Review of Eftalia Holiday Village 5*

On arrival at our hotel at 12:30 AM we were met by the night manager who asked for our passports and told to sit down and we would be called upon load more guests arrived and were dealt with straightaway so I went back up and asked why I hadn't been dealt with soon after we where told to go and wait outside for the bellboy to show us our room when my family and I got to the room and went inside I was instantly met with ants in the bedroom dirty pillowcases and the ants where going from the doorway to the vent in the fridge I opened the fridge to find nothing at all in there and as we are all inclusive this was disgusting so I went back down to the reception to complain and ask for another room when I told him there were ants in our bedroom he just said and? We were giving another room but when we got there there was Half bottles of water in the fridge two empty glasses on the windowsill and no drawer handles on the drawers as by this timeit was 230 in the morning and we have to meet the rep at 8 AM we decided to just go to bed the next morning we went down to meet the rep as all the family did. The rep was on his phone he then started arguing on the phone and slammed his hand down on the table and startled everybody in the room I said to the wife this is a good start of a holiday then on the second day we all went for breakfast and were met by chips vegetables salad this was in the main restaurant in the outside restaurant there was pancakes Fried eggs and omelettes I guess you can guess what I lived on for the two weeks breakfasts the dinner time menu and the evening menu where not much better don't get me wrong the waiters and bar staff were very polite and I always tipped the waiter my problem is with the very rude and anti-British reception staff there is nothing on the complex on a night for children and adults to be precise you have to walk down to the beach for any type of Entertainment which was absolute rubbish all icecreams in the complex have to be paid for at four lira or one euro you got them free on the beach but only up to 4 PM The slides of the complex were great for the kids and so were they down the island don't get me wrong the hotel looked absolutely stunning but it's the after-care I saw many of complaint dealt with go away English people which again is absolutely shocking so my family and I know several families and us will never come here again and I will be putting an official complaint in to the jet2holidays company.
