lobby which made hanging out there similar to hanging out at your neighborhood brew pub. Staff was awesome, bed was comfortable and overall the stay was pleasant. The bikes you can borrow we're a "death trap" take advantage of a bird scooter instead.

We had an amazing night here. Room was awesome. Staff was friendly. It really is not what you expect in a hotel in a very very fun way. We will be back for sure, thanks for the best hotel getaway ever!

After we checked in we find out the air conditioner in our room doesn't work and it is pretty warm in the room. Maintenance comes and says it will be a little while to fix it, since we hadn't unpacked at all we asked to move rooms which they accommodated. We get to our second room and the thermostat doesn't work in that room. Maintenance comes up to that room and bypasses the thermostat so we just controlled it on the a/c unit itself. After that the rest of the week was fine, property is new and the pool area was clean and nice. The real problem came when we went to check out. The young man at the front desk was EXTREMELY unhelpful. It was about 4 AM when we went to check out and we were told he could not print us a receipt that it would be emailed to us which was pretty convenient since they increased our rate $30 for the last night of our stay and we were unable to see that until we got home and checked our email. We also tried to print our boarding passes however the printer was out of ink and when I told him his response was there was "nothing he could do". I never did get my boarding passes but instead downloaded the app for the airline we were on. If you stay here be sure to check the nightly rate on your receipt before you leave! Ours was increased and now no one returns our calls and we can't get it refunded. I will find a different Marriott property the next time I am in town!

I went to moxie as part of a meet and greet from a social website I'm a part of. It was the most gorgeous Lobby reception I've ever had. I love how they took special care to make sure that interior decorating was spot-on, trendy, interesting and very clean looking. I didn't stay in the room so I didn't get a chance to see those but I bet they would have impressed.

The vibe I got when staying here was very hipster. I think it appears more to a college audience. Look: The bedroom had a chill atmosphere. I liked how along the wall there was all these hanging hooks. The barn-sliding style door on the bathroom threw me for a loop. There is a smart TV but this is the first hotel I've ever been in that didn't have a small fridge or ice machine (although you could get a ziplock bag of ice from the bar). Service: I find it weird how the check-in area is the bar. But then again, apparently a drink is included with your stay. The people were really nice and able to help me. Was easy to request extra toiletries also. There's pool and a pool. Price: We stayed one night and overall I feel like it was on the pricey side for what it did offer. It's lack of certain things (a fridge) make me think about staying at basically any other hotel. But it is kind of expensive so another hotel would be cheaper.

I have stayed here several times since the hotel opened and while I was impressed on previous visits, this time not so much. The room was not cleaned well. Stains on the floor were evident and numerous, meaning no mopping was performed. Elevators seemed run down, one was out of service. The service in the bar area was slow. The only thing going for this place is their decent location. I might give it one more shot the next time I am in town.

Great hotel for a great price. Hotel provided a complimentary drink upon arrival. The games in the game area were complimentary too! The bar and a snack bar were available all night. And there was even an option to upgrade your room to add a patio for a more than reasonable rate. Great place to stay if you like art work and care free amenities for a weekend getaway!

It’s a fun vibe, the people are friendly, the rooms are sleek and clean, got a minimalist post-modern decor with retro accents… all good, but I’m not nearly hip enough to stay here again. It’s a cross between W Hotel minimalism and a European Hostel. They encourage guests to mingle and “play”, and being a happy husband/father in Phoenix on business, the atmosphere just didn’t really appeal to me. Plus with guests laughing and carrying on, the loud bar area music and such, my sleeping routines were a bit off. I would definitely recommend this hotel for high school/college age kids, families with kids, or anyone traveling for leisure.

Fabulous hotel for visiting and having a good time. Terrible if you actually want to have a good sleep and stay overnight. I would go back to enjoy the amenities, bar, and lobby area. Maybe even visit if someone I know is staying there to see the awesome rooms but walls are very thin and people party until late.

Very Overpriced at $350.00 per night, rooms were not well thought out. Lights under the beds which were the brightest in the room came on every time anything hung over the side being it a blanket or leg, waking up other occupants of the room. No dresser or desk to put your cases on so everything had to sit on the floor making it hard to access your clothes. The 300 lb rolling barn door on the bathroom made sure no one slept when anyone else in the room was accessing the bathroom. My wife is a former CFO for a huge hospitality company hosting Hilton’s, Marriotts, Holiday Inns, Ramada’s. This place was a joke charging way over Hilton prices for a below Motel 6 Quality! As A businessman and owner relocating to Phoenix I would never recommend this Hotel to anyone traveling for any reason!

"Whoa! " And "No way! " (in a great way) Was the words that came out from my kids mouth the moment the door of the hotel opened, From the time we landed, to the check in experienced and into our room… everything was exceptional! The lobby decor was so different from what a "normal" hotel that I've stayed at (and I've stayed at alot of them). By far, this hotel is super charming in its own way. Although the space is not large, It's eclectic, it's modern with alot of colors a…nd textures. The multitude of fabrics, patterns, and art items (I dig the bikes) all throughout the lobby and our room blended in together nicely that it felt like "I'm home! " I give your decor 10+ (trust me I don't give that score often) First off, our flight was delayed so we landed pass 1am, I called the hotel to make sure they did not give away our room. Not only they didn't, they sent a car to pick us up, and they picked up the tab! How awesome is that?!? Thanks Patrick (he was the one who sent the ride and also made our check in experienced flawless! ) Secondly, the room was absolutely gorgeous! The words my 22 & 17 year old used was "this is freaking awesome! " And "I'm feeling the vibe of this room! " I knew then, this hotel just moved up to our "A" lists of — must stay again next time place- I gave this hotel a 4.5 star bcoz we really didn't get to take advantage of what the hotel has to offer. It's not bcoz we didn't want to, but bcoz we had no time.

Super cool hotel! Very retro, lots of unique touches to the hotel from the lobby to the rooms. I would have given it 5 stars but the bed was very hard, didn't sleep very well. Walls are super thin so you can hear things you dont want to hear from other guests.

Strangest place I've ever stayed. It was clean and comfortable, and everyone was friendly, it was just a very unusual vibe for a hotel. I'm definitely not hipster enough to stay there. No closet, no coffee maker in the room. Giant bean bag and a guitar hanging on the wall for me to use. Every room had a frosted window on the door with the word "Disturb" painted on it. I got a good night's sleep, and enjoyed my stay. Just a very surreal experience.

This is a great eclectic, boutique-like hotel. It has a retro feel with extras you want. The bar check in is unique & casual. The rooms are great. I just didn't like that there were no ice machines. The later checkout of noon was nice with extensions easily available.

Awesome hotel with a neat concept! Picking up your room key at the bar with a free drink is fun. The bed is comfy and the chair in the room is a giant bean bag. The decor in the rooms is modern, totally random and awesome all at once. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is cause it was noisy all night. We could hear our neighbors and outside pretty well. That said, we will definitely be back.

I stay in Phoenix every week for work and this is by far my least favorite hotel I've stayed in. I like the concept of the hotel and the modern vibe, but the way the hotel is run is absolutely unacceptable. During my stay both elevators went down and one of the two stairwells was being blocked off as well. In order for guests to get to the lobby, guests had to walk to the opposite end of the hotel and down stairs and then outside of the building to re-enter in the lobby. The staff put signs up informing people to use a Different elevator, but the elevator the signs directed you to was also down. During my stay there was also a water outage that the staff failed to communicate to guests. When I got back from working out I went to take a shower to find there was no water. I called down to the lobby to discuss the water issue they said they are aware and it would be repaired within the hour. Five hours later the problem had not been repaired and I had received no updates as to when it would be repaired. I would not recommend this hotel.

Very dope spot, came over from baltimore to an a event here in arizona. This place is very unique. It's defiently relax atmosphere. The pool area is very nice also. If your in arizona area defiently check this place.

I like their whole theme and the room was really nice. I did NOT get a free cocktail upon check-in, and I DEF didn't get a warm welcoming feeling from ANY of the staff! … It was almost as if I was looked at like I was in the wrong place! … I more than likely won't stay here again.

I'm all for whimsy, kitsch and being unique, which the Moxy definitely is. Selfie elevators, alkaline water and free signature cocktails are cute, nice touches. That said, adding a little more functionality to the rooms would be great. No fridge= no place to keep leftovers, no cold beverages, etc. I know you're encouraging guests to go to the lobby and mingle, but one might want to enjoy a cold beverage in their room once in a while, especially on a longer stay. Loved your Muk products, but 2 people in the room, 2 towels, how do I wash my hair? Just a little bit of pragmatism to this fun, quirky place would make the stay unbelievable.

Dirtiest rooms ive ever been in moldy carpet smell! Changed rooms 3 times. While in the process the manager opened the door to our new room which was already occupied by a naked couple! Super unprofessional and needs to be shut down!

The worst hotel I have ever lived in. Everything kept breaking and they never cleaned our room unless we called them. This isn't owned by sheraton anymore. Don't think about booking here and if I could have given less than 1 star I would've.

THIS IS NOT A FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON! it recently converted to an independent hotel by the name of Hotel 1333. The room assigned to us was, for lack of a better term, disgusting, nasty, smelly, etc. It took managment half of an hour to find us a room that was semi-decent, eventually leading us to the deserted 4th floor of the hotel. It was appreciated that they switched us to another room, but it was not much better. Honestly, think twice about booking this hotel, pictures can be deceiving.

It has some quirks, like no lift for sink stopper. Toilet was clean clogged, but fixed on request. Breakfast was good. Bed and bathroom were great. Will book again.
