Review of The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort - SHA Extra Plus 5*

From the moment we landed in Krabi airport we felt we had found heaven. The driver went out of his way to be friendly and helpful. When we arrived at the gorgeous resort we felt welcomed. We were speechless when we were shown our room — we booked the haven suite (appropriately named) it was enormous and beautifully styled. The room opens up onto a magnificent deck and a private 10m infinity pool looking onto the beach and islands beyond. It was my birthday gift from my wonderful partner — 4 days and nights in what we both believe one is f the best resorts in the world. Briefly the food breakfast and dinner was sensational — we stayed with the Thai (when in Rome) and we were never disappointed — we — after trying several other restaurant in a the area (so you have got choice in Tubkaak beach) decided in the resort Thai for my birthday — we had a table right on the beach and was spoilt with a delicious birthday cake accompanied with the resident musicians singing happy birthday. BUT what makes this resort so special is the Staff "it's all about the people" if you don't have the staff you don't have the resort. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were attended to at all times. I requested decaf coffee pods for the Nespresso coffee machine — within minutes we had them. The outstanding staff members worth mention in person : 1. Sunyadech (Sunny) resident manager — he went way beyond to make sure we were catered for in every way. He circulates with all guests. 2 : Litta in the breakfast restaurant — I hope I have spelt her name correctly — she has no name tag as she is very new to the resort — she was so sweet and caring — remembered our names remembered our coffee and drinks preference. She was so friendly — I also noticed she was familiarising herself with other things in the resort so she could be the "go to girl" for all information regarding the hotel — she organised our seating at dinner. To the owner of the resort — your recruiting is sensational — if you don't have outstanding amazing staff you don't have an outstanding amazing resort. Food — we were dubious about the location thinking we would only be able to eat at the resort WRONG plenty of choices all within walking distance. Our final night was my Birthday and we decided after trying other restaurants to stayin house at the Thai (when in Rom) the meal as delicious and I was treated to an on the beach put your feet in the sand table with magnicent food and wine — plus a beautiful birthday cake with in house musicians singing happy birthday. We will be back and we will be tell all our friend about this piece of heaven — thank you Sunny and Litta (thank you to the owner for having such a family oriented team that are passionate about their resort)
