Nice peaceful neighborhood. Beautiful view from the rooftop pool. Very good gym. Friendly staff. Bad breakfast and Wi-Fi. You can rent a motorcycle from the hotel at 300 baht. Patong is a 25 mins ride away but I don't see why you'd want to spend more than 1-2 days in that busy tourist spot.
I had a contract for 2 adults & 2 children. When I arrived they insisted that I would be charged extra for the children / extra people. Some hotels in this area will try this while others do not. We did not stay, there are plenty of nice hotels in the area and I refuse to accept bad business practices. If you are staying alone or as a couple this may be a good hotel for you but understand that typically this kind of operation will nickel & dime you to death with extra charges. Other hotels will charge a room rate and only charge extra for breakfast which is usually discounted and very reasonable.
