Great but expensive for the given level of service. Breakfast average, Really bad coffee (get great coffee at Horizon bar on the right 30mtr. ) and a lot of little details in those beautifully cottages are not being looked after. Always a wet floor in the toilet. Would be 4-5 stars if the owner would spend some money on reparations and (re) organisation. No restaurant and pool which would be justify the high price. Scooter rental they force you to give your passport? No copy allowed. Go next door and rent it there with just a copy. A great beach side cottage that I would recommend if that's all that counts for the high price.

Nice little hotel right next to the beach with nice staff who were very helpful. The room was ok for what you pay, the bathroom could do with a renovation as there was a tap for the shower where you could see the outside obviously the shower was put in at a later time and the hot tub bath looked like it had mould growing on the head rests and looked a bit grubby. If it wasn't for the bathroom the hut would have been fantastic.

Wonderful boutique resort. The breakfast is delicious and it’s a nice beach view in the morning. Pretty good price. Try to get one of the two rooms that faces the ocean.

Small operation, very good customer service, nice beach and view. Came during low season so the rate were amazing. Simple rooms but comfy. Bed a bit on the firm side. No complaints from me but my wife prefer a softer set.

Located on the gorgeous Khlong Nin beach, it is quiet and secluded, apart from two of the bungalows closer to the road in which another guest complained of the traffic noise from. The bungalows are architecturally nice, fairly basic inside but you are really paying for the proximity to the beach and convenience of staying a short beach stroll away from many bars and restaurants. The whole area has a relaxed vibe. The staff are generally quite grumpy and you need to be assertive to get any queries resolved, but our issues were minor and they did help with everything in the end, if slightly begrudgingly. In a charming way… Breakfast is served on your own bungalow veranda and is nice, if not outstanding. Great coffee shop nearby (Monkey Business) and Jai Dee serve some delicious authentically Thai curries. You pay for the location rather than for luxury accommodation, but with the views on offer you won't need to spend much time in doors.

Good location and convenient rooms, each accompanied with a small balcony with a sea view. Standard rooms are on the sunny side, during your breakfast, which is served in the balcony, you will be exposed to the direct sun light. Standard room no. 9 is on the street side and quite noisy. Deluxe no. 5 is next door to the kitchen and staff starts brawling at 6:30 a. M.

Great bang for your buck! We paid extra and got the beach front bungalow and we weren't disappointed. The bathroom has a huge one-way window that overlooks pristine beaches. The beaches are very clean and we found others would often come to our beach because some of the others were dirty. When you take a walk and look at some of the other places Baal Pakgrasi definitely sticks out as one of the best options. Our only issue was that the sauna jets didn't work, but for the price we paid we didn't care. The pool is at another hotel down the beach, about a 5 minute walk. We never went though because the beach and ocean were great, and there's an endless amount of beach bars to choose from nearby. Breakfast is delivered every morning which is a nice treat, and it's actually pretty good. Staff were nice and incredibly helpful in recommending things to do!

Very pretty, but the owner was not helpful. Even after the deck broke and I fell through it.

One of the best place I have stayed if not the BEST! on the beach, calm and the owner is very helpful. They provide breakfast and it's awesome. They have 2 dogs, just be careful — :) Nice place and amazing view! Enjoy the sound of waves at night and it seems it will hit your room-:) sometimes scary! If you rent a bike that's the way you can drive till the lands end. Think, how amazing that is, one side deep jungle and another side ocean! Be careful as you will find very less people if by any chance you need any help on the way. I got a flat Tyre and it was a hapless situation for me! You can be lucky to see Komodo dragon while driving! enjoy one of the most serene place in Thailand!

Basic but beautiful. No bells and whistles here with the room but the beach view from our window was priceless. Don't expect too much from the room or service, but all staff are friendly and happy to help. It's clean and insect free. No cockroaches were seen and the staff cleaned and tidied every day. There is fully functional air con, which you'll definitely need and the bathroom has what you need. We didn't use the provided hot tub as we thought it a little unnecessary and would have wasted the valuable hot water. The included Breakfast was always very nice and having it outside looking out at that view every day was worth every penny. Ko Lanta is the perfect place to get away and forget about work. Very chilled and very quiet. The beach has plenty of places to eat every day. You really are spoilt for choice. Out on the road you're also not far from shops and an ATM just 2 mins away. There is also a medical clinic not 5 mins from here which might also come in handy if you so need it. Highly recommended, I would definitely return.
