Gun and her mom were so friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Our room was super clean and the food at their restaurant was excellent. The town of Bang Rong was a great change of pace after visiting the much busier, louder, touristy towns of Patong, Karon, Phuket Town, and Krabi. Bang Rong is conveniently located near Ao Po Pier and Bang Rong Pier where several tours depart from. They also have a local night market with a variety of street foods and the Elephant Sanctuary, Gibbon Rehabilitation Center, and Ban Pae Waterfall are all a quick drive away.
Awesome accommodation run but the lovely Gunn and her family. Gunn tries hard to emulate a 5 star hotel with food sent into your room and as helpful as a concerige. Perfect location if you want to do the tours on the north side. New building. Great aircon. No bugs inside. Good hot water pressure. Cleanliness was perfect as well. Comfortable bed. Really can't ask for much more. If you want to do daytime stuff in the north I recommend this location!
