Shayne Hostel Hostel

Oat (the owner) is so friendly and full of local knowledge. Really chilled out in the hostel and it's always clean. Private rooftops for drinks and/or smoking. There is a lot of Oat's art is hung up in the lobby/breakfast/chill out area. I couldn't recommend this hostel more.

By far the best hostel I stayed at throughout my south East Asia travels. It's so clean and nice that I came back for another few nights. The owner oat is very friendly. It's a shame I came during low tourist season so there were not many other travelers staying there. If I ever come back to Bangkok, I will most certainly stay here again.

I saw a lot of hostels all around the world but this hostel is the best. The owner is an amazing person and everything is perfect. The bed is amazing, everything is clean and you feel like a part of a family.

Shayne Hostel is among the cleanest and well-run hostels I have encountered throughout my travels around the world. It feels more like a home than it does a hostel, and its owner Oat is wonderfully helpful with giving recommendations of things to do in Bangkok, booking taxis, helping with laundry, and even sharing a meal. My friends and I even enjoyed a barbecue with Oat and Tim, another Shayne Hostel staff member who is fully fluent in English and Thai. The location is perfect and within walking distance from Khao San Road (but far enough away that it is quiet), there is a 7/11 directly next door, and countless restaurants nearby. It is a perfect place to stay for groups or for lone travelers who are looking for a place to either relax or make friends. The bathrooms are VERY clean with an excellent shower, the AC is very strong, the beds are comfortable, and the quality of Oat and Tim's company is its best feature. Looking forward to staying at Shayne Hostel again!

The best hostel I have ever lived in Very friendly Thai owner, facilities and bathrooms are rather like in 4 star hotel then a hostel and the price totally reasonable. Owner and his wife often cook for everyone without asking a penny for it. Pool table, roof garden and just a perfect location. The please is just great! I totally recommended.

Super staff, very clean, quite&cosy dorms, there is a roof top to chill in the noisy Bkk, nearby all points of interest, breakfast is good : cereals, café, milk, eggs, toasts & butter jam & fruits, good Wi-Fi connexion. 100% recomendable.

I only booked one night here in Bangkok between destinations but wish I could have stayed longer. Super helpful staff, beautiful main room and reception with lots of large artwork on the walls and pool table. The rooms themselves had large comfortable beds with shades you could draw for privacy on each bed. And it was super cheap too! Oh and hot showers with large rainfall shower heads. Definitely recommended.

This hostel is the best I have ever stayed in, the owner (p odd) is the best guy. He organized a bqq for us, also stayed to drink and partied with us. The room/toilets 10/10 also a great private roof top to enjoy quiet drinks. Now this hostel is also an art exhibition created by p odd himself. If you are in Bangkok this place is a must the location is a walking distance to everything. Thank you for helping us create the most unforgettable memory :) :)

Good location, near the test road, and not as noisy as living in the Test road, the bosses are very good.
