Hello, On Saturday 4/28/18 my two sons and I stayed in room 126 at your Nogales, AZ location on Mariposa Street. I had a very hard time sleeping, the guest above us were very loud. We could hear their footsteps all night and early into the morning. I also had a very hard time going to sleep because I was very itchy. I thought I may have had an allergic reaction to the detergent used to wash the sheets and blankets but last night after constant itching all day, I found a few very small and dark bugs in my hair. I have irritation on the back of my neck, back and chest area and I constantly feel something crawling on my scalp. I've compared what I've found to pictures on the internet and I believe what I've been in contact with are fleas. I am truly disgusted and I will NEVER return to a Motel 6 again and I will be sure to leave negative reviews on as many internet sites as possible. Sincerely, Minna Chavarria.

Customer service was exceptional! Rooms could have more amenities, and pool was ice-cold. Otherwise fine.

Manager/owner (? ) and his associates there have excellent customer service! That’s its only saving grace, however. Pool was ice-cold, old CRT tv, none of the usuals such as free Wi-Fi, in-room fridge, microwave, coffee, etc. But it was clean and the bed wasn’t bad. But for only $50 you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a cheap place with truck parking, clean bed n hot shower it’ll suit you fine. 4 stars is me being very generous due to exceptional customer service…

I've spent years of my life in hotels, and none I can think of was worse than this one, where I spent a week. The toilet stopped up every day, without regard to what was put into it. Rather than fix it they offered to provide me with a plunger. It is obvious that they knew the toilet was a problem when they rented the room. Annoyingly, they charge $3/day for Internet. When I took the room I was told that I could have it for free if I promised to give the hotel a top rating when the company sent me an email. This bribe is apparently routine, so all positive reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. I accepted the free Internet deal, but it turned out that I was to get only one free day out of my week. After I griped I was very reluctantly extended more nights, but the access codes were very unreliable, sometimes working less than an hour. The maids were friendly.

Perfect value for the night in the border area.

The rooms are a decent size, my wife loved the twin bed. Only stayed one night but will stay again when in town.

The guy nose is area really decently and gives really good directions so you can get something to eat the rooms and nice size.

The manager was fantastic. The staff in general was great. I felt the room could have been cleaned a little more. The floor had these needles all over the place from cactuses. Other than that. It was awesome there. Nice combination of restaurants in the area. Gas station next door. The staff is very friendly and will be more than happy to give you directions where anything is.

I thought it worked very well especially with the dog. I was a little frustrated at having to pay for Wi-Fi but other than that it suited my needs. I wopuld highly recommend it to someone looking for a pet friendly place to stay.

Last week I went to rent a room at this Motel and decided not to get the room because of how rude I was treated at reception by Chris. He was flirting and being disrespectful. I told him I didn't want to rent the room so then he apologized but laughed at the same time which made me even more mad! I asked him if I could speak to the manager and he told me they weren't there. So then I asked for the managers name and he just apologized again. Definitely not going back.

There we a group of 9-10 people ahead of me when we arrived. They were all together and paid cash. We had resevations, when I asked for a handicap room, I was told they were full. They were given to the group ahead of me non hanicapped. When we entered our room it was filled with the smell of cat urine. We travel with 2 small. Dogs, walk them frequently and have potty pads in case of accidents. Once I was settled for the night I took my leg brace off as I am only barefoot at bedtime. When I entered the bathroom I had a carpet nail completly go into the soft inner part of my foot. I warned my daughter to step over the carpet to enter the bathroom. They were remodeling the motel, so I borrowed a hammer and pounded in 8 more nails. When I went to check out, I informed them of the problem, showed them the nail that was in my foot and took them to my room to find the nails secure but one more sticking straight up ready for the next foot. I was told that maintenance would take care of the problem asap and I should have informed them. I also uniformed them that the smell of cat urine was quite strong and needs to be deororized. The employees were kind especially the gentleman who worked 2-10 I don't remember his name. I realize it is not a fancy motel, but have never had any problems in the past, only wanting a clean room and bed, never caring for fancy anything. I just was shocked by the smell and the nail in my foot.

Good location close to many stores. The rooms are comfortable and there's a lot of space. The room service was good they cleaned my room in minutes.

You were a life saver with your a/c since the one in my truck broke. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable The hot water in the shower took a long time to show up but it was ok when it got there. All else was top notch. All in all a good experience.

Chose this hotel because of the proximity of the interstate and because they accept pets. Check in was fast and efficient. Person on the desk went over and above the normal is providing assistance and advice. Hotel meets basic standards. Reservation was for an upgraded room, it was not available. I will stay there again for the convenience.

Good service, got the 2nd floor as requested, but even though it was a non smoking room I could smell old cigarette odor. The shower was clean, but had a hole in the interior base in need of repair. The linoleum floor was peeling up in the corner, but it was out of the traffic area under the sink. Overall, I got what I paid for — a comfortable one night.

I have stayed at this location about 25 times in the last 10 years. It is clean, safe, economical and next to a full service station with everything you need, gas, snacks, fast food, coffee, and all type of drinks.

Traveling alone, I needed a clean, safe, budget hotel near the Border crossing in Nogales, AZ. I had stayed at this particular property 4 years ago during my stop in Nogales… I was moving permanently to Mazatlan, Mexico. I was traveling with my personal belongings and 3 small dogs. I found the property to be perfect, and I felt very safe with the parking area near my room, since my vehicle was "packed" with my stuff. That satisfactory visit, 4 years ago, led me to book the Motel again, for a short stay across the Border, conducting some business regarding the Nationalization of my car. I was not disappointed. The Motel is still clean and safe, and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend the property to anyone traveling through Nogales.

Mixed review. First time excellent room. Just needed a clean place to rest with a little TV. Perfect and good price. Room 123 Second time we stayed in room104. Totally different stay. Loud loud neighbors through 3 am… Very thin walls. Could hear them cough even. No hot water — management was working on it. Had a hot shower in morning instead. Luck of the draw.

Stayed here for 1 night with my 2 dogs. No complaints about anything. A/C, TV cable, internet, etc. Worked fine. Motel 6 is what it is and most people like me come here because they allow dogs without additional fees so that is a priority rather than having complimentary toiletries and/or a swanky environment. Location is close to the border and in a safe area with plenty of stores around. Office staff was friendly and helpful. If you have AARP you get free basic internet and checkout at 2:00pm which is a nice perk.

This place is among the worst stays I ever had at a Motel 6. The place looks clean on the surface, but the cleanliness covers up the filth below the surface. I had to switch rooms three times. The first room was broken into. Room completely trashed. I obviously wanted another room, but also insisted on having security check the room. Front desk manager tried to play it off that there was no security on the property even though it was obvious her charade wasn't working. Not having adequate security in a border town is very dangerous. Do not bring children here. Second room's phone didn't work. Third room's heater was maxed out turning the room into a sauna. I was worn out by this time, and gave up after having driven over 8 hours. Wifi doesn't work on tablet computers or cell phones. (I'm an IT consultant and was only able to get my laptop to work). Bandwidth is barely usable and will easily clog up if the property was even modestly occupied. Toilette is flimsy. Shower is ice cold for almost ten minuties before it warms up. Shower stall is barely big enough for my short 5' 4" stature to take a shower in. I will not stay at this hotel ever again and I do not recommend anyone staying here.

Not very clean. Cheap and smells like a retirement home ewwwww never again.
