Heaven. Professional, attentive staff and exceptional food!

Beautiful resort, great spa, big rooms that are well equipped. Children can enjoy activities on the beach. Breakfast spread is amazing with freshly squeezed juices from local fruit, ample choices of pastries, pancakes, noodles etc. There is plenty of food to choose for lunch and dinner — and I would have to say a big thank you to a restaurant staff for always making sure that baby’s food comes out first! While we are still ordering, kids food is already being cooked. Service is unbeatable!

An amazing resort with wonderful staff and excellent service — always smiling, always! Set in the most peaceful beachside 🏝️and sprawling natural backyard. Villas are clean with luxurious space and excellent faculties all around the resort. A magnificent place to come with family and friends. I can’t wait to go back! ❤️

Pimalai is a wonderful place to stay surrounded by the ocean & nature. The staff are so attentive, the accommodations are lovely! And the spa is absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful resort set in incredible lush, pristine grounds. The hilltop pool suites are huge and amazing! Loved this place — a true sanctuary.

It's love at first sight! This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in this country. The view is breathtaking. The facilities are top notch. The beach is the best, and the people the bestest. I can't fault anything at this place. I will definitely come back soon.

Super awesome view from everywhere in the resort, we got upgraded to private pool Villa and loved the stay even more. Food for Indian palate is a small challenge but the overall ambience and breeze makes up for everything.

Absolutely amazing would be 5 stars (but, please read my one ps) and made so beautiful by the staff they are so lovely. We have wanted for nothing. Not cheap but by far one of the best hotels in the world. From the second we arrived nothing was too much trouble. I am Humbled at how beautiful the hotel and staff are. Makes me question how others operate thier hotels. This is my favourite so far in the world. Ps: I am revising this with one negative. I do not like the way different class clients set by the price of your room eat in the bottom breakfast room and the more expensive client eat in the top restaurant. Clients should not be classed like this! After all we a family of 6 easily spend as much as one upper level room and eating far more in the restaurants.

Simply amazing. We stayed in a villa which had its OWN PRIVATE INFINITY POOL! There are 2 other infinity pools in the resort to use. Extremely picturesque location. Many places to eat nearby just outside the hotel if you don't want to eat at the restaurants in the hotel itself. Very friendly staff who go almost out of their way to help you.

My wife and I just wanted to say thank you for such an amazing stay at your resort last week. We had a great time and what really stands out at your hotel is the attention to detail and the kindness of everyone working there. First off, you do an amazing job maintaining the location and having such beautiful and natural surroundings. The rooms, restaurants, pools and walking areas are so well designed and well taken care of. I also cannot say enough nice things about your staff and the way they treat the guests. They are some of the kindest people I have ever met and went out of their way to help make this a great stay. Little un-requested things they did such as water on the hot beach or the surprise packed breakfast meal for the early boat ride home were touching. We loved the crew we were with for some of the snorkeling expeditions, they were so nice and so much fun! Everyone around the resort was helpful and kind. Also on the front end of arriving and the back end of leaving, things were so well taken care of. It was amazing to arrive directly by boat to the dock. I was also impressed that you were able to help arrange for our flight back and charter a boat even though no other guests needed to go at our flight time. Lesser hotels would have not treated us so well. And at the airport, you had the kindest man helping to make sure we did properly get on our flight and our bags were taken care of. We loved it and we fell in love with Koh Lanta because of your hotel.

The spa is very good and it is very relaxing after an exhilarating experience of scuba diving in the vast clean ocean with professional and superb trainers. The rooms are spacious and clean. However, food is not so great and that is something that needs to be improved upon.

Exceptional service and staff. We got complementary transport from Krabi airport, easy checkin, beautiful room, very polite staff, and the overall experience was just the best we've ever had. I would 100% recommend anyone planning to visit Koh Lanta to stay at Pimalai — it is 100% worth the premium price as they take care of all of your needs. If we ever visit koh Lanta again, we will be back at Pimalai!

I had too much psychologically invested in his vacation before I left but congratulations because the stay was perfectly up to my expectations.
From our reception in Krabi and during the transfer to the Pimalai the magic operates and this will continue the entire stay.
Accommodations, environment, restaurants, SPA, gym, swimming pools and excursions everything was top.

It's a beautiful hotel. A gorgeous grounds, a gorgeous breakfast with panoramic views of the sea. Free transfers from Krabi Airport and back.

Went to the Seven Seas restaurant and it really delivered. The view was spectacular (I recommend doing sunset drinks beforehand), the resort was beautiful and the staff and food were both spot-on. I was actually staying at the Layana but this place definitely looked a level above despite the comparable review scores elsewhere.

Lovely Hotel The hotel is nestled in a beautiful bay. We had a hillside pool villa with fantastic views. The villa is very large and offers plenty of space. The private pool is a romantic evening with a view of the bay and the sunset.
The staff is very accommodating and always at your service.
The food in the restaurants is delicious and varied. The theme nights in the restaurants are recommended. It is worthwhile to reserve a table in advance.
The spa is in a beautiful location and the massages are adapted to the needs of the guest.
The beach is constantly supplied with cool drinking water. The beach is very clean.
In summary, it was a very nice holiday.

Idyllic setting for a dream hotel.

Perfection, none the less. Expensive, yes, but you get what you pay for. I spent there two nights with my three children and wife after a horrible experience at another resort. We wanted to have two days of luxury after that and chose Pimalai. We were not let down. I wouldn't say it's a children's place as the surroundings made us hush on the kids, not to ruin the experience for others, but that's maybe just us. I would definitely go there once my children are a bit older.

We stayed here last minute as the resort we initially booked was not maintained well. The staff are very friendly and all of them spoke great English. The amenities and the beach from were well maintained, the view from the many restaurants are beautiful and there are many staff around to assist you. The rooms are cleaned twice daily. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of Asian and Western options available. The food was great and for lunch, dinner and drinks, the cost is on par with North American prices. Highly recommend staying here.

Great place! Really amazing.
I just didn't appreciate the price of the room as we could not have our breakfast at the place of our choice (the one near the top pool is reserved for the most expensive rooms). At €250 at night, it hurts the heart to feel excluded.

Great restaurant on the beach : sea view, nice buffet, delicious coffee, polite and understanding staff. Clean! Well done.

I really love the views and our villa. This was the highlight of our trip. Unfortunately the service wasn’t up to par for a 5 star resort. The staff members are trained to ignore women. So all the conversations were directed at my husband. This made both of us feel super uncomfortable. Even when I asked questions they would respond to him. Very weird customs and training. Unfortunately my husband was exhausted and couldn’t relax because he had to ask all the questions for us and make the phone calls for requests. Being a second class citizen now, when I wasnt happy with one meal at the Seven Seas they didn’t fix the problem. So don’t order the lobster there. But more importantly you would think a 5 star resort would care enough to provide excellent satisfaction. This is where Pimalai would not be a 5 star resort. We stayed for 10 days so we are well aware of the treatment of women. For this reason alone, I do not see myself wanting to explore this resort unless we simply didn’t speak to anyone and just enjoyed the views. Not up to par with Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton as for food and customer service.

Amazingly beautiful location. Even at peak occupancy doesn't feel crowded. Excellent food. Staff is unbelievably helpful. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

It really doesn’t get any better than this resort. Fantastic experience all around, and we would highly recommend staying at Pimalai to anyone that is thinking about going to the south of Thailand. The level of service provided is unmatched. We have stayed at other luxury resorts, but this was the best by far. We had a private pool villa, and it was paradise. We could have stayed in our room for 3 days and would have been happy. The food was very good, particularly at the beach restaurant and Seven Seas. The beach that the resort on is gorgeous and practically empty (we stayed in mid November). This was amazing in contrast to the crowded, loud beaches of mainland Krabi. Shout outs to our customer service host Beatle, the activity host Safe, and one of our waitresses Kaew (who greeted us by name when we entered for breakfast each day). We will absolutely be going back again in the future.

Wow. The best resort I’ve very been too. I had a great time. They upgraded our room for free and threw in a bunch of discounts. The room felt like a small house. The private infinity pool was amazing. The food was good, not mind blowing but we ate room service 1-2 times a day. Definitely go!

We had a pool villa at the Pimalai for four nights. Such a shame that it wasn't more! The Pimalai is a lovely place with wonderful staff. The resort is run with strong attention to detail. Prices for the restaurant are high for Thailand but the food and service is very good. Don't miss the included breakfast!

If you are not a guest you are not welcome. We walked in to the restaurant from ouside of the hotel and were greeted and sat down. They asked what room number and we said we're from the hotel down the road is it okay? They said yes but from then on we didn't feel welcome. Staff watched us while we ate from just in front of the table which made it very uncomfortable. At times it seemed like they were laughing at us or talking about us. When we had finished and went to leave via the bar they ushered a different way with no path straight onto the beach, it was very strange and made us very uneasy. Food was nice but I would not sit through that again : (

Very expensive, but the suites are magical. We stayed in a pool villa up on the mountain, and had a lovely week away from it all.

Easily to fall in love with a beautiful place like Pimalai from the moment you step out of the shuttle and into the lobby. The journey to reach a destination is worth it and the Spa treatments are heavenly. Breakfast at Seven Seas restaurant treats one with gorgeous views and delicious & healthy breakfast options.

Amazing views on the bay and great service. They can improve menus a la carte in creativity and taste by hiring a chef at the level of Luca Mancini.

Dream Hotel. All the staff are in the small care. The breakfast is magical with a splendid view. The two pools are very nice with a big plus for the one on the mountain side. The rooms are very spacious, very well equipped. We were greeted like royalty, flower necklace, cool drink and refreshing towel. Nothing to say.

I have been to many places and this is my favourite. The island is small, quaint and wonderful. The hotel is stunning and the staff could not be more helpful. The boat ride there was very special and the views are breath taking. Make sure you visit the beach, the sea (I was there in July, was wonderfully warm and a pleasure to be in.

Great hotel, excellent service, nice and spacious room. Some reflux of odor in the room and room not obscure enough to sleep and pity that the beaches of Koh Lanta are not a limpid blue.

Best Hotel on the island, the staff is great the rooms and the beach Also, the hotel is 200m from the village with plenty of small bar and restaurants.

Quite possibly heaven on Earth, with everything taken care of for you. There's chalets by the beach, as well as an upper resort area which has a swimming pool with a brilliant view of the cove. Transportation is sorted by the hotel and all you need to do is arrive at Krabi airport and meet the pick up concierge. The travel time may be long, but it's worth the wait. Food in the resort is also mostly excellent, but one can easily travel to town for some local fare. Massage service is also great and highly recommended.

Service was immaculate. Room was beautiful. Food was very good. We were conveniently located to the national park on the south side of the island. We rented motorbikes from the hotel next to ours. The pools were fantastic too. Very friendly staff.

Holy Focaccia… Pimalai Hotel and Resort has just blown my mind. The speed boat journey, the warm welcome, the bubbly in our room with a view has started this leg of our Honeymoon tour off perfectly… Guys Always xxx.

Phantastic Hotel, best place to be.

Expensive by Thailand standards but alright by US standards. Absolutely amazing service and immaculately designed grounds. The free transfer to and from airport also helps a ton.

Nothing to say. Everything is top! It's beautiful. The staff is great. The breakfast is top. The rooms are nice. After this is a little resort. Some people like. Others less. What is nice is that there are plenty of stuff around.

The most ideal hotel Lanta.

It's a 5 star resort with 5 star prices but not 5 star choices of food, drink services. Expect to pay at least triple Bangkok prices for a beer, massage or dinner here. Their website says that its because they are on an island and have to import everything, well so does the town next door who are only ~ 20% more than Bangkok.

Very quiet, small town, rent a bike, can ride it. The hotel facilities were good, facing the sea. The pool was beautiful. Suitable for long-term leisure residence.
