A lovely guesthouse with very friendly owners — they made me feel very welcome and at home. My room was OK — no air con but a fan instead. Furniture was a little dated but it pretty much had everything I needed. Lovely courtyard to sit in and a very central location in the old city. A great budget stay.
Was suppose to stay here for 4 nights, but left after the first night. The room was not clean (toilet was dirty, sink had toothpaste marks and mirrors were smudgy). Being on the road the dirtiness didn’t bother us too much, but the bed is what made us leave. It felt like we were sleeping on a cot. It was very uncomfortable and we felt the metal springs. This place was cheap, but not cheap enough for the standards that they held.

Had a nice enough stay at the CMWH. Our room was very comfortable and the host, BP, was frequently around to greet us with a smile. He has a good system of logging the beverages you take so you can get stuff whenever you want as well. All in all, he has a very nice property and I would recommend a stay here if you are in Chiang Mai.
