Pros — cheap, kitchenette, and that's about it. Cons — Super slow internet so that you are forced to pay for "enhanced" iternet for $14, we got bit by bed bugs! Microwave manufacture date is 1998, toilet clogs repeatedly, asked for Comfort Package with dishes and they said they didn't have anymore… wow, & I can't tell if the carpet stank or if the bed bugs reaked an odd disturbing odor. I did not walk around with the room w/o my shoes on. LAST BUT NOT LEASTAn employee came to our room in the morning while we sleeping knocks while opening the door with her master key and asks if she can come in and inspect our room bc there were complaints of Marijuana odor in the hallway outside of our door… um with rooms surrounding mine how could she possibly assume it was us? So she "searches" and finds an old cigarette butt in the window and holds it up like she now has all the eveidence she needs as if she were Inspector Gadget. Then asks us when we were due to leave… never ever going there again & I don't recommend you do either. Date: 7/27/18.

This hotel was a little older and could use some minor repairs, but overall I enjoyed my stay. Beds were comfy and my room was really quiet. I recommend this hotel to people traveling with kids. There is a full kitchen, may not have an oven I can't remember, but it does have a microwave. All utensils are provided. My room was super clean. Not only would stay there again, I have already suggested to people going to the phx area. Hope this helped.

Just dropped off a friend, but the hotel looks really nice so next time I'm ever in need of a room I'll definitely consider this place!

Rooms are nice for the price. The in room kitchenette could use and update. Having to request kitchenware for the room vs it already being inside the room was disappointing. All in all… It works for what I needed at the time.

It was my first time staying in this chain of hotel. It was a surprise that there was a small kitchen in my room. I loved it! Breakfast wasn’t much — just coffee, oats and muffins.

People very nice. Rooms are nice. Bedding clean, no bed bugs.

Was only here briefly visiting a friend. It seemed to be a decent place to stay.

When my son booked our rooms we ended up at a satellite place without a pool. The site was only a. Mile away from where we were and told we can use that site. Got towels and entry ok but when my wife needed a bathroom the person at the counter told her rudely that the bathroom was out of order. We should have gotten a room there. Until we wanted to swim we didn't know our place has no pool. Sure put a damper on our visit. Will wait to bear from your dept Rusty Trevino.

As an expert reviewer with over 300 reviews and over 50, 000 views, I very rarely give a one star review, but in this case, if I could give no stars, I would. I arrived at 2 am and after going through the hassle that this people don't even know what is available and what not, I was too tired to argue. I only wanted to go to sleep. After I finally had my room key in my hand and I opened the door to my room, I was overwhelmed by the stench that was in that room. Like cold, old, stale, mixed human sweat. Something like a rotten onion heap with vinegar. I usually don't complain, but it was unbearable. I was given a second option and upon entering that room, it smelled clearly like a smokers room, also extremely disgusting. The third room was a bit better, it only smelled like a dog park on a rainy day. In the meantime, it was 3 am (5am for me, because I came from the East coast) and I was too tired. The entire experience was GROSS and DISGUSTING! The bed linen looked used and cheap, the floor and carpet grossed me out and the toilet was not properly cleaned. After the shower I grabbed a "clean" and folded towel and it had the dame exact odor as the first room. Super disgusting! never again extended stay of america!

Water running lightly in the tub and won't turn off. Blood? spots on the floor. A spot on my sheet that looks new, not washed. TV older and small. A/C was on full blast at 80 degrees when I walked in. Front desk attendant was wearing a huge t-shirt with paint spots all over it and it was the most unorganized check in process I've ever dealt with, and I travel a decent amount for work. Shower head looks like it's from 1970 and is hooked up to an array of fittings, which all leak. Their "free breakfast" is one tray of granola bars and a few packets of instant oatmeal, and coffee. Not even water available to drink.

Double billed by them and hotwire. I'll call for a refund and will try not to get angry.

The rooms are adequate. The management is usually busy but they were very helpful and courteous. Find it and GO!

Watch out for smart a** staff member Jorge who claims he's a man of God but smokes weed then goes from room to room sniffing peoples doors for evidence of smoking. Not to mention the rude front desk lady who tried to fraudulently charge my credit card. Do yourself a favor and stay one of the nicer hotels in the area that have similar pricing.

Me and my boyfriend bought a 2 night stay here and when We checked in, our room was filthy! There was dog hair all over the bed and shower wasn’t cleaned. We went back to the front desk and asked for another room and the guy said only one was available so we took the keys and checked the room out and Surprisingly it was even worse. There was still dog hair all over the bed, the shower was discussing, and there was dirt all over the floor. We immediately checkout and ask for a refund to be told we need to have the manager approve it, when the manager wasn’t available until 9am the next morning. (This is all happening at 11pm at night). So we remain checked out had to sleep in my boyfriends car, as that place was absolutely disgusting. The next morning we contact the manager for the refund and SHE REFUSES! She goes into complete denial about the room, so my boyfriend asked to personally walk up to the room with her and show her and she refuses! Then he asked for the room key since technically we payed for 2 nights and would still have 1 night for the room regardless of if we stayed or not, and the manager REFUSED US OUR ROOM THAT WE PAID FOR! We’ve been trying to get our refund of $150 and it’s been a nightmare as the managers are refusing and then LYING and saying we stayed in the room for 3 hours! When we have proof that called immediately after checking out for our refund! The managers name is Elise or Alyssa.

Guy at the front desk is cool as hell and definitely makes you feel at home.

We have been here 2 months during our relocation to Phoenix and it’s been a wonderful experience. The staff is kind and accommodating, the room is clean, and the price is fair.

My family have had a great experience staying here at ESA, the staff was always attentive and assisted when needed!

I stayed at this location due to work. I am in construction. In my company meeting I am asking they no longer use this location/company. There is numerous things that need to be fixed and updated. From plumbing, cable, the animal smell and barking. I never ever do reviews or complain. Especially when I'm staying for free because employer paid. What I witnessed yesterday after work bothered me. This woman with clipboard banging on 211 door. Clearly she worked for Extended Stay. When woman open door the worker said rudely, " I am coming in to see if you smoking ". This woman with clipboard was so loud. She told them they had one hour to get out. I'm a non-smoker, I hate the smell so I'm all for no smoking. I couldn't help but see the man that was also in room was in pain walking to elevator. I went to knock and see if the young lady needed help and I heard her crying. She opened the door and I asked to help. The room first of all didn't smell like smoke and I can smell cigarette smoke miles away, she asked if I could help lift her bag. I told her don't let this get you down. She cried harder and explained, her fiance is disabled, they were saying there until house was complete, she is the only one working and she found out she had cancer today. She went in bathroom to hide and had a cigarette. She said I was wrong but I was stressed not knowing how to tell fiance, or how will we live? Now, for one cigarette they charging $250 we are barly making it. I offered to give her money.

The first room they gave us was dirty the second room yhe gave us had popcorn on the floor and a TV dinner in the microwave no counter space in the bathroom didnt offer breakfast walls are very thin had to ask multiple times for dishes ni ice machine or ice buckets not impressed will never stay again.

Expected better breakfast options. They had only coffee, muffins n nature valley breakfast bars.

The staff were extremely pleasant and enjoyable with me. Especially the front desk.

Convenient to my 3 month work assignment, restaurants, grocery stores and shoppng. Low traffic in neighborhood except bordered on interstate freeway. However, customer service was abdominal (except for Jorge, Ryan, and Teresa) and weekly housekeeping was barely tolerable. Trash wasn't always emptied, sundries not replaced, and linen changed only by request. I traveled with a dog and had 5 days when management had to access my room for various property inspections and tasks. We were only given 2 days warning which was insufficient to make arrangements.

This worked prefect for us, our huge dog got to stay, breakfast was crap so Einstein Brothers every morning. Was a private hotel no one really for in your business. Night staff was friendlier than day staff. I'm from Tennessee where we're all polite so it was vice to feel like I was still at home. No issues with room/service/billing/bed… nothing. Parking gets hectic when the hotel is full but still a great place!

I enjoyed my stay. Check in was easy and enjoyable. They were polite and made my check in brief. Check out was equally easy. The room was nice and clean. Everything worked as intended. I would go again.

Horrible Bed! Might as well as been a piece of plywood, For double bed room the 90+ price tag not worth it at all. Free breakfast awesome, but not so much… Its on a table about the size of a dresser dont expect much seriously. No coffee maker in the room. You have to ask front desk and they'll charge you for it. We will never come back. Beware…

Yes it smells like a casino. I found pubic hair in my bathroom. The towels looked so old. The packaged soap they provide for bathing had a funky odor leaning towards a weird plastic smell unlike a common floral fragrance. The faucet in the tub kept dripping all night that I had to shut the door. The receptionist also wore a wrinkled polo shirt. Amenities includes coffee, muffins, and some fig bars. Now the good things. It is located among several shopping options. Its located somewhat close to the I-10. The a/c unit worked excellently. The weekend price is not so bad at $70 bucks. The bed was alright along with the sheets. The comforter was okay. The room included a nice kitchen with big fridge to ice up my drinks. The free Wi-Fi was not so bad. Whoever was the rooms keeper they had the room look nice overall. But I wonder why cleaning staff wouldnt report a leaking faucet and some minor fixes. The entire property periphery was well lit. For the $70 we paid I grade this place with a solid: B- because of the price we paid otherwise it would have immediately took a dent on my overall reaction.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The ironic part of my experience has been that they are not prepared to have someone stay for an extended amount of time, which is what they are marketed as. I have been here 8 weeks and had a terrible experience overall. I have had multiple problems that took almost my whole stay to get fixed. From the moment I checked in they had the billing information completely backwards. The notes they had to go along with the card on file were wrong and said not to use the card that I gave them to bill me on each week. It took them 4 weeks to simply change the notes in the system to bill the card weekly. My toilet was running the minute I got into the room and it took them 3 weeks to fix it because they had to go to Home Depot to buy the part making me wonder why they didn't stock such a small part that is an easy fix. I went away for the weekend and came back to my card not working to get into my room and it took them 2 weeks to figure out the correct amount of time to program my room key for. The fridge stopped getting cold during my stay too and they said they replaced it but the last week of my stay it started to have the same problem again and I did not even bother to tell them because I did not want to hassle with the lack luster service they provide here. My final problem is it took them 2 weeks to get my room on the cleaning the schedule and have it cleaned once a week.

Position is great for shopping, staff is cool, room is clean. Breakfast is Coffee, oak and some Muffins. Third floor was really quiet.

This my third time at this chain I found it quite good, price wise and well as clean. Near to many places to eat and shop, I would stay here again.

Horrible horrible horrible. I booked a non smoking room and they put me on an entire smoking floor that smelled like a casino! Wanted my room changed and there weren't any left. I'm still trying to get a refund but it's not looking very good since their customer service is a joke. Do yourself a huge favor and stay somewhere else.

Its just a place to crash for the night. No amenities. but then again its purely for cost effective and extended stay purposes. free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, onsite laundry, weekly towel and sheets change, TV channels (ESPN is all I need actually).

We booked based on price and location — five minutes from our relatives — and weren't disappointed. Not at all hard to find — GPS took us right to it. Great location in the heart of a shopping mall area, but far enough removed to be quiet. Our room was clean (except for a Dorito behind the bedside table) and functional — based on previous reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. The TV is about 19" and older but there were plenty of channels and Showtime. Huge fridge, nice microwave, two-burner stove. Bring your own coffee (only one packet is provided, you can buy more at the desk) and coffee filters (small dish-shaped — not cone — kind for a 4-cup coffeemaker), dish soap, paper towels, and frying pan. The bare minimum dishes and silverware (2 of each) are supplied, though you can ask for more. There's a Target across the street and Fry's supermarket within 3 minutes. The bed was comfie but the walls are thin, and we heard (a) an arguing couple and (b) a BIG barking dog right next door throughout our first night. The dog continued to bark off and on all day. Our request to be moved was pleasantly and quickly accommodated. The bathroom smelled a bit but was clean and functional. Waiting to see what the second room will be like in comparison. We liked the high-speed wireless connection for as many laptops as you care to connect for a flat rate of $4.99 per stay.
