We just love everything about Samui Garden Home. The staff and so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Grand Villa II is beautiful, spacious and pretty well equipped and the setting is stunning (traffic noise may be an issue for some, but we soon found we didn’t notice it) The beach is secluded and peaceful with a gentle gradient into the sea.

In terms of price/quality, a little overstated in my opinion. In the same price range there are more steep and comfortable apartments.

Rooms are nice but location is bad. The road is noisy, beach is dirty and the place is 5 km from Lamai beach. Hotel doesn't mention, that they are building something and the building is in front of the rooms. Buildingsite is very noisy from 8am till 5pm. Staff is helpful, speaks only a little english. They are trying their best. Pool is ok.

Cosy bungalows with kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and clean bathroom. There are two separate terraces which is definitely a big plus (not only for smokers. ). Minus is only the main street's traffic on day time (at night acceptable). And yes, the swimming pool is another plus!

Lived in this hotel for a month. First tried to book it on the booking or Agoda, but there was only one bedroom Bungalow, and the wife wanted a Bungalow with a separate bedroom. So I wrote a letter directly to the hotel. After correspondence had booked a two bedroom Bungalow, paid the down payment. Bargain with the receptionist Muay, turned out cheaper than booking. Electricity took a Deposit of 5000 baht. There rented a car (a Mitsubishi van) for 12, 000 baht/month. Lived in Bungalow No. 13 (this is the second Bungalow from the reception). The room was clean for our arrival Muay bought cake (daughter's birthday). Air conditioning in the bedroom worked loud at max rpm, and I could not adjust the fan speed. After a couple of nights, I reported this issue to them. Came Muay, they said they would fix it. Two guys tinkering all day, trying to fix, as a result, the condo has become quieter, but it did not last very long. The day it was used, and at night worked the second, which was in the living room. In the kitchen, not enough utensils, plates missing, and saucepan and frying pan was small and old, had to Macro and Tesco to buy a new one. Electric stove was also old and a week and a half broke down the same day it was replaced with a new one. Also the kitchen had a microwave, toaster, kettle, thermo pot and a fridge with a freezer. The furniture is also old (I think the policy of the hotel — while not broken, will not change).

Good budget hotel. Place in small houses. A passage to the sea via the ring road and an adjacent hotel. Beach looks poor and unpopulated, it is better to walk on Lamai beach.
