Everyone we had contact with was very nice! The food was great, the drinks were awesome! The atmosphere was always laid back! We were there for a wedding and everything was excellent!

Although the resort is extremely beautiful, I have never encountered such rude front end staff in my life. I don't know how they expect guests to feel appreciated when these girls would be as nasty as to laugh in the face of several guests in my presence. The bar staff was great, the gentlemen assisting with the water activities were excellent, even the house keeping staff were pleasant and welcoming. But the people who's job it is to show the guest the most service failed horribly. Very sad they would allow these girls, as unprofessional as they are, to have any contact with guests who have traveled the world just to be met with extreme rudeness. My family and I will never revisit this resort. They absolutely left a damper on our entire vacation.

Good resort, Priced well, good atmosphere. Room includes washer and dryer for washing beach clothes, they also give you laundry detergent every day you stay. Well kept, clean room with a memory foam mattress. Water pressure was pretty low and our tub took a while to drain, could easily fill up the tub while trying to shower. Pools were closed pretty much the whole stay, the main pool opened on our last day here but the beach access and proximity was well worth it. Bar was nice, Restaurant is overpriced and mediocre but overall it made for a wonderful stay for my family in Turks and Caicos!

Really friendly staff and clean rooms. We had a balcony looking at the water and really enjoyed that. Prices are a little higher in Turks than some other destination so for the price it is a nice place, but somewhere else I'd expect to pay less for the room type.

If I could give this place a negative star, I would. I stayed here March 15th through March21, 2018, and had the worst experience that I have ever had in the Caribbean. I arrived from NYC at 1:00 p. M. And was told that since check-in is at 3:00, my room wasn’t ready. I was offered a drink of canned juice in a plastic cup, and told to wait at the restaurant (the lobby has one chair that was occupied). I wasn’t hungry and didn’t want to sit at an establishment where I wasn’t ordering anything. So, I went to the pool area. The chaise cushions are filthy, stained with sun lotion and God knows what else. Also, at that time of day, there was little shade. So, I sat on the ground under a gazebo and waited. After an hour and a half, at 2:30, I went back to the front desk. Still, the room wasn’t ready. The woman kept parroting that check-in was at 3:00. So, the fact that the guest had already arrived, had been traveling since 6:00 a. M. And had waited for an hour and a half, didn’t make any difference to this hospitality establishment. It certainly didn’t make cleaning that particular room a priority. I waited in the lobby an additional 15 minutes. Finally, the woman at the front desk deigned to check me in and give me a room key. The porter arrived and we started our trek to the room. The key he used didn’t work at the first door. He tried a second room; again, the key didn’t work.

Had a GREAT week in Turks & Caicos. The Royal West Indies was really nice. Stayed in building 2 and had unbelievable views of the beach and amazing turquoise ocean. The pool and restaurant/bar were both close by and we had lots of fun there as well. This place isn't super fancy but it's really well maintained, the grounds are beautiful and it's on one of the best stretches of beach in the world.

The property is clean and beautifully maintained. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed to make our stay as convenient as possible when away from home. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. There were only a couple of things during our stay that could have been better. No one ever answers at the front desk when you call down with a problem. A couple of times we had to walk down and talk to the staff in person and then they are prompt and helpful. We were without water for one evening and through the night but had water the next morning. All and all it was a great place to stay and we would definatly stay here again.

The most beautiful beach, restful and nice people.

It's a nice small but neat resort fronting one of the better parts of grace Bay beach. Unfortunately it's next to club med so expect some late night screaming…

Drone buzzing above right now ruining an amazing sunset and covering the sound of the waves. They're not illegal and there's always at least one. Shame. The hotel is one of the best and most affordable. The sea view is spectacular. The Pelican Bay is one of the best restaurants.

Beautiful place. They've recovered very well from the hurricane. The grounds are well maintained. The staff is genuinely friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. I would give them a 5th star if they offered an All Inclusive option. Overall I had an awesome time.

Very disappointing first and last visit to this property. Our first time visiting TC with kids and we booked an ocean view suite, paid an upcharge just for the view. Upon checking in I made sure that I was getting what I paid for only to find out that we had a 2% ocean peek hidden behind the trees and the scaffolding which was blocking all Windows. When I called the front desk, the female manager on duty rudely told me that my room is considered ocean view and that I can take it up with my travel agent (Expedia in this case). To make matters worse, the construction workers start hammering 7am even on the weekends, why put us in a building with work going on? Couldn't open blinds because workers ganging around on scaffolding. Beautiful beaches but no one tending the towel hut, no drinks available or any decent excursions offered. Only one restaurant on the property (food and service average). Rooms are average with hair on bed sheets and pillows. The sofa bed was broken and wobbly with no pillows. Very disappointing stay. TC is otherwise a beautiful destination with the most amazing beaches, crystal clear water, fantastic local restaurants serving fresh sea food.

We loved our stay here. The staff is great!

Beautiful landscaping, clean serene ocean view suites (stayed in studio, perfect for couples) and relaxing, but fun to be had if you want — patio/pool-side bbq with live musician, watersport supplies available, amazing sunsets and endless hours to be had enjoying the clean aquamarine waters of the Atlantic. Very personable, friendly and helpful staff ncluding the master landscaper who it turns out is quite the historian. More affordable than other resorts on the island.

We booked through the owner but still had access to resort amenities except housekeeping. It was a nice room with a kitchenette and great a/c plus a ceiling fan. Our room (324) had a view of one of the pool that is next to the resort restaurant The pelican bay. We only had a peek a boo view of the beach. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

Great acommodations, great for a getaway to do absolutely nothing.

Be cautious booking here. The customer service is terrible. We booked two rooms for the holiday and had to cancel. We cancelled a month and a half before arriving (when we booked they were not in a Zika zone but that changed, so our travel plans did as well), they gave us SO much hell over deposit refunds and ultimately agreed to a refund for half of the deposit and then a credit for the rest. Here we are months later and my parents have booked a room to use the credit and guess what? They will not honor it. I am being told that we forfeited our credit when we cancelled our reservation. HUH? It's terrible that they don't try and work with a customer who cancelled (well within the cancellation window) but is trying to come back to the hotel. It's ridiculous and not to mention they have the worst attitudes, just so rude. I can't imagine it's much better once you are there. Be careful when booking here, the people are the worst!

We feel so lucky to have found this resort. The lush pool area provided beauty, and privacy if you wanted it. The beach was gorgeous. Rooms were clean, with convenient kitchen area. Staff was polite. Experience was awesome. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Love the place and would stay there every time. Very quaint and quiet, beautiful seclusion, not like a big hotel. The pools are super relaxing and there's one for adults with the fountains and complete relaxation with a really nice outside bar and grill for drinks and food. Also very convenient ride your bike into town for other places to eat and we had a ball there. We had a beachfront two bedroom with the kitchen which was amazing. Very reasonably priced.

Food, Staff, location, prices are all great… Amazing experience, couldn't ask for more… Don't waste your time or money anywhere else…

This resort is fabulous! We will stay there again and again. Complimentary kayaks, paddle boards, bikes! Great happy hour every night and music several times a week. Super close to shops. Clean, beautiful grounds, great service!

TCI is my Love, RWI Resort was my home for 3 years. We were very happy there. So lovely place, magical sea and view, and conch, interesting meals. Everythink, everytime will always be in my heart!

Just traveled here and was upset about the hotel's service. Never will I stay at this hotel again. It was one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been too, however the staff and service at the hotel was sub par. You have to wait for the bartenders to make the drinks at their convience and they give you attitude, but when it comes to paying the check and getting a tip it's the first thing that try to do. I had to complain to management twice is two days about the service. Now they tried making up for it with a free drink; which I never received from management either. The rooms are average and the lounge the chairs on the beach and pool too. Again, if your looking for a nice relaxing get away with great service, I would come to this beach however not this hotel. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

I am writing from RWI resort right now. My reason for only 3 stars is at the bottom. Love the bright, spacious room, full size fridge with freezer, large balcony. Free use of bicycles, kayaks, paddle board, towels, are all pluses. The food at the restaurant on site is very good; I am In Love with their fish tacos! Great live music a couple of nights so far too. It's a smaller resort so for sure it's not crowded and easy to get a chair and umbrella on the beach. The only negatives are big ones: The people who work here almost to a man are completely unfriendly, disengaged, curt, and basically uninterested in the field called Hospitality. To simply say we've got bad service in the restaurant doesn't sum it up; yesterday I asked 4 times for a glass of water (my partner had already asked twice) of our server. We remained courteous and respectful… 'say could we please have that glass of water soon? ' as to not reflect how much we were aware of his inaction. One woman at the front desk was helpful with directions and insights. Others not so much. Very odd and unfortunate.

Great location on the beach. A little walk to the shops and entertainment areas. I would love to go back.

Great place. Clean and very family friendly.

We spent five days at RWi with my three daughters. We had a 1BR unit facing the quiet pool which needed an extensive upgrade. The bathroom shower and faucet did not work well. When turning on the shower both the shower and faucet came on splashing water from both ends There was never enough hot water for five, after two people taking a shower the rest had to take cool showers. There were so many mosquitoes in the unit that we spent most of the night killing them. The kitchen granite was glued together and it looked gross. The sofa bed and the rollaway bed needed to be replaced as the springs came through the mattress. In addition, the noise from club Med was completely distracting in the evening. Given the cost of this room, the accommodations were below subpar for a five day vacation. The beach was beautiful and activities a plus, but the staff were far from friendly.

Just visited for the third straight year. My wife and I love the resort! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is very good and on the poolside which makes it a great place for lunch. The beach is one of the world's best, if not the best. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for use every day and you don't have to worry about holding your chairs if you go for a walk. Access other hotel restaurants along the beach. I know we will be back again!

Royal West Indies Resort is one of the best deals available on Grace Bay. While it's not the most upscale resort on the bay, it's in a great location, and the rooms are very bright and comfortable. The restaurant restaurant is good if not outstanding, and the drinks are nice and strong. Occasionally they'll have a jerk cookout right on the beach which is definitely a treat! The beach is, of course, the star of the show at RWI, and I was very pleased with the allocation of chairs. Some resorts don't have enough chairs for all of the guests, and there ends up being fights for reserving chairs, etc. Not at RWI. Additionally, there's a nice variety of water sports equipment that's all free and fun. It doesn't have as much programmed activity as some other spots, but RWI is so comfortable and affordable that it should absolutely be on your short list of Grace Bay resort candidates.

Great location, a friendly staff, stunning scenery, and delicious food and drinks made this a fantastic stay for my wife and I. I'd highly recommend it.

I booked a stay in Royal Wast Indies resort for my 9 y. O. Son and I this past August 24 — 27th. Due to tropical storm Cristobol, the airport in Providenciales was closed on the 24th. Customer service for RWR said that they could not refund my hotel — not even part of it. They asked if I could come in "a few days". I said that was impossible, because I'd booked the flight 2 months in advance and couldn't afford the now more expensive plane ticket, plus I had to be at work. They said I could have until 11/22/2014. Trouble is, I started a new job in October, and I don't have any PTO. Not only that — even if I did have leave, the flights are more expensive and less frequent in November. Plus, starting the new job, I didn't have a lot of time to research it. Long story short — I feel that Royal West Indies stole my money. They could have given me until next August 24th to use the hotel stay I paid for. That's when I'll be able to afford it AND have time off. Even US Airways refunded my plane ticket when they saw that the Providenciales airport was closed on the 24th. I'm sure it is a nice resort, but their customer service in Canton, MA is greedy, therefore I would not recommend this resort. Travelocity itinerary was 166303496941 in case RWR would like to get back to me to rectify this somehow. I have a feeling it was more the customer service rep didn't know what upper management would have really wanted to do for this situation.

Very relaxing setting, easy access via car to terrific snorkeling right off the beach. Safe location, not isolated. Nearby are restaurants and recently opened shopping area for food, beverages, and other essentials. Evening sunsets are stunningly beautiful.

So much better than the hustle of the "beaches" resorts! Friendly staff and everyone is always willing to help.

Royal West Indies is easily the most romantic resort on the island, uplifting the island's natural beauty to an even higher level. The interior of the resort is a huge garden of bright flowers, exotic trees, bridges over beautiful pools, and even a rock desert. At night, you can take a relaxing walk through the gardens lit by soft foot lighting. Relaxing is basically the only thing you can do at this resort. If you like quiet, and I mean quiet, this is the resort for you. Both pool areas are very laid back with only a few people laying out. There is no spa or fitness center, and few extra amenities that the larger resorts have. The beach is amazing, but then thats true for all of the resorts in Provo. Guests can rent an ocean kayak at no cost, or sail boat if you know how to sail. The one bedroom suite was more than spacious and including a living room, full kitchen, and decent size bathroom and bedroom. It was very clean and modern, but not super luxorious.
