If you stay here, bring your own towels 🤦🏻‍♀️😡 Super obnoxious to come back at the end of a super long day and not only not have the room cleaned, but also not able to find a single fresh towel in the entire hotel.

Air conditioning didn’t work nor the telephone. No vacancies so we couldn’t be moved. Never staying again!

Very nice staff and very welcoming!

This is my first stay here at this location. This stay was not planned and totally unexpected. I was on my way to Florida with my three girls for our Disney trip they all three suddenly got very sick. I stopped by so many hotels within 3-4 hours trying to find a safe, clean and friendly place for them to rest. After hours of trying I found this one and so happy that I did. I explained to the lady at the front desk what was going on and she showed so much compassion for me and kept asking if I needed help or anything at all. It has been such a pleasant experience in the short time we have been here despite the circumstances. It definitely brightened the situation drastically. This location is so clean and breakfast was delicious!

We have stayed there twice in the last couple of months to attend functions at Troy University. Both times we had excellent service… especially from Amanda Dickey on one visit and Cassandra Campbell on another. We will definitely stay there whenever we are in Troy.

Nice hotel but hotels. Com messed up my reservation, I got it fixed but then I was charged for a balance. Then I called today they were very nice said they would credit it back to me but instead they deducted the same amount, been trying to call between 2:41 till now and still cannot get anyone, same repetitive automated message that tries to transfer me to front desk but loops back to the automated message. Not very happy with the entire situation.

We have stayed here before our visit today. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and professional. My only suggestion is “ when their is a large group of high school kids staying at the hotel, do not put other guests right in the middle of the chaos. Well after 11pm and then at 6:30am. Going home so I can get some rest.

I won’t stay anywhere else when traveling. Always a clean comfortable room! Thank you!

I would not recommend this property. The room smelled of mildew. The bathroom was not clean. The bathtub did not work. The TV channels did not work. There were ants in the room. And the price was higher than usual due to University move-in day. Need I say more?

Not sure where the reviews of this being a good hotel, that is not the experience I had to endure. My family reserved an entire floor to house family members for a family reunion in July. I don’t usually write reviews for the simple reason never wanted to waste my time. To start, rooms were being double booked, some family members reservation got lost in the system. The smell in some of the rooms was awful, the smell was so bad some family members got sick and they had no rooms available no where in Troy, Alabama so had to endure the smell and according to the maids something got into the vents and died and that was the smell and also said management knew about the rooms and booked the rooms anyway, the beds had dirty sheets and this is according to the maids. I’m so disappointed because I have stayed at the Best Western (not this particular one) many of times and have had the best stay. This time was the worst and I will not stay here again and I’m sure I speak for my family members, and shall I add there was about 30-35 family members or more.

Best service I've received in a long time. Southern hospitality at its best! Breakfast was very good as well. One negative if a pool is important to you. This pool is indoors and not heated. We stayed 3 days in 100 degree weather. One dip and my grand babies teeth were chattering. Did not get back in.

Front desk staff was great! Room was comfortable. Biggest drawback is the bathroom floor was filthy. Many hairs all over including some personal hairs. If they get their housekeeping in better order it would help this place a lot because otherwise it was very good.

This place & our experience would be a 5 star if our room 222 would have been dusted! Very dusty! I thought they were supposed to clean that? Bothered my allergies the whole time. Also, the first floor is cool & comfortable but the second floor is uncomfortably warm! No AC going in the hallway & the room is way to warm. Woke up sweating every night & slept with just a thin sheet or nothing at all. The temperature couldn't be adjusted in the room & it didn't run constantly plus didn't blow hard enough to cool the entire room in the first place! Gym had no AC either. Not sure if they just don't believe in proper cooling or if they were having problems! The AC & dust made the experience uncomfortable but besides that everything else was awesome! Wouldn't hurt to add some variety, like bacon, to the breakfast menu daily. We would recommend if you don't mind dust (maybe it was just our room that was dusty but housekeeping did come in once & it still wasn't dusted) & if you don't mind sweating (maybe they'll fix the issue)! We'd go back in hopes the problems were solved! Also, parking is limited. When you get there at night you are very lucky to find a spot at all.

Location is conveniently located, with restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful, and free breakfast is always nice! Room was clean and comfortable. All around, a good stay.

Good place to stay for a quick one night stopover. It was clean and fairly quiet. The staff was also very friendly. My only complaint was that we arrived around midnight and the parking lot was totally full. We finally managed to get in the last spot between a large truck and a trailer and we could barely open our doors to get out of the car.

Outstanding hotel with an awesome staff. The room was very clean and inviting. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Troy.

The hotel is very nice and clean and comfortable. The food is great. Only thing is the price. Still expensive.

If you plan on eating breakfast don’t stay at this hotel. Breakfast ends at 930 and it’s 9 and they are out of everything and refuse to make any more eggs, sausage biscuits because it’s too close to closing time. Also no more muffins or pancake mix. Absolute joke and rude staff that hardly can speak English. Next time will stay down the road for half the price and will get a breakfast and better service. Not recommended. Multiple customers have asked for more food all to be shunned away. Would have been better saving $37+tax a night at Quality Inn as this place is no better. In a positive note Amanda at the front desk was very nice and helpful as we checked in and out.

With a little more polish, this could be a top facility. I found the beds to be nice, rooms large and comfortable. The dining area, pool and workout areas are all well-maintained. They are a little lax on floor cleaning and proper supplies in the room. Clearly, this is a no smoking facility, but staff likes to light up at the front door and you have to walk through that to enter the hotel. Food could be served at a warmer temp to avoid problems. I did report these problems and got a so so response from the desk staff. Hopefully, management will address these issues in order to have a better review.

Elevator was in extreme need of repair. It sounded like a Foghorn every time it went from the first floor to the second floor. Our room was 220, attached to the elevator wall. Terribly noisy. We asked for a different room and was told that we would have to pay $50 more for that convenience of being able to sleep. It would have been good business 2 simply put us in a room where a person could at least sleep without any additional cost. Shame on the staff or not making that decision and shame on the owner if that is all they ask their employees to do business. The parking lot was tore up so there wasn't convenient places to park. At one point there was no one at the front desk to check in two different parties waiting in line while he went off site to get food for himself. Terrible experience.

When you are woke up at 4:00am due to the front desk/kitchen person banging pans around and hitting the wall and it scares the heck out of you at first, it gets a little frustrating.
Then when I went go to ask what was going on and he is laughing at you and says
“ I didn’t scare you. ” “ I didn’t wake you up. ” And then turned the light out on me and walked away.
Not even an “ I am sorry. ”
I have been up traveling all day we checked in about 8:30pm just wanted to sleep and we get woke up around 4:00am due to someone being loud and uncaring.
How rude and unprofessional.

We have stayed here several times, it is always clean, friendly, with a good breakfast.

Today wraps up our 5th stay at the Troy's Best Western. Our first trip we stayed at a different hotel and were not pleased with the cleanliness of the room or attitudes of the staff. We were treated as more of an inconvenience then a guest. I am so glad we decided to give Best western a try on our 2nd trip. We love it! Great price, Nice hotel, clean rooms, well lit and safe parking and we have had nothing but the best service from all the staff we've been in contact with. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Several staff members, Casey, Carly, Sherri and Jennifer even remember me from prior stays and that's a great feeling! Breakfast facilities are clean and they have a great selection of breakfast food available for their guest. We will be back, of course and look forward to our next stay with you! Thank you for making us feel at home when we stay!

This is an absolutely fantastic place to stay! The rooms have recently been renovated and everything is super clean. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was great! The have a huge selection of items to choose from! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody!
