Jungle Gym & Ecolodge Hostel

I give it 1 star for the opening hours. Worst condition gym I have ever seen. Not worth 1 baht. Sorry. Goto to the one in Thongsala instead.

Very clean lodge, great staff, Wifi works everywhere and its was really quiet but very close from most of the action in the island. The Gym is also great and you can have yoga or thai boxing lesson every day.

Awesome staff. Full Gym, with bomb protein shakes. Secret pool and beach, with a sunset view. What more can you ask for? Banana pancakes with nutella? They have it, too ;) Thanks for everything.

Amazing people and amazing experience!

Stayed here for 5 nights over full moon party period and we loved it… best location so close to the full moon party beach and was lovely to come home to a quiet and peaceful place after a night out… Marissa the owner was like our mum and took amazing care of us and always made sure we were safe, and Tara was so helpful in every way from the minute we arrived… rooms and facilities were spot on aswell, highly recommend!

We recently stayed here for four nights and LOVED it! The rooms were perfect, really clean and with great AC! The lodge had a really relaxed vibe to it which we loved and had access to a hugeeee pool! We stayed during the full moon party and the lodge was the perfect location! About a 5 minute walk to Haad Rin beach but also not too close to get a peaceful nights sleep if needs be! The staff were so helpful especially Tara! I had a little scooter accident and she couldn't do enough for us to make our stay as easy as possible! We will most definitely be back next time we're in Koh Phangan!

We´ve been a group of seven guys celebrating full moon and we had a really great time, especially because the accomodation was excellent and Marissa and Chris were absolutely lovely, understanding and hospitable.
The rooms a perfectly clean and the beds are very comfortable, nothing to complain here :-) The hostel is located not far from Haad Rin (5 minutes walk) but far enough to catch a silent and good sleep.
We didn´t use the gym at all but if you´re into fitness sports you´ll have good opportunities to work out.
Thanks you two for everything! We had an amazing time and we´ll definately come back when we´re back in Ko Phangan!

It you are looking for a super chilled out well equipped accommodation in Koh Phagnan then this is it. Super friendly owner and deputy. Super soft beds, AC, individual bed light, super relaxed place. Gym is great a bit dated but clean, well kept and all kit works great. Close to everything. Top recommend stay.

I came to the island for a 3 day island hop on my backpacking travels, ended up staying for 7 weeks! This was down to the jungle gym being such a kick ass place to stay and the owner Marissa being such a kick ass woman this is now my second time back on the island and back at jungle gym. The staff at the ecolodge are now a second family, we have a laugh together, all cook and eat together, and the recommendations on places on the island are awesome. Best place in Thailand to stay. And it's all down to our island mother, Marissa!

Marissa and Chris were absolutely lovely! They gave us all the key information about the island and how to stay safe during the full moon parties. I would highly encourage anybody who is coming to Haad Rin to stay here; I also partook in a Muay Thai training session with Raul which was quite affordable and very thorough. The people who stay there are also incredibly friendly, the location is also off the main pathway so you won't have to deal with any noise or issues. And as other people are mentioning, there's a lovely pool, and fantastic shakes. I would make an effort to get to know all the people who work there, each person has a unique and incredible background which I definitely think is worth hearing.

Amazing hotel right by haid rinn beach however is still in a quite peaceful location. Lots of activities to get involved in, the banana shakes are also the best on the island ☺️ Good price for nice clean rooms and the staff are fabulous. We were only going to do 4 nights and ended up doing 10! Really do recommend this place. Swimming pool was beautiful and clean to! ☺️ I was very happy with this part of my travels.
