Beautiful Island, the water is so clear. You can eat some fresh seafood at the beach and some grilled chicken with a spiced sauce. Just amazing and delicious! I wished tourists had more respect for the environment. Because I saw a lot of plastic trash around the island.

Excellent location, well-developed infrastructure, beaches with fine sand and clear water. Get to the island by a minibus-ferry for 30bat (payment at the entrance), on arrival to the island immediately after the pier will offer a bike/taxi/tuktuk on any of the beaches. Motorbike 300 Baht, TukTuk 40bat. Everything is well organized, lots of cafes and shops.

If the beach and the sea in Pattaya, it is only here. Arrive better before. Ferries start to walk from 7:30. You can move around the island on the Tuk Tuk (Songteo), it is better to take a bike.

If you plan on staying the night I suggest renting a bike. The dogs are aggressive after 6pm. The island is very trashed out. The beaches are beautiful so id suggest a day trip and to go back to pattaya that day. The locals are nice but don't seem to like the fact tourists visit so often. Very different vibe from the rest of Thailand, and not in a good way. I felt VERY unsafe at night trying to walk to the other side of the island. (We didn't make it because the dogs).

Great for a day of relaxation by the sea, the true sea, clean white sand, with 30bath from the pier to pattaya arrive by barge in about 40/45 minutes, best beach, Tien Beach, quiet and clean. Absolutely go there!

A 30-minute drive from Pattaya, well-developed infrastructure, beaches are good.

By the way, in Pattaya still have nowhere to swim (except for the military beach (30-40 min to go) and on Koh Lan can be reached by ferry, 30 min (30 baht per person) to the ferry of course still to reach or get there!
Tip: If for you a beach holiday is important, take a hotel in Pattaya on Beach Road, there on foot to pier 10 min and you on a ferry already rush on a beautiful island with white sand and the blue sea!
It has several beaches: Tien, Saba, Monkey Beach Beautiful, water and animals (sea urchins, cucumbers and fish) was only on Monkey + wild Monkey!
They can be fed but we just watched!
On the beaches of cafes, prices are more expensive than in Pattaya food-200-300 Baht per person-sunbed 100 baht-on the island Ride Tuk Tookie (30 baht) — Moped (rent 250-350 baht) How to arrange!

Mesmerising island. Beauty all over. Clear water. 1 suggestion who visited pattaya & take a day trip to this island I would recommend them to stay night there & come next day to pattaya…

Lovely island. Top tips. 1. Buy ticket on ferry 30 baht 2, hire motorbike for 300 baht (fixed price don’t pay more and you won’t get it for less) 3, take ID or you won’t get a bike 4, ride up to Buddha for amazing views 5, be daring and have a paraglide at 2, 000 baht 6, take your time on the roads 7, drink lots 8, find a bar over looking the sea not a road 9, don’t miss your ferry back 10, lots of Russians on the busy beaches 11, stunning place apart from a bit of litter that needs sorting. 12, not many bins on the island so take your rubbish home (don’t add to the problem) Enjoy.

What you can see from my photo is how residents keep their place: not what you can see from mostly tourists pictures. But what's behind, just few meters off tourists places.
they live in a potential paradise but, if they keep having this way of life, soon no one will visit this island.

A really dirty place, there has to be a time these folks realize there is no fun in swimming with trash. The day people leave this island won't be a trash bin, the locals have to start reinvesting the cash they are making. A big NO And yes, the island once was a paradise before we came here.

Great Island! Take the bike and all day on the beaches.

Coral Island near Pattaya (Koh Larn) Islands near Pattaya. Coral Island near Pattaya is a little piece of paradise beyond the hustle and bustle of Pattaya. Although Thailand’s famous beach resort town would not be your first thought when imagining a cerulean blue sea and a long stretch of pristine beach void of high-rise buildings and away from the claws of civilization, this little idyllic island offers exactly that and is just a short ferry ride away from Walking Street. Also known by its Thai name of Koh Larn (and sometimes as Larn Island), Coral Island is situated 7.5 kilometres west of Pattaya Beach. It has long been an alternative retreat for those who have become jaded with Pattaya’s overdeveloped and overcrowded beaches. Since the island is not so far away, visitors can easily go there in the morning, stay for several hours and then come back to Pattaya Beach in the late afternoon. The most convenient way of doing this is by taking a guided tour.

Beautiful beach. Seafoods are cheap and servers are very hospitable.

Ko Lan is in the Gulf of Thailand. It’s known for its beaches, set against a backdrop of wooded hills. In the north, Ta Waen Beach is dotted with restaurants and shops. A large, stingray-shaped building dominates Samae Beach’s north end.
