Everything, in principle, is not bad. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable.
But the owners do not invest in the content, much that is broken (we, for example, was torn off the faucet), the rooms are microscopic, lunch in the basement and monotonous.
If you need a hotel to fall asleep, that's it. Finicky may not like it.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and the view from the rooftop was great. Also very close to a lot of major attractions.

Great little relatively new hotel. Modestly, but there is a uniqueness-the hosts are ready to fill the room every day with new smells) while the hotel is not far from the historic center of the city, it is in a quiet location and there is no loud music, as well as shouts, zavlekajushhih to restaurants and Shops. From the top veranda as on a palm it is perfectly visible the Marmara Sea, in the opposite side it is well visible Aya Sofya, and on the third side quite near the wall of Topkapi Palace.

Very beautiful and spacious rooms for funny money, a cool roof terrace overlooking the sea.
Of the minuses-no elevator, but things always help to bring to the room. The receptionists are very friendly, constantly trying to help something, tell about the city, museums. In English they speak well.
There is a very tasty bar-restaurant nearby.

A nice hotel in historical peninsula of Istanbul, with an excellent location and helpful staff.

Well decoreted old Ottoman house. Very colse to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazzar. The staff Çetin is very polite and make your trip to Istanbul enjoyable. Sea facing rooms with breathtaking views of Marmar and cityscape of Istanbul are very relaxing and comfortable after a day long trip going around Istanbul. Good place to live in for a short stay and enjoy Istanbul.

Reception is excellent, speaks good English, gives good advise. All you need from a local guide.

Really strategic location, next to the palace, and mosque. Clean and nice.

The rooms are small, some with the bed attached to the wall, although very clean, but for that price there are better options. You can hear the steps above. Breakfast is a little varied and repetitive. There is no natural juice or tortilla or scrambled, only hard boiled egg.

I had a very nice stay in Esans. Great place with a fabulous location and very friendly and cooperative staff. I strongly recommend Esans for those who are looking for a nice place with cheap price.

One of the best value for money hotels I have ever seen. Nice room, extremely helpful and friendly staff and amazing location. When I visit again Istanbul I will stay there for sure.

Staff are friendly. Night guy was new and had no idea what to recommend for an evening restaurant because he said he didn't know the area. Wifi kept not connecting on certain floors. Rooms were fine. Lots of little touches make it better than a typical budget hotel and the sea view from the 3rd floor as well as the terrace seal the deal. Breakfast plentiful but not nearly as tasty as it looks. Still an excellent value.

Before we continue our journey here, when is the ANZAC commemorative quarter (Anzac=Australia and New Zealand Army Corps), in fact, a little late, but we were caught up. My partner and I had a good time here, our room was bright, clean and comfortable, very spacious. Staff were very friendly, the location of the hotel is very good, breakfast is on the top floor to eat, overlooking the sea and the Asian side of the landscape.

This hotel is great! The rooms were spacious and clean, it's only a short walk to the main tourist attractions (Topkapi, Hagia Sopia, Blue Mosque, etc), and the staff is absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was great and they make different hot specialties each day in addition to an assortment of sweets, meats, and vegetables, omelets, and fresh squeezed pomegranate and orange juices. Breakfast is served on the enclosed terrace (there's a few tables outside too) which has a stunning view of the Bosphorous. I would give ten stars if I could because the service is first rate. The only drawback is there is no lift so you will climb the stairs every day, but Istanbul is full of hills and stairs anyway, so it really didn't make a difference to us plus the staff insists on carrying your bags up and down anyway. On one occasion, we got a little lost finding our way back to the hotel and they guided us back by phone and had a fresh pot of Turkish tea waiting when we got back to help us relax after a stressful evening. I can't say enough great things about the service here. You're honestly missing out if you don't include Esans in your stay in Istanbul.

This is a lovely hotel with a great location in a lovely area which is close to most tourist attraction places around. Staff are so friendly and supportive with a great customer service manner. I recommend this hotel to people those who want to go Istanbul and have a lovely holiday or business in a good family hotel with friendly staff. Hamid.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for 5 days and I never felt this much comfortable in any other hotel. This lovely hotel is very closed to Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace and Hagiasofia just 4-5 minutes on foot also very easy to reach other main areas. The rooms are decorated very elegantly in Ottoman style and kept spotless during our stay. Breakfast is so wide Turkish& continental and I specially loved the cookies, patisseries freshly made by lovely lady. And last but most important staffs are pleasant, knowledgable and with an excellent command of English they were all very helpfull. I highly recommend this hotel superb place to explore Istanbul.
