We were suppose to stay at the hotel opposite called chic n chill. Apparantly that was undergoing reconstruction. So we somehow got to stay here though the payment was for chic n chill, same parent company?. Cosy room, with a balcony, fridge and safekeeping available, not a wide range of TV channels. My only complain was there were mosquitoes in the room… and they seem to come from the sink. I did not remove the cover for the sink the night before, leaving it flooded… before I went to sleep I saw a mosquito lavae and didnt think much of it… the next day when I woke up there were so many lavaes, wiggling in the water… interesting sight… About 5-10min to the pier operated by wangsai, about 10-15min walk to aonang beach area. Ferry ticket 100baht one way-tonsai/railay, they will usually make u buy return ticket anyway.

We booked the hotel through Booking where it has very good reviews. In the early morning before togo to this hotel I realized they charged the booking already my credit card. Something that never happened before. We arrived at night and we found that the hotel was very old and dirty. First impression was HORRIBLE. We arrived to our room and the same. Towels very old, upper part of the bed was completely dirty, a lot of mosquitoes over the wall… Disgusting. Not to mention to the bad smell of the tap water and hotel in general. About the breakfast — it is disgusting. Yogurt and two different fruits (watermelon and pineapple) HOT. The rest was food that I couldn’t even try. I paid for something that I couldn’t eat. And when we tried to pay with card, only from 1000THB and they charge u 5%. I don’t understand why it is called hotel when actually is like a bad hostel. If I would know how bad quality of this hotel is, I would never book it. I can’t believe it that it is a “4stars hotel”.

We spend 3 nights in Arrears Tara Resort. Resort name is little miss leading as it is a average three star hotel. It is in the middle of small town where you get almost everything. There is a very good night market near this hotel. And very near to Ao Nang beach. I would give 3.5 for this hotel. Bedroom is cosy but very small for the rate. Required maintenance. Staff is not very friendly and most of them doent understand English (this is common across Thailand). We have not opted breakfast while booking hence it was very costly. Ao Nang in general is lot more expensive than most Thai Islands. Lobby is lovely with colourful couches and mini bar counter. Pool is very small still it is quite impressive. Over all we had a nice time and enjoyed our stay and krabi.

Good location and value for money; the room was quite tidy (but the bathrooms fittings seemed a bit worn out)

The location is good, this year the night market is close by, similar to Krabi town. There is food for every taste prepared with you, there are tables to sit and eat, fruit, ice cream, things, cosmetics, folk crafts, performance of musicians and artists. The hotel has breakfast buffet, a variety of dishes, every day something changes in the menu. Pool from 0, 5 meters to 1, 5, cool, but strongly hlorivannyj. The rooms are nice, we had a garden view, i. E. A palm wasteland, it is generally excellent, no one will stare you, not that overlooking the pool.

Generally very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly. Pool is on the small side and is surrounded by the hotel. Not the most inviting, but good enough to refresh. Also, because of its location and little space it doesn't get much sun. The bigger issue however is the mosquitos and the terrible smell at the entrance of the Hotel. Once you are inside is fine, but the entrance is painful with a very unpleasant smell. Rooms are not too big, and bathroom gets easily flooded. Didn't try the food as there were many options around. Location is good too.

Reasonably priced hotel with friendly staff and good location. Too far to walk to the beach however. I rented a scooter for about $10usd per day which took care of the traveling problem, only about a 5 minute drive to the main strip. If you want something right on the beach though then this is probably a little further then you want to be.

Very acceptable resort. Breakfast mostly Thai en american style Coffee thai style. Nice rooms. Not special view from room.

For muslim, breakfast hotel is not HALAL Good location and nice stay.

Everything was fine but pool had too much chlorine didnt care though because beach was close enough.

Wonderful hotel and lovely room. We arrived close to 10 am, 4 hours before check in time and even so they gave us the room :). The location is very good, near restaurants, bars, shops and a walkable distance to the beach. The pool is so nice. Staff were so helpful and kind. Everything is as shown in pics. Finally, they printed our boarding pass for free. We totally recommend this hotel.

We're visiting Krabi during low season which means a lot of rooms were underutilized. Out room had a direct access to the pool which was nice. Room was alright, finishing looked cheap but acceptable. There was however a musky and damp smell throughout the room, it was especially bad in the bathroom and one of the lights in the bathroom didn't work. There was no hot water and was only addressed after we called the technician over. Phone was also dead. All in all, wouldn't recommend it. For the price, we could have gotten a room at a proper 4 star hotel.

Very nice place, close to some halal food restaurant so you don't need to worry. Also close to nopparatharra beach, only 10 mins walking. But don't expect too much since it's not convenient to go swimming or just laying on the beach.

Great value. My only complain is that the tap water tastes salty.

Clean and comfortable rooms with all the amenities for a 3-star room. Lovely swimming pool and a good breakfast buffet.

Calling themselves a resort is too much. They should name themselves a budget hotel with the service and facility provided.

First of all the photos used to promote the hotel do not really represent the hotel today. It's very poorly maintained.
The positives:
-The rooms are clean and the bedding is RAS.
-Breakfast is not extra but OK
-The position is great not too far from the two beaches.
The negative points
-When we arrived at the hotel we believed a bad joke the smell of the sewer lifts is omnipresente and extremely strong. It's horrible! Fortunately the smell is just at the reception but never disappears.
-Obsolete places
-The pool lacks maintenance notorious green border of mold all around. And a lot of mosquitoes.
-My daughter got electrocuted by charging her phone.
-The smell of humidity very present in the room.

Hotel disappointing swimming pool Deguelasse breakfast It is anything to be careful with the climatic plug that makes noise good bedding hotel looks good on paper but that wind.

“The great value & perfect location” This was the first place in our entire trip. We stay there two nights. This hotel is perfect if you want somewhere nice to lay your head with a good pool. Good location for the beach and the shops and restaurants. (many places to eat and shop within walking distance. ) Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Overall my stay is very pleasant!

Nice pool, spacious and modern rooms, cleanliness, but has terrible Wi-Fi.

Good price, nice pool. Has Wi-Fi and not located far away from anything 1 min by motorbike taxi to beach road. Room is nice and comfortable.

Very comfort hotel indeed! The breakfast is awesome and all staffs are friendly and helpful.

CA. 15 min from the beach walking.

The superior room was quite average. Could not get used to the idea of climbing over a timber pedestal in reaching for the mattress. The balcony opens out into a vast open area spotted with trees. A weird thing though — as I looked out from the balcony, I saw two tombstones in the not too far distance. Decided to zoom in on this strange finding with the camera and sure enough there were two tombstones. Gave me a bit of a fright though. Was not expecting to have un-welcomed 'guest' popping by to say hello in the thick of night — a frightful thought though. The buffet breakfast was nothing to shout about. The same spread for the 3 days that we were there. Service was neither exceptional nor deplorable — tepid would the the right term to use in this instance. The reception staff, excepting a few, were rather rude or am I to take it that this is the way they communicate with guest — really beats me. The management of the resort has to put these staff through an intensive course in service etiquette, as this is failing at the reception and buffet hall. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this resort at a low five (5)
