Friendly staff, delicious complimentary breakfast, best coffee in any hotel in Fairbanks.

The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated with an Alaskan theme. My room was enormous, probably a suite, but since I didn't reserve the room myself I don't know. It had a partial kitchen (sink, refrigerator, and microwave, table and four chairs), and the two queen beds shared a room with couch space for four and a regular sized HD TV. There was some tape that held down the seams of one cupboard in the bathroom, otherwise everything was in good repair and very clean/orderly. The elevators we're quiet, I turned away for half a second to check my luggage and nearly missed the chance to stick my hand in the door to stop it from running away. The staff was very friendly, curteous to guests and to each other. They were clear and accurate about shuttle schedules to various parts of the airport, though I had to ask since they weren't posted. The continental breakfast was okay, fruit juices, some basic muffins, and bagels. The biscuits and gravy were good, much better than ones I tried at a different place the previous day, though not special. Eggs were typical powdered nonsense. They also have a nifty pancake machine that rolled them out onto your plate, though I didn't try them. Overall a very pleasant stay. Proximity to the airport is a huge plus, though the roads are a little difficult to figure out with frontage roads and one ways.

Stayed here for a week in the family suite. We loved it. Great people, good service and a great breakfast. I would definitely stay there again. Great value for your money.

Steve is in the building. Our stay was great here. We always have our dogs and this is why we love LaQuinta. We were on the first floor and everything was perfect. The highlight though came from when we left LaQuinta. We had accidentally used the wrong card and Steve helped us out with the process to credit and charge a different card. He also noticed our rewards were going to someone else and that my wife's name was wrong on our membership. He directed us to the Returns Department to were we got our points back and changed her name on the membership. Quick and easy. Thank you Steve for your help and wish y'all the best in Fairbanks.

Loved that I was able to bring my dog! She goes everywhere with me. The room was good the price was really good. Wish it would have been a bigger room it felt squished with the two queen beds in there. I will stay here Again.

The building is quite new and lovely. They we're able to accommodate our large family of 7. The breakfast had a good variety and the food was mediocre. The house keeping was absolutely terrible. We stayed 4 days some of our beds were made 2 days. Some were never made. On the day they made one of the three beds, they didn't touch the bottom sheet or mattress pad so I had to take it apart and remake it. The sink, toilet and tub were never touched at all. No sweeping or vacuuming at all.

I would have graded it better but after complaining to night front desk man about a filthy coffee maker in my room. 208 He did nothing said he would pass it on but didn't even offer me a new or clean one to use. But he did pointed to breakfast area where I went to get a cup of coffee and it was ICE cold. I would have graded it 0 stars but when I check in the morning with the nice older man at front desk to see if the night man had told them or left a message he replied how sorry he was and No he was not told so I showed him just filthy it was with a picture I had taken. I will not put the picture up as that is only have the problem the night front desk guy is a bigger issue if you ask me.

Quiet, very clean, pretty rooms that are quality, updated, and modern. Lots of parking, fast internet too. Great price too. Restaurant on site w bar, lots of flowers, trees, banquet area. The breakfast is AMAZING! so many options, hot, cold, fruit… Better than going out and it's included. Great coffee, great way to start your day.

I usually stay at this hotel for a night, there's a fred Meyer, Safeway, and fast food nearby about 5 min. Drive. There's a restaurant and lounge next to hotel. Room rates are awesome, clean hotel, and quiet rooms. Definitely Recommend this to friends.

Very nice, great service full continental breakfast. Need a rental car tho as it is not close to much. Free shuttle to airport and Fred Meyer.

What a stunning refurbishment and establishment. Will be my goto hotel for Fairbanks from now on. Felt like a hotel hitting higher than its currently classed. I will say the only thing which would have made the stay nicer is a few more friendlier greetings from the staff. A little pride in what is a nice accommodation would be welcomed by me as the guest.

The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed it so much we barely left.

Incredibly convenient being so close to the airport. Staff isn't the quickest, but they are very friendly. Complimentary breakfast is nothing special, but there is a good little restaurant out back of the hotel. They do offer special rates for certain sports teams so there is usually a team or two on weekends.

We ate dinner at the finish line. It was moderate at best. My husband disliked his food and mine was ok a salad. The waitress was ok. Other guests were very loud and drunk.

Service is horrible. Front desk messed up my reservation and did not apologize at all. Made me feel like it was totally normal to provide bad service.

I stay there all the time it's great and nice rooms really clean.

When a place changes hands you never know what will happen. This place used to score an A on every one of my visits. The new owners have moved it to an A+ game. Great place next to airport but zero plane noise.

Went to the hotel for dinner before we flew out, the meals and was very tasty and a generous sized size. The staff were also extremely helpful and happy.

Very good customer service. We had a large group and took up over 40 rooms for 2 weeks. The accommodated us very well.

We had a room with 1 king bed, a microwave and a mini-fridge. The experience was pretty good. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the breakfast was good. I felt that the room was a little small, but for a couple over a long weekend it wasn't an issue. The service staff we interacted with were excellent as well, extremely friendly and polite.

So refreshing! The hotel is new and clean, the staff is helpful, and I felt at home during my three day stay!

Awesome "country home" environment. Awesome staff living the traditional family values. My observation was that they work together; respectful of each other. Their attitude and disposition resonates throughout everything that they do. Courteous, friendly and humble. As for the facilities? Excellent, looks brand new. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Small bar and restaurant on the ground level also family style reception. Staff willing to go out of their way. Good breakfast in the morning. Cookies and coffee in the main lobby. This is a 6-Star Hotel in my books!

Very close to the airport. Staff very friendly. Rooms don't feel clean and linens are old and worn, but very quite.

The place was fine but I got charged twice on my room the first night. Spent most my next day trying to fix that. Then a week later they charged me again. Now I'm on the phone with the same people going through the same issues on my day off. Thanks a lot, I'm definitely not coming back.

I made a reservation for my son and his family to stay at the alpine on June 19th. I had heard good things about them. I made sure the person who took the reservation knew they would be flying in on the red eye and they were paying for the room; however, I guaranteed the room with my card. Low and behold they charged my card on the very day I made the reservation as a "NO Show". Mind you this was two days before they were to arrive. After 5 phone calls I was told I it would be straightened out and I would get the money returned as a credit to correct the mistake. On the 25th, the credit was finally given. Now here it is on the 28th and I have two more charges on my card which total over $350.00. For what I have no idea. When I called to get this mess straightened out I was told there was no management until Monday. It is OK for them to steal my money but I have to wait to get it back. Do not trust this facility with your money or credit card information, who knows how many other people they have or are doing this to. And to top this mess off, when I picked my family up I was told by them the shower drain was clogged, it did not get taken care of during their stay. I would advise anyone or everyone to stay away from this place. The only thing good about this place is Steve, the employee who seems to be the only one who cares enough to attempt to make things right.

Wonderful hotel and staff. Very polite, informative and courteous. Room was clean and prepared and warm, unlike some hotels in Alaska that keep the room temps down. Highly recommend it. Probably our favorite Fairbanks hotel.

Firstly a "CLEAN HOTEL", stuff are friendly and accomodating, breakfast and Wi-Fi are FREE! during winter. The best and way too generous service they offerred. The park and fly. Just booked one night then left my car for 2 weeks without any cost and they offer free pick and drop shuttle from airport to the hotel vice versa! I highly recommend this place when you visit fairbanks alaska.

Clean, comfortable, accommodating and friendly service! I've stayed at the Alpine Lodge at least 6 times this year and enjoyed each time. The staff has always been extremely helpful and personable, whether it was front desk or housekeeping. The amenities are more than adequate. Guest computer/printer and Wi-Fi, continental breakfast with a great variety of healthy choices and beverages, shuttle service to the airport, etc. Most importantly — it's CLEAN. Linens are fresh smelling, towels bright and soft, hair dryer and convenience travel soaps, and the TP isn't sandpaper ;o) There's a mini-fridge and microwave in the regular rooms, with enough cable channels to keep you occupied. Room rates are great for the area. They love government/military and AK residents. Just ask for their best rates, they readily offer you the lowest rate possible without haggling. This is the place we stay in Fairbanks.

We were accused of smoking in a room and we were charged $200 to an account that didn't even have $200 in the bank. I don't even smoke! I just recently stayed at this place for one night with my fiance'. We signed a piece of paper saying that we would be charged extra if there was smoking in the room. So we did not. He didn't even take his cigarettes into the room. He had to go out front to smoke. We where charged $200 dollars because someone said that the room reeked of smoke. If it did, it was not from us. A housekeeper could have smoked in there and blamed it on us. The people before us could have smoked in there and we couldn't smell it because we around it so much. I don't even smoke! I tried calling and cant seem to get a hold of the general manager. I keep leaving messages but its not helping. I plan to speak out about this in all the ways I can. What am I supposed to do? Sue them? I cant afford that! I think it is sick and wrong that they can accuse people of doing something that they did not do! Even if they found my fiance's cigarette butt in the room trash can, that was because there wasn't a place for him to throw it away out front or in the lobby. So if you stay here, you are risking being charged $200 rather you smoke or not.
