Family friendly vacation club. Excellent service.

We are having a wonderful time here. Last time we got to visit was in 2018. The staff are super friendly rooms are in perfect condition. Awesome family relaxation venue. Plenty for everyone. Best thing is the staff are awesome, kind friendly and extremely helpful. There’s a chemist and 7eleven right here as well. Our family are loving it. Kids club is fantastic the catering staff and the food is amazing. The cleaning staff are super. We can not fault this destination Best family friendly place.

We have stayed here a couple of times recently. From the moment you arrive the level of service is excellent. From the reception, restaurants, pool bar and especially the kids club. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Great service at all levels. There are so many activities for adults and children. The rooms are exceptional. Spacious and well laid out with all you could want, they have thought of everything. All round an exceptional hotel.

DONT EAT IN THEIR RESTAURANT! I was doubting before deciding to write this review, usually, I'm very patient and resilent. I'm rigourously considered before giving you 1 star, as I'm also working in hospitality industry which I do believe that 1 star will assurely tarnished your brand. Went there during breakfast, there was a fly on BRIE, told the waitress but being ignored and the particular cheese was still there. EWWWW THIS RESTAURANT CERTAINLY HAVING HYGENIC ISSUE! The price of dinner was ripped off, the buffet lines were limited and the taste was not that good (That was not even compared to 4-stars hotels in Bangkok) Even the place where the labor price was skycrapered like Newcastle : when I'm paying 28aud for buffet I've got King crab, scallops and other good stuffs. I've paid 50$ to get some small prawns and squid which won't cost me more than 15$ for a buffet line like this in Bangkok. For 50$, you should serve blue crabs or the rock lobsters. I can even get in Bangkok for half lobster and unlimited : bluecrabs, scallops, rocklobsters, imported oysters and King crabs. Anantara is serving cheap stuffs and should not be listed as 5-stars hotel. And about hospitality : I've seen the some waitresses were making frustrated faces when I'm taking a lot of prawns on my plates (which I've managed to finished every pieces of them). Also, when I'm mentioned about not ordering beverages. They are showing disdaining attitude.

At Phuket, where he spent four nights last Monday, it felt good.
Service staff enthusiasm, clean place, food has a lot of choice, we tasted a night Thai buffet, very Thai is also very delicious. The room is very large, the view is very open, and the bedding is very comfortable. We had a good time.

The resort is top notch with all the bells and whistles. Breathtaking experience from the moment we arrived!

Great facilities and awesome villas, staff are really friendly. We went for the presentation whereby they gave us a free trip which was worth while. The only downside is the packages are really amazing but they require a substantial deposit to join which is not viable. If you cannot afford it they tend to get a bit ubrupt but keep their promise nonetheless. If I had the money to make the deposit I would go for it.

Beautiful hotel and villas! Large, with incredible green areas, a fantastic pool, the food is excellent, the beach very clean and the staff is very friendly. I recommend this hotel for long vacations or weekend. Good restaurant. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Many people come for lunch and dinner. The price is reasonable and affordable.

I have my 3 days 2 night stay in this beautiful resort. Everything is good for me except the staff forgot to void my deposit and refund to my credit card till today. I thought that will be the standard procedure for all the hotels during check out. Hope this will be resolved as soon as possible.

Great if you looking for chilled vacation with family to stay and lazy around. Good hotel belonging beach. Good breakfast buffet and alacarte for our dinner. The room has everything you need, even washing machine. Anyway, hotel location is too far away from the Phuket town or even a normal price tags convenience store.

Very good hotel and facilities. Only 2 downsides: 1) Despite it’s near the airport, but it’s very far from the city center, so if you get bored from the surrounding shops and beautiful beach, it’s quite difficult to commute to the city center. Fortunately the hotel provides you a shuttle bus service, which is not free, or the staff can help you get a local car rental service. 2) The foods are not very good. Walking to the beach to find a local seafood stalls is recommended.

Beautiful Hotel. Quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle.

Nice resort, middle of no where though so it is difficult to go off resort and find real Thai food and experiences. They long to be 5 star but aren't and have quite a way to go. It's the little things that are lacking. Overall it is still pretty good.

Best thing is the staff. By far great people dedicated to you enjoying your time. The rooms are very nice. Universal power in every room. They offer a basic Thai language class. They offer many classes and activities here at the hotel. The negative — the prices do not match the area.

Arrived at 2 pm, checked in at 7 pm. Staff lied about reasons for delay. No offer of any refreshment. Never again.

Beautiful resort near Phuket airport on NW coast of Phuket near beach. Large swimming pool. Friendly and professional staffs.

We did not stay at the Anantara but attended the sales presentation for the timeshare. We saw the 1, 2, and 3 bedroom Villa. They were nice but the property itself is small and not as equipped as the Marriott next door. It felt like being in a jail, like a compound.

An amazing place to relax with plenty to do. Has a fantastic atmosphere and the staff are exceptional. We will certainly be returning soon.

Rooms are large, clean, and modern. We stayed in the apartments, which lack a private pool, but the main pool is large and warm with plenty of lounge​chairs. There aren't many restaurant options, but you can use the neighboring Anantara Villa's restaurants and still charge it back to your room.

Amazing and romantic villa, awesome food, great staffs, perfect services and a very relaxing place to stay away from busy city. We had good time enjoying the amenities including a bike ride to the beach, pool, and garden! Food was awesome with great service, and we received complimentary and surprise anniversary desserts during our stay. Electric cart transfer to our room is something lovely after a satisfied meal and during check in or check out! Walking around the club is relaxing and kids activities looks fun for kids. Oh ya, great variety for breakfast too! An ideal place for short getaway be it for couple or family! We will definitely plan for a come back in near future!

Best place to stay in Mai Khao, the villa is so nice with private pool inside, good for family vacation with children but still need to walk a little bit to reach the Mai Khao beach. And you will need to rent a car or motorcycle to go anywhere, the place where you can reach by walking is the Mai Khao beach and Mai Khao Plaza.

Anantara Vacation Club Mai khao is ideal for family of 4 to 5. There's activities for kids & adults. From games to cycling. The room is very clean and spacious. Except the water. It has a rust-like colour. But they provide free 2 bottles of 1lt mineral water daily. Kitchenette is good if you want to cook. Pots & cutlery provided. The bedding is soft with fluffy pillows. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Located 15 minutes from Phuket airport. If you want to go Patong it's 1hr drive. Overall experience is great.

Great place for your families with loads of activities for the kids to keep them occupied and the villas are just amazing with excellent amenities and great service. Food at the restaurant is good at competitive prices. Just across the road there's a bar and other restaurants for options. Worth a 2nd visit for sure!

— It is nice to stay here for 2 nights with fair price, but to get that price, we need to attend the HARD SALE session which is NIGHTMARE. They tried to sell the big course start from 18, xxx USD. I feel none of sincere from this session. So bad. — Too far away from beach. — We got a villa that quite far from facilities. We needed to call for car eaarytime we wanted to do anything. — The service is quite nice but it seems that Tips is mandatory otherwise displease may exist.

I lived to be accepted, the door opposite the only restaurant Shopping Mall, very amaze.

My husband I went here for our honeymoon (one of four countries) and this was our favorite. The grounds were beautiful and the food delicious, but what really made this trip so great was the staff. Everyone was so happy and accommodating. I am a vegetarian and everyone went out of their way to make sure I had enough to eat and a variety of food to try. One day Samorn, a server at the restaurant, even went to the local market and got me some vegetarian Thai snack food to try. The attention to detail and care by the staff was nothing short of amazing. We will absolutely go back if given the chance.

The first hotel in Phuket for me, a great option for those who are torn between relaxing in hotel and rental villas. The service is not obtrusive and attentive, restaurants.

There were mosquitoes, flies, services, Super five-star prices, the service capacity is insufficient, details as far as the bug.
