The location is great. Good breakfasts. The rooms are old, but decent. The price is not high.

Smells moldy when you first walk in the bedroom. Breakfast was weak. Gotta leave the key with front desk. Only one shower works in the bathtub. The regular shower didn't work. Hot was was hot. A/C blows cold. Super close to shops.

Great value for what you get. Good location only a couple of mins walk from the beach and a 7 eleven right next to the entrance which is very convenient. Very friendly staff always willing to help. Decent breakfast selection. Air conditioning could be a bit noisy but worked efficiently.

I was just here for dinner. The breakfast buffet is very simple but fine. The price of 200 baht as a hotel guest or 250 baht as a stranger goes fine. Egg dishes are prepared as desired. There is a Thai Food Promotion throughout the day. Almost all Thai dishes cost 99 baht. Tom Ka Gai is delicious. I wasn't convinced of Satay. But the other dishes have all tasted good, too. The value for money is very good through the promotion.

Great hotel for 3 stars. Would definitely give 4 stars! The room was clean, there was everything we needed-we had 2 fridges, 2 TV sets, 2 air conditioners, a good hair dryer, all sorts of shower gels, body balm and large bottles of hair, towels clean, bed clean white. Friendly staff with daily housekeeping in the room. The view from the balcony was a bit down-we had a view of the shopping center but it didn't stop to spoil the overall impression of the hotel. By the way-2 balconies in the room. In general, my husband and I tour operator tried with a room 2 rooms and kitchen-as a full apartment! We are satisfied very much! Have booked and paid for a double room for 2 pers including breakfast! I arrived alone and met someone here … And is now supposed to baht for the 2nd person for each night 800. Pay for 2 weeks even though I booked for 2 people and paid for absolute and intentional fraud!

With freindly staff, but if we stay at room no 201-203 wil don't have emergency exit. Near from patong beach and we could found halal food at there and central seafood only 1km.

We booked this last minute as we got a really good rate that included breakfast on Agoda. It’s really conveniently located, just two minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to Bangla Rd and Jungceylon. There’s also many shops around including a 7-11, pharmacies, many massage parlours (the one next to the hotel also took laundry and had it washed for you). The main building that’s in the photo has a jacuzzi on the roof, the small pool is located behind the hotel a short distance away in another building again on the roof. We stayed in the main building facing the road and it was very quiet apart from the noisy night market in front of the hotel in the evenings. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were in the colonial style with shutters at the bathtub. The hotel could do with updating but it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast catered for eastern and western tastes. It was passable. Calling the red and green liquids in the containers juice was a stretch. Internet was terrible; slow and unreliable though it started to improve near the end of our stay there so maybe they called the Internet fairies to fix it. We already had SIM cards that we purchased at the airport for our phones so it wasn’t too much of a bother. On our last day, we were flying out late so the staff told us we could use the showers upstairs on the roof which was great as it meant we could stay in our bathing suits until the end. All in all a nice stay.

We booked this last minute as we got a really good rate that included breakfast. It has an traditional wood style that could do with updating. The main building that’s in the photo has a jacuzzi on the roof, the small pool is located behind the hotel a short distance away in another building again on the roof. We were switched to a room that had a shower along with a large bathtub. The house lady who switched us told us it was the only room with a walk in shower so if that’s what you need, like we did, ask for room 301 if you decide to stay here after this review. The key powers the room which we were dismayed to find as there’s only one and it’s a normal key (not a card). We would have preferred to keep the aircon running while we were out due to medications that were heat sensitive. Luckily the room kept its temperature and didn’t get hot. What I found the most disconcerting were the many uneven floors. Whoever thought this was a good idea was an idiot. The entrance to the lift is uneven, there’s a little lip coming into the entrance before the entrance to our room. Then another when you walk in, then one into the bathroom, then one into the shower. It really makes you wary taking a step. The breakfast also left much to be desired. It’s quantity over quality. There was a chef making eggs and bacon. That was ok but the spaghetti with chicken and tomato sauce wasn’t.

A excelent option in Patong. Near of the beach with good price and good rooms. Excelent breakfast as usual in Thailand.

Nice close to everything … Party party… The jacuzzi on the terrace is just overlooking the sea… Beautiful Buddha statutes… They even a Ganesha on the terrace south west corner… Tours guy Mr Noom… Ask him about the hot shows ll… Awesome sounds and conversation ohhh yaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh.

It was a very small Hotel. We found the dirty sheets and they didn't change them until the next day, with some more stained ones. The breakfast is not international at all and those who do not adapt to their menu have very little choice. Warmly discouraged!

The hotel is decent. Not very good. But the staff is very nice, as compared to the staff of other properties that you'd stay at. The tours to phi phi etc are cheap from the hotel itself.

Wow! Perfect place to stay near Patong Beach. Juccuji on Roof top, free Wi-Fi, awesome delicious restaurant joint. Designed in typical thai style. Staff are very helpful and nice. Bike/ Scooter on rent available opposite the hotel.

Wi-Fi IS HORRIBLE! Do not come here if you need to work or have internet access for any reason important. You cannot load a single page on a laptop. Worse than Ethiopia. Rooms are decent. Too many rules and fines for little stuff. Welcome drinks absolutely suck. I'd rather they just not offer one. Close to the beach. Food across the street is great. I rented a great 300cc motorcycle for 700 baht next door. I would give 4 stars for better Wi-Fi. It's 2017. On the way out we paid 600 baht for a taxi to HKT. They always ask how many people, but it doesnt matter. How many cars is what's important. We needed one car. When it arrived we got in and the driver took a picture of us to complain about there being more than one person. The cars aircon didn't work well so it went off and on during the one hour trip. Fortunately it wasn't too hot of a day.

Stayed there during Nov 2017. This was my second visit to Phuket and also my second stay at Rayaburi. Our first experience was wonderful here, so there was no looking at any other place. Very hospitable staff. This time we book a Loft wing room with balconies, so it is not in the main building. It's the next building within the premises, but a little isolated. For the reception or restaurant you need to come to the main building. Your taxi or tour guy would be waiting in the main reception, so that may be a bit of a problem for a few. But we never had any issues as we were up on time. The loft building had a swimming pool on the roof top. The main building has a Jacuzzi on the top. All in all, next time I would book rooms in the main building itself. But it's a sure return to this hotel again, because it's affordable for the quality you get. Cheers!

News about hotel at the end of October 2017: there is no building in front of the hotel! Finally built a big hotel Beyond Patong. In front of this hotel is a large area with a supermarket (999 kind of called), there is a food court and on the right is a seafood restaurant. On arrival the hotel needs a deposit of 1000 baht per room, but you can give instead $50, return in the currency in which left. Currency exchange at the exit from the hotel to the left two steps one of the most advantageous, there is a supermarket 7 Eleven. Please note that there are no windows in the main hotel Building. But on the roof of the jacuzzi, bathrooms, showers, Recreation Area. In the Loft Wing on the roof of the pool, but the shower and toilets are Not. Both the Jacuzzi and pool can be used up to 22:00 which is very pleased. The pool towels and the Jacuzzi at the reception are free, the main thing is to clearly say that you go there. Everything was very nice, but at the time of arrival I was told that my room was in the old building and it is not like the Q comes out in the Photo. Although the rooms are not so bad they are almost the same as the Others. But not to Amazed. Best regards.

Decent place to stay, don't expect much but value for money. Liked the bathroom with big bathtub. Room was average and has a wooden smell, which natural due to humid climate.

Nice cheap hotel with bathtub, normal breakfast, Wi-Fi is low, not for fussy stayer. Stayed for three days and overall satisfied.

The location of the hotel is very good, 3 minutes to the Patong beach and the street is not crowded, there is one super market next to the lobby. Room size is not big, my room had no view, and the pool is in separate building belongings to the hotel.

I have stayed here 5 times, the staff are always friendly, some staff could learn English a bit better but its no real big deal, I would suggest getting a balcony room as some rooms dont have windows, air conditioning has always worked fine, last trip it started leaking but they had it fixed with in the hour, the break fast menu is a bit bland so I tend not to have it as part of my hotel booking, but the food in the restaurant is of decent quality and price, its perfectly located every thing is at your finger tips, its a decent 10 minute walk to the night life and at night the street is quiet, its only due to construction work last time it was a bit noisy, the beach is 5 minutes away with massage parlors and good restaurants close by, you get what you pay for at this hotel and that is location and a decent room to sleep in, and to me thats all I need.

Not recommended! Nothing for good hotel. Staff and management well know how to loot money from you. Very bad service from staff. Room's are very congusted. So guy's never choose this hotel.

I dont like this hotel… look nice on photo believe me guyss real life look like shittttttttt and they do the head check on the guest who is coming to the room.

Easily the worst hotel in Phuket, if not Thailand. Where do I start… You book a room via their website, agoda or a different booking site. When you check in, you're given a completely different room. You are given ONE key… which needs to be used to keep the power running, especially the air-con… so once you leave BAM! room heats up in two seconds flat. Most rooms have private balconies… with a view… of a car park or construction work The staff a extremely rude, have no desire to help you with the simplest task like finding and ATM machine. They Charge you 800baht if you want to bring someone up to the pool who hasn't booked at the hotel. The buffet breakfast is absolutely terrible… definitely not worth paying extra for… What next… the walls a paper thin I can even here the reception through the floor… and I'm on the third floor. The Wi-Fi is terrible… The hotel throws in little hidden costs here and there… then plays the no english card until you just give up and pay. If I wasn't so stubborn I would have cut my loses and booked else where, but this hotel is by far the worst in Phuket, if not the whole of Thailand and I've been to this country over a dozen times.

Really nice hotel not as dated as some reviews would have you believe, cheap checked in decided to stay extra two nights no problem at all, close to everything as described and food was ok for breakfast no different to other buffet style breakfasts. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we came back to Patong as staff where very helpful and friendly and enhanced our stay visiting Thailand.

Overall an excellent hotel. Nice rooms, excellent location n very good facilities. I'll recommend this hotel to couples n families.

The hotel is located very close to Patong beach which is the most popular beach in phuket. There are plenty of shops nearby and shopping from the roadside shops offer dirt cheap prices. The hotel does not have a swimming pool but who needs one when you can just pick a towel from the lobby and head down to the beach. Breakfast is decent.
