Stayed for 4 nights at their Sala Pool Villa and it was nothing but amazing throughout my stay with Anantara Layan. Location: Located away from the busy “touristy” areas like Patong so you can expect tranquility from not having to deal with usual touts. It’s fairly close from the airport, about 30 minutes drive away. Staff: Each and every one of the staff there was wonderful, smiling and greeting each time. They’re extremely meticulous and take great pride in their respective positions in the resort. Always going the extra mile in ensuring that my stay there was comfortable. Security at the entrance was there 24/7 to ensure the safety of their guests. Amenities & Food: The resort was huge but unfortunately, I did not have enough time to explore the entire resort. There was a wide spread of food variety during breakfast and they even catered a section for guests who needs Halal food. Airport Transfer: Airport transfer to and fro the airport and resort was smooth sailing with zero waiting time as the staff are on standby for my arrival at the airport. The resort provided an extra service during departure, having a staff waiting for me at the airport to help with my luggage and escorted me directly to the check-in counter. Overall: Fantastic stay with Anantara Layan Phuket Resort and special thanks to all the staff that made it an enjoyable getaway for me. Keep up the amazing work!

Absolutely loved our dining experience at Dee Plee restaurant! The staff; Mai, Nana, Jeffry and Naddee we're wonderful. Food was gorgeous, lovely atmosphere and great vibes.

Beautiful beach. So many things to do. The feature of little island is very nice. A walk to the island is fantastic. Hill walk is a good exercise no where else has it. Located not far from everything. Very near airport very good for travelling. Nice restaurants. Execellent service.

Amazing hotel!
-Staff are so friendly, helpful, and polite. We traveled with a baby and the staff went out of their ways to help us. Never been to a hotel that is so accommodating to children like this. 5 stars to the staff.
-Accommodation was beautiful. We stayed in a beach access pool villa, very convenient to go into the sea/restaurants.
-Food was also great. Kids under 12 YO can eat for free. Our baby eats adults food but without seasoning and the staff let us know we can order anything we like for the baby.
-Beach is nice and clean. There are some rocks and corals but nothing serious.
Definitely will come again!

The experience was alot more than my expectations. Staffs were 100% service mind, friendly & thoughful. The resort was very peaceful and private with a private beach.

The Sunday’s Brunch today was just outstanding!
All Anantara’s staff were attentive, polite and very professional. The culinary experience was delectable.
We’ve celebrated two birthdays and even received a delicious chocolate mousse birthday cake with a song.
Fantastic time was held by all despite the downpour. ♥️
We are definitely coming back.

Anantara Layan Residence, It’s the best of the Anantara hotels I have been to and their ability to achieve thoroughness in every detail of customer comfort, must be said, is quite outstanding!

My wife and I arrived at the resort after a few days in Bangkok and we were taken care of in a very special way. The staff is wonderful and they go out of your way to make you feel special. The facilities are fantastic and we loved the pool and the beach. You can visit many places with Orange car PhuketAfter reading all the reviews about the breakfast I expected something nice and it was better than I could have imagined. Our dinners we very nice and the presentation was top notch. We would highly recommend this resort.

Spent 6 nights but wish we could have stayed one more night. Luxurious experience. Awesome atmosphere, very private and eco friendly. Food was absolutely delicious. So many complimentary daily activities available. Staff were so friendly and professional especially, Jimmy. I could swim confidently with just one lesson with him. What a memorable holiday for us. Highly recommended! 10/10

The most beautiful gardens surround the resort. Our room was comfortably spacious and well appointed, very well designed private pool area and an overall air of total luxury. Everything special and many staff to help in any way. The restaurants and dining excellent. One day we will be back.

If we could give this hotel more stars, we would! Spectacular! From the very beginning of our stay, the staff was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to please their guests. The rooms are wonderful, clean, large, and extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel, right on the beach, is beautiful and perfect for relaxing in comfort. The buffet breakfast was one of the best we have ever experienced! We must say Thank You to the Anatara Layan for making our stay such a pleasure!

Very hospitable and friendly staff. Their breakfasts are top notch. What impressed me most is how detail oriented they are. They provide almost everything; if you go to the beach, their staff will lay out towels onto the beach chairs for you and keep a glass of ice water next to you topped up. Would definitely again.

Amazing views. Friendly staff. Food was good. Was there for a friend's wedding. A lovely time.

A true paradise. The kindest, friendliest, most helpful staff; it feels like being with beloved family members. The views are spectacular, the food is beautifully prepared and extremely delicious, the grounds are lovingingly maintained. If it were possible to give 10 stars, that is what I would do!

What an absolute gem of a place. The attention to detail is superb. The staff are unbelievable especially Emily who made us feel so welcome and at peace.

One of the best hotels in Phuket — especially their breakfast is really perfect! They have a small private beach, which is very peaceful and good for playing with paddle boat as there is no wave in there. Their swimming pool was larger than I expected — definitely good for family. And they have so many activities that you can enjoy for free. Overall, very good stay! After staying this hotel, I chose to stay in Anantara BKK but I was surprised by the quality differences… definitely Anantara Layan Phuket was better one.

Best service. I can say it was my best experience ever. Clean room, fast service, best kindness. Miss Nada was the person who welcomed us. She was very kind and nice. She gave us wake-up call for next day plan and gave us printed out information including the detail instruction of transportation and things to do at the place we mentioned where we were going to. Mr. Gan was at the breakfast restaurant and he gave us the best service at there too. We used a resort with private pool which had a tub for scrub. If you plan for resting in the best accomodity in puchet, use this place. It will give you the best holiday!

This resort is a very nice and quiet place away from everything. We took the Sala Pool Villa and the room was nice and clean. With a beautifully and over-sized bathroom when compared to the bedroom. Toiletries provided were decent. In-room & out-of-room slippers are provided. The pool in the villa was decently sized. Privacy was acceptable. We weren't disturb by any noise from the neighbors nor the surrounding. We enjoyed the short walk from the Lobby to our room. The garden was nice with a few ducks and goose to greet us every time we walk pass. There is no malls, eating places nor massage places within walking distance. The resort provide some activities for free, you can participate in Yoga lessons, kayaking, swimming (both beach and swimming pool). We tried the spa once. Not cheap but they provided very skilled therapists. Breakfast is the usual spread you will expect from any hotel. We had driver to pick us up to other parts of Phuket. The hotel stuff highly recommended the Thai fine dining restaurant, Dee Plee. It's a buggy ride away from our room to the restaurant. I have tasted better Thai food but it's not bad. The view was nice from the restaurant, alfresco dining is recommended. But get ready the insect repellent. The fan wasn't really helping with the heat but it's bearable. A nice and decent place to do a short getaway.

Quiet romantic hotel. It is a bit lonely, but for loving couples perfect.

The best place I’ve ever stayed in!. From the welcoming moment to the last minute. They have the most helpful, generous and kind staff ever. I went for my honeymoon, they warm welcome us with flowers all over the villa with fruits and pretty good macaroons. Everything was clean and neat, they provide almost everything you need on the vacation including beach bag and slippers. Also, the resort is located in front of Layan beach, the view is more than amazing, there was a water sport section with free kayak. Besides, inside the room they provided us with a smartphone to use for international calls for free! And also free internet if we go out side the resort. Not to forget that the Wi-Fi inside the resort was superb. One of the best things here was the apple TV device along with the tv. Although the resort is off town, they provide a free shuttle for us, but you wont need to go out at all. They have the best minibar with everything you desire and the restaurant has a well made food. Nevertheless, we had a little problem with the AC, they immediately changed the villa and offered a late checkout. Thanks for reading. P. S. This is not my fathers resort lol, but it worth it.

A fantastic luxury hotel with more facilities than you can imagine. The highest room are immense with panoramic views of Layan beach and the big island in front. Restaurants are beautiful, they even have Zuma Japanese restaurant from Bangkok.

Just awesome! All I needed was some peace and quiet to get away from my hectic schedule and this is just the place to be. I stayed in this resort a few times and have always enjoyed the tranquility and fresh air from the natural resources. The people is great, the facilities are sufficient to keep you busy, the room is so cozy and I had a villa with a private pool. Breakfast served in this resort is one of my favorite compared to the other resorts that I’ve been. You also got the serene view of Andaman sea while having breakfast. I enjoyed the spa as it made me so relaxed and lazy.

Bay for swimming too small.

Very good service especially in the small details, very correct even if they make a small mistake. Really a very nice place and coming from the French Riviera, I am difficult I appreciated the ease to sympathize with some employees and the "Chef" Italian. Thanks to their small attentions on a case by case basis.

Unfortunately, the service was very inattentive so we went after a drink.

So perfect for a peaceful vacation! Lots of options for activities. Rooms are beautiful, food is amazing and the kids club is clutch. Can't wait to come back!

In 4 Friends We visited the resort for a possible future holiday. Very nice. We also wanted to try the kitchen, essential for us Italians, a SUPER dinner at the THAI restaurant DEE PLEE. At this point we also wanted to congratulate the chef and Surprise, an Italian: Silvano, very sympathetic and talkative.

What a stunning quiet place to stay its a phenomenal to be there as couples great food great private villas and view on ocean.

This hotel is world class. The property is immaculately kept. I was really impressed from the time of making the initial booking. I received a detailed pre book in questionnaire so the hotel could align the experience with the guests preferences. The hotel did a good job on executing this. The staff are well trained and remember your name. Is a personalised service and stunning hotel.

The Residence Villas are mind blowingly beautiful. Staffing is professional, courteous and under-stated. The rooms are vaulted and furnished in luxurious contemporary style. Great walls of glass and huge roof terraces with infinity pools give breathtaking views over gardens and sea. I would highly recommend this fantastic hotel and its hillside villas.

Anantara Layan Resort is one of my favourite Hotels. The service is outstanding, the quality of the food is amazing, the breakfast buffet is one of its kind and the Spa is simply amazing. My 4th time in this beautiful resort won't be my last time for sure. Looking forward to be back soon.

This Anantara is well located next to the National park, in a beautiful charming and quiet area… It gaves me another look about Phuket! Beautiful cosy rooms, nice swimming pool right in front of the beach. The beach is private as there are no resort around. Perfect breakfast for everyone enjoying a sea view… What else!? :) The staff helpful and with a real smile… A beautiful experience!

The location is perfect and, besides the service you would expect in an Anantara you have the amazing kindness of the staff that will do anything to make your time in Phuket more than perfect. Loved it.

Great Hotel, but not all villas have complete privacy, the ones closest to the main building can be viewed from the restaurant above.

Awesome place for a couple. Reclusive place. Kind people. Great sun and beach. Closest shop area is 15mins by car. Great for 2 nights only.

Stayed for 9 days (July 16 to 25) and absolutely love the place. Our villa was great — made up nicely with flowers on the bed, a fruit plate and a welcome cake for our upcoming anniversary for our arrival. The restaurants and food were great. Staff were welcoming and friendly, eager to help make our stay memorable. The pools side bar and the ocean view drew us every afternoon for drinks and a dip — when we could pull ourselves away from the secluded private pool in our villa. And the generally chill atmosphere encouraged us to just relax and decompress from our lives back in Hong Kong. It was, without exaggeration, a fantastic experience and we plan to visit again soon!

The beach was beautiful and calm. Good place for relaxing. Breakfast was nice and delicious but the buffet area was a bit gloomy (not enough light) for me.

The best resort in Phuket, or entire South East Asia, maybe. Perfect place for family travel, located in quiet, not-so-crowded place in MaiKhao beach. Tons of cool acitivies in kids club, huge and fun swimming pool where they run a movie night on every Wednesday, which you should definitely check out to experience enjoying movie in swimming pool over free pop-corn. I have stayed in 2 BR Pool villa and 2 BR Pool suite Apartment, both of which exceeds my expectation in terms of room condition, size of the room, amenities and bedding, and much more. I have been to Phuket about 10 times and Anantara Vacation Club is absolutely one of the main reasons why I visit this lovely island whenever I can. I am so lucky and privileged to get to know this perfect resort.

Nice hotel in a secluded bay. Very private and there are several restaurants around the grounds serving both Thai and western food. I wasn't too impressed the food (salads) kind of missing the taste of traditional thai dishes. Nice pool area with different types of seating areas as well as a bar. There is a pool table and a few other amusements directly at the pool area as well. You will need transportation if you want to leave the hotel grounds.

The resort is located near airport and in a quiet gulf, but is quite far away from town center. There are some restaurants options nearby, but limited. The resort is new and beautiful. The breakfast is really impressive. A good choice for a peaceful holiday. If you want to explore the island, a car is must.

A great resort for honeymooners and those who may just want to recharge. A great location with its' secluded beach. The space here feels a bit cramped. If you're looking to hide in solitude, this may not be the place unless you request/choose a "Rockstar" location.

Fantastic corner of paradise. Chef Umberto prepares exceptional meals that can challenge the best restaurants in the world. A bit expensive but worth it.
