Very enjoyable, clean, and spacious hotel! Love the pool… food was a little expensive to eat in the hotel but otherwise great!

Very clean. Great location. Terrific staff. Close to shopping and many restaurants.

Just experienced best customer service I have received in a long time. The staff was eager to rectify issues and very helpful. I will definitely be staying again.

May 10th 2019 visiting for graduation. Decided to take a shower. Stepped into the shower and fell. I hit my shoulder, knee butt and head… it was extremely slippery. Went to notify the front desk and all I got was. " sorry to hear that" no report of the incident. Maybe it's common. Nothing documented. I asked if they had bath mats and was informed no just towels. So make sure to put a towel in the tub from now on when visiting. Who puts a whole towel in the tub to take a bath or shower?

The women that check me in was very kind and found a room so we could check in early… very nice staff.

This property is very nice. Front desk folks friendly. Like that when you get to the room, thermostat is turned down so the room isn't HOT like a lot of hotels (some might not like it cold though). Stayed twice and both rooms were clean. Nice large and clean common area on the first floor, but didn't see many people taking atvantage of it (maybe no groups getting together to relax and chat while I stayed there).

The hotel was very nice. The room was very clean. The fridge was plugged in and cool. The bedding was clean. The room smelled fresh, it did not have a stale smell like it had been setting for a long time. Mattress and the sheets both were clean and showed no signs of staining. No bed bug or roaches. The staff was very friendly and welcoming even at 330 when we arrived. They held our room for a late check in, and it was really really late, some places dont like to that late. I definitely would stay again when I pass through and would recommend it to family and friends.

1 — One Receptionist (Shanell? ) is very, very rude. The manager Fred is very nice and goes above and behind. 2 — I stayed for 3 days, the pool was never clean. The gym never was stocked with towels or water. 3 — The request for room service and extra towels via the app was not working. 4 — The room was not clean it was just straightened up for early checkin. 5 — The barista did not wash her hands before making my smoothie. Everything was in containers so she did have to touch a lot, but the banana. She was scratching her red long braids and proceeded to cut the banana using her BARE thumb to guide the slices. I have stayed here two years in a row and it keeps getting worse and worse. Fred needs to get housekeepers and receptionist that will uphold the Marriott’s reputation/standards.

Made reservations at the beginning of July for a king room. Upon check-in, at the beginning of August, I was told they had given all of the king rooms away and we were going to be put in a double queen room. The gentleman was very nice, and although he could not lower the rate for me as he was not a manager, he gave me 2 breakfast vouchers and he would leave a note for the manager the next morning (Saturday). The following morning, I kept asking for a manager and the lady at the front just kept saying she wasn’t going to be in until “later”. Once Ivana came in, she heard about what happened but was not helpful at all. She wouldn’t lower the rate for us as “she had other people she had to turn away from giving rooms to”. She said she’d give us two breakfast vouchers again, yet we didn’t receive them. We also had friends that had made reservations a month prior as well for that Saturday night, and they told them they didn’t have any rooms because they overbooked themselves and they weren’t being helpful in coming up with a solution. Along with these issues, both of our key cards also stopped working Saturday morning, so we had to go to the front desk to get it fixed. Sunday, we went downstairs to grab some drinks, and to our luck, our key card didn’t work again when we went back up to our room. Customer service is no help at all. Everyone I dealt with was rude, besides the gentleman that checked me in.

Great for corporate travelers with an expense account who can write everything off. Not for families or retirees. Room was $98.00 and everything else was not included. No morning coffee no breakfast etc. Wonderful bed and room etc no complaints there.

Very nice. Friendly young lady at front desk.

Bar was jammin. Fire pit and patio outside was lovely. Staff were friendly. Had a blast.

No Continental breakfast no Wi-Fi the power went out in the middle of the night they don’t have enough parking I will never stay at this hotel ever again.

We loved room The only small issue we had was that they double stocked the conditioner and didn't put shampoo in the room. Otherwise everything was great. They room was immaculate.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean. Wi-Fi service was great. No on was there the first day for the breakfast, but otherwise a very pleasant stay.

No TV remote. Counter gave me a few more to try but none worked. Just inconvenient.

Place is nice and welcoming. Lobby is clean and great for studying.

Under remodeling construction so I asked for a very quiet room away from the work. Nit a beep and my bed is so comfortable. Nite Zzzzz.

This is the nicest hotel in Troy Alabama, rooms are updated and clean. The staff was very helpful during my stay.

Great place to shop very well kept And even notebook/phone table to sit at with power. People are so friendly. Prices are exceptional low. Can't go wrong. Lots of Specialty shops!

Great place with nice proximity to some local food and stores. My only complaint is that there were no luggage carts in the lobby area when we checked in so we had to carry all our stuff by hand.

I just want to thank everyone here for there kind service. I didn't get the man name that checked us in Saturday night. He was very nice. Tyler this morning went above and beyond for me. I just want to thank you for letting us bring our fur baby here. That means, a lot. I truly want to thank you for your kind service and the room are kept beautiful. I hope Irma is as nice to us when we get back home to Florida Sandra DOLL and family.

We arrived late at night but check in was smooth and fast. Room was quiet and clean. I would stay here again.

This place is very nice. Probably the best hotel in Troy, Alabama. Clean! No free breakfast, but they do have a Bistro on property with numerous menu items, pizzas, beer, cocktails, etc. They also have several great lounge areas with nice TV's. The horrific beds at Super8 pushed me here and I couldn't be happier! ;)

Beautiful lobby, several restaurants within walking distance, room was clean and well-furnished. Great place to stay!

Staff was very polite and very helpful. They did everything in their power to be prompt and attentive, and when we arrived around midnight, there was a mix up with the reservation, but they corrected it post-haste. The pool was questionable, though, but no stars off for that.

It was about 50 of us that went from Atlanta for the Tuck/Smith wedding. The customer service was wonderful, the check-in was easy and the house keeping was great. Everything and everybody was very courteous and friendly. Best stay ever and with comfort. Will definitely go back and will also recommend anyone.

Friendly staff. Within walking distance to grocery stores and plenty of restaurants. Can't say much about the facilities as I didn't use them, but the rooms were more than adequate for our needs.

Super nice hotel for a small town. Great deal off Priceline to stay here too. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely horrible customer service! There was a misunderstanding with the room reservation between Marriott and Expedia. Thomas at the front desk told us we just needed to cancel through Expedia and he could book us directly through Marriott for a single room with 2 beds. After much frustration and multiple phone calls to and from Expedia, the reservation was confirmed that it was booked correctly. All to then be told the room we were promised was not available. Not only were we not given a room but we were blatantly lied to! The manager (Stan) and corporate were called but nobody seemed interested in helping us! Needless to say we are now staying at the Best Western!

The bed was very soft. Not particularly what I prefer, but those who enjoy a soft need would be in heaven. The pillows were actually larger than throw pillows, which I did appreciate. Everything was clean and the decor was modern.

Nice facilities, on the surface. My only issue with this particular location is unless you are on the 3rd floor, be prepared to get awakened every morning due to noises from the floors above you. I stayed on the 2nd floor and could feel and hear myself walking. Sounded like a constant parade every day but especially bad earlier in the day. I spend half of each month in a Marriott hotel, 1st time experiencing this unpleasantness.

Thomas at check-in was awesome, very friendly young man and was the best part of our experience at this location. The room was nice and the stay began well. That's until 1:30AM when the guest in the room above us checked in or arrived back to their room. We could hear their every footstep (sounded like stomping). Soon they settled down but they were earlier raisers, up at 5:00 AM. They showered at around 5:20 AM, went down to breakfast around 6:00 for 20 minutes. In the mean time the couple next to us wake up and we have listening to them talk ever since. As I write this review, it is an orchestra of noise around this room. So if you are not a HEAVY sleeper (sleep through a tornado), which I normally am. This is not a hotel for you. Just got off the phone with the manager (very pleasant) who offered to add additional awards points to our account. We'll see how it works out.

5 stars because of the proximity to the Mexican restaraunt across the street. Highly recommend.

Courtyard Marriott in Troy had good service. Comfortable beds. Good service. Good air conditioning and overral good experience.

The lobby was very nice. The room was spacious. The outlets however were too big to use.

The room was nice and the beds were really comfortable. The problem is that all of the other hotels that I have stayed at offer a free breakfast and this one doesn't. Maybe it's a Mariot policy, but Windham hotels offer a free breakfast for a cheaper room price.

The hotel is decent, but this time I stayed here the room was disgusting. There was peaces of food on the couch and the floor had not been vacuumed. I don't think they really clean the rooms before each guest arrives.

Worst experience at a hotel I have ever had. DO NOT deal with FRED. Don't try to stay at the Hampton Inn either. FRED handles that hotel as well. The Motel 8 down the road would probably LOVE your business and do a better job than this place. Brought a group here, tried to kick us out of our rooms early saying they "needed those rooms for others checking in. " When we agreed to pay a half day, they backed off and said it should be fine. The breakfast was terrible. Our meal was cold and poorly prepared. NEVER have I taken a travel party to a hotel and had this issue. Corporate Courtyard should be ashamed. We will NEVER stay at a Courtyard again with this type of service. The ladies at the front seemed nice, but FRED doesn't know how to run a hotel. This place is a joke. DON'T WASTE your time or MONEY! Truly an AWFUL experience.
