Yummy food at reasonable prices with a super friendly staff!

The Trophy Lodge is an excellent lodging accommodation in Delta Junction. The property is easy to access, had ample parking, is convenient to Ft Greely, local shopping, restaurants, and both major Alaskan highways to Tok or Glenallen. The daily buffet offers a variety of dining selections, highlighted by a weekly steak (Tuesday) and prime rib (Friday) services. Mike, the GM, and Chef is friendly, personable, and a great cook. His principal assistants in the kitchen, Fernes and Jason, make sure you don’t go hungry in Mike’s absence. There is an open bar with attentive and friendly bartenders and a pool table and bodacious pay-to-play music system… try the Trophy — you won’t be disappointed!

Very different experience than a hotel. When I arrived, the cook checked us in at the cafeteria register. The room was just big enough for the bed and nothing else. I met the manager while he sat at the bar with a drink watching football. Nothing bad, just different. The place was very clean and the food was good. Staff was personable. Place is good for where the guys go when the want to get away.

Great little spot in Alaska! The staff there is absolutely wonderful, food was amazing and drinks are even better. You won't find a more hospitable staff and location in the area! Thanks a lot for the memories, Randy!

Stopped here for the night after a hunt. Great place highly recommend.

Wish I could have given this place zero stars for customer service. My husband called to see if there were any rooms available and if pets were allowed. The man on the phone said no pets allowed, my husband let him know that his dog is a therapy dog and the man on the phone said "No pets allowed, I don't care" and hung up. My husband has served in the Army and did 3 tours over in Iraq. For this man on the phone to be that rude and cold is disrespectful and disgusting. I would never stay here nor would I tell anyone else to.

We were there at a very unusual time. I was able to book the room at the hotel (lodge) online for the first weekend in January 2018, but upon calling them, I learned that they weren't even open or operating during that time and they were surprised that we were able to make a reservation. However, they absolutely honored the reservation and we were able to go and stay. We didn't meet with anyone, but they told me prior to arrival which room it would be and that it would be open and the key would be inside with the invoice. So, I can't comment of the facilities or the staff because all interactions were by text 1-2 phone calls, but the fact that we could go, even though we were the only guests (actually the only people) on the property was a big plus. Our room was in front of the lodge in Mobile homes and the room was clean and everything well prepared. The site said the rooms were queens, but they were only twins. I'm almost 6' 5", the beds were the only negative on an otherwise pleasant stay. If I were to go back, I'd ensure a room with beds bug enough, if they have such a room.

The Trophy Lodge, located just outside of town, has good food and atmosphere.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good. The portions were to big for me. Only reason I didn't give 5 star was the latch on our room seemed to not function well.

This place is pure awesomeness! Mike always makes my husband and I feel welcomed. We came in 45 minutes before they began serving dinner and he still fed us! The food is soooo yummy! The meatloaf and salad bar are my favorites!

They overbooked and tried to put us in a single wide mobile home with 6 bedrooms and a shared bath instead of motel room with its own bath for the same price. Fortunately they let us look at the room before we paid. We passed.

Went on prime rib night. Food was really good. Had a nice salad bar. Fresh with many options. Restaurant was very clean. Chef was pleasant and welcoming. Dessert and drink included with meal. I will definitely go back.

Nothing skimpy about the food love it big portions it's a definite come eat.

Poor value for the dollar these days. $42 for Thin steak and 3 skinny crab legs. Daughter got 2 crab legs. Left hungry. Used to be regulars when Carlos was cooking (perfectly cooked sides). Probably last visit. Should have driven to turtle club like I considered :-/ 5 in our party and not a fat crab leg on the table.

This is a great place for the traveler. Clean rooms, bar and mess haul style dining that opens @ 5am. This Lodge will get you rested, fed and back on the rode!

The Trophy Lodge is without a doubt the BEST dining in Delta Junction, AK. Fantastic food and flavors, reasonably priced, and ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet style restaurant with plenty of sitting room for events while cozy enough for family suppers. Tuesdays and Fridays offer fine surf and turf like Prime Rib or King Crab, while other nights have a variety of Mexican food or home cooking like Corned Beef and cabbage and homestyle breads. Open for breakfast and suppers only — don't miss it!
