Love the kenai river lodge. Staff is amazing always clean. And the bar staff n drinks are amazing.

Great place to sit and have a drink while watching the action in the river and making new friends on the deck!

Beautiful view — not a full menu if you're hungry but they do have a small appetizer menu.

Arguably the best day time and night time bar staff in town. Drinks are made very well. Bartenders are seasoned. Atmosphere is comfortable with a classy vibe compared to any other bar around the Kenai. And you cannot beat the view.

Lots of fun fishing in the river right out the back door. The lounge is a great place to relax and meet up with friends.

Perfect room right on the water. Pet friendly, wild berries growing along the river. You can walk down to the river via a side gate where there are fish cleaning tables. Laundry facilities on site. Gorgeous views of the river. Freezers for your salmon catch to keep chilled. Scenic, serene.

I've never stayed the night here but I had a girls night out at the bar and the drinks were yummy. We ordered almost every appetizer that was on the menu and the food was good. The bar is no smoking but they have an awesome deck outside where you can smoke. We had a fun night here and I would come back!

The bartender was very very sweet and my work partner and I were able to get a lot of our work done because the atmosphere was so comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was also clean and smelled nice.

The room had a smell that was wet so we went and bought a candle. We were put right next to the bar and it sounded like they had a bowling alley in there. If the noise from the bar doesn’t keep you up the noise from the highway will. The tub and sink were stained. The line between homey and dumpy is hospitality and the staff isn’t even more friendly to make up for the conditions.

I am so glad I chose this hotel compared to where I stayed at last time I was in town. The awesome girl that checked me in was wonderful, she had called a couple days prior to ensure I was getting the type of room I requested (online booking site issue). I was well taken care of the whole visit, they helped me in a pinch with the laundry. Room was great! Beautiful view! Kinda wish I were back there now. Sigh. Maybe next year.

Nice live music for entertainment, band was friendly and interacted with the audience. Good service with frequent check in from the waitress. Nice fireplace for ambience and lots of TVs so all the games can be on at once. They are okay with bringing your own food in, or they serve a few types of appetizers. Good seasonal drinks.

We stayed in the suite room, it was nice and clean. The view of the river from our room was beautiful. If your an Alaskan resident don't forget to ask about your room discount. There's also a really nice bar lounge, the drinks were amazing. Overall we enjoyed the stay and will be returning this summer and recommend this place for everyone especially with children's.

Suite 201 was anything but a sweet room to stay in. Right next to the bridge was the equivalent of I-5 in Seattle. No air conditioning couldn't get the room under 75 to 80 degrees, unless you open the windows at night but then you couldn't endure the noise from the road. And all of the beautiful bay windows looking upon the river none of them open like all the other rooms so you can get the breeze off the water. They charged my credit card at the beginning of our stay so we couldn't divide the bill when we checked out and wouldn't credit and debit again like most Resorts I've stayed with, in the event they make that mistake. The furniture was pre 1960 which I can't imagine why in such a nice location and a lodge that is always full in terms of capacity with such a nice new bar you would think they would dedicate more Monies to the rooms to keep the clients happy. Really they just need to blow out those bay windows and put a deck there and a window AC unit and problem solved. Not sure what to do about the freeway conditions it is a booming place in the summer so I guess you have to take some bad with all the good. Love the location though. Bring your earplugs if you stay in this suite.

Simple and clean rooms.

This was my second year here but Daric and his brother Kelly have been coming here for 12 years. The staff is great and the rooms are nice but I can't speak so kindly about that dang walk back and forth up the hill all day, lol.

Absolutely the best lodge my husband and I have ever stayed in! Loved the view, the rooms & of course the wonderful staff! Nothing but the best! Prices are great and the over all quality was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Went for a couple drinks after work. Sat on the back balcony. Service was friendly and fast, drinks were well made. It was a bit chilly, so we were able to turn on the patio heater and sit by the fire pit. Very cozy and all around good experience. I'll be back again.

Price was right. Rooms were clean and in good shape… very cutely decorated, with the necessary basics (mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker). Although the location is right on the river, it's also right off the main hwy, right next to the bridge (river overpass). Which was convenient for travel and navigating around town, and fortunately not too noisy with traffic, but not the most eye appealing. Speaking of noise. You will here EVERY sound the guests staying above you or next to you make. Fortunately. Our neighbors were pretty mellow. So bring earplugs and eye mask, especially in summer. The lounge is fabulous, quite lively, cozy and even swanky. All in all. Decent place for the price (99$ per night, off season.

Great experience staying at the hotel, and the staff was outstanding. I spent a week up there last year fishing the Kenai. The hotel is located right on the river and you don't have to fight for places to fish, just walk from your room to the river. I had a great time and recommend it to anyone who wants a great place to stay while fishing the Kenai or any other place around there. Better make your reservations early though, as they fill up fast.

My wife and I visit from Anchorage pretty frequently and we're always on the lookout for a place to hang out in the evenings. The Bridge Lounge at the Kenai River Lodge is the place to be on a Friday or Saturday evening if you're looking for some nightlife. Had a great time!

My husband and I want to thank the staff of Kenai river lodge. We had business in Kenai. The trip from Anchorage was very rough for my husband since he is in a cast with a broken back. When we arrived at the lodge we found that the staff had upgraded us to a large suite at no extra cost. They offered us help at every turn. They could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The suite was warm and inviting, very clean. Being right on the river was so peaceful and we were minutes away from everything in town.

One of the best places in town to relax after a day of fishing. The new lounge has everything you could ask for and the bartenders are always there to make sure your glass is never empty.

This place rocks. My favorite lounge in town. The atmosphere is so comfortable and relaxed — the views are amazing. The staff gets a 5-star as well, they are so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!

Great, clean motel! They have a new bar overlooking the Kenai River. It is fantastic! The view is incredible. If u stay there u can fish from the bank that is 50 feet from your room. I highly recommend this place.

Rooms are clean, staff is awesome. The new bar is 5 star all the way. Fishing is off the hook.

Great place to come. Fishing from their property is awesome, and the folks are great also. I'd recommend it to anybody especially in July when the Sockeye are running. Book your rooms early as they go fast.
