CM Friend's House Guesthouse

My group stayed at CM Friend’s House for the new year and we had an amazing time. The atmosphere is very nice downstairs and the rooms are comfortable and cozy. Everything was clean and they had a cleaner come daily during our stay. The location is good, just outside of the old city. It’s located next to a big market where you can get just about anything you need, and it’s easy to take a grab or songtheaw to wherever you’re going. I would definitely stay here again with or without a big group!

CM Friend's House is an excellent place to stay when visiting Chiang Mai. The peaceful environment with friendly helpful staff and world travelers make it the perfect place to make your base.

I've been twice and it's been wonderful both times. The place is brightly painted with a theme that goes over the whole house and has an endearing meaning to it. In addition, there are at least two quotes painted on the walls that are powerful and inspirational. The place has been very clean both times. The layout and the comfortableness of the furniture are great too. Energy is important to me, particularly protecting my own. When you walk into CM Friend's House, you just feel the positivity. Don't be surprised if your level of happiness rises, even if you are already happy. To add to it, the place is in a wonderful location! There's a pretty big market outside, a convenience store within walking distance, two massage places very close to it, and quite a few restaurants. A few blocks more and there's a line of stores on both sides of the road. I only walked to the right once I hit the main road, so I know I missed whatever is to the left. Last thing — — if you use Grab while you're here, it is easier to get one to pick you up from this area than some of the other, equally popular areas.
