Absolutely a gem in Bangkok! The hotel is close to everything but feels like a resort in the countryside, affording guests with the soothing tranquility they deserve. The rooms are spacious and luxuriously furnished, the fitness center is a true gym with a sauna, jacuzzi and super clean showers. The breakfast buffet is exquisite and offers fine food (e. G jamon iberico, egg truffle, organic raw honeycomb, etc) but the BEST part about the Sukhothai is the STAFF! They go above and beyond to make sure guests are happy and feel at home, always attend to your questions or requests with a smile. Thank you The Sukhothai for a wonderful stay, I know where I’ll call home again next time I’m in BKK!

Reception attitude need improve, no service mind, feel not so welcomed comparing with Cappella. Dining area staff isn’t helpful too, when you ask something about facility, they guide you to reception.

Great breakfast at the club lounge. This place offers a great variety of dishes ranging from asian to continental. It is surprisingly great that khun Ploy could recognise us from our last visits. That makes today visit very special. We would like to thanks khun Ploy and all staff for delivering such a great service and hospitality. We will return, highly recommended 👍👍

The hotel truly is a peaceful reprieve from the noisy, chaotic city. The staff and service is 5 star and our room was incredibly spacious with a lovely view of the garden.

Very nice and helpful staff, very stylish interior design. Good food and good swimming pool. Just that the room is a little bit old, there was much moisture in the air and on the bed lining. Our room had some problems of the toilet and the shower room (the water flooded out the shower room to the whole bathroom easily). Even though they called workers to fix it immediately, still it’s the weak point of this hotel. Besides, there was place to do the laundry for ourselves. The price of laundry service was extremely high.

This place is fancy but laid back, really nice vibe if you want to class it up or just be in a pamper-rich environment. The pool is lovely! You can do laps it’s so big. And, the hotel is set off from the street a good ways so it’s nice a quiet.

As per Thai standard of hotel, this place is stylish, the staff extremely helpful and service is excellent. The pool is large and I noticed not full of chlorine but rather with salt, much better for your skin and eyes. Small details like that are found all around the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel is worth the price. Rooms are spacious and well designed. The hotel has a tranquil and relax feel to it, with long corridors surrounding tranquility pools, with lots of green space. Over all a great stay.

Went for the "Chocolate Buffet" afternoon tea. Fabulous spread. Lovely food. Great staff, very helpful and attentive. Knowledgeable chef was on hand to explain the dishes and make hot chocolate to order with your choice of chocolate and spices. I ate until I couldn't eat any more. Delicious!

Excellent service and delicious food. Be sure to specify how spicy you would like things because they can assume that a western person doesn't like it spicy. Still, it was delicious and we were looked after. They have traditional Thai dancers performing and it is not too intrusive. Will definitely go back again.

Simply The Best Experience Ever! Staying at the sukhothai hotel has proved to be the Highlight of my Amazing Trip to Bangkok and, most likely, the best lodging experience ever. The hotel Staff is always smiling and willing to make your stay as comfortable, pleasant and unforgettable as possible. Every single detail is thought of and taken care of. It's impressive how promptly and efficiently they are. My sincere compliments to the entire staff pf this fantastic hotel!

From the moment that the view of the hotel now comes out with a good impression… The people who work aca is extremely polite, all of them want that their stay is the best possible. The Happy Hour is good also but the Breakfast every day and lunch on Sundays are excellent. Sure that is one of the best hotels that I have been.

Wonderful oasis in the middle of Bangkok. In financial district next to famed Banyan Tree — not the most convenient for tourist things but great to come back to after a hot day seeing the sites. Impeccable service, good food, nice rooms. Understand why it's one of the best hotels in the area. Be warned — they have a loose "dress code" — don't dress like a scrub.

In a luxury style of the years 90 the Sukhothai remains in the top thanks to its restaurants and especially its "small" lunch worthy of the high-end European standards. A refreshing is going on with the opening of new rooms so everything is fine.

This is my first time to stay at The Sukhothai Bangkok. We chose pick up by Limousine from Airport to Hotel and the driver is very polite and strong Wi-Fi during our journey. All the staffs are friendly, polite, especially Jay from the Front Office. Room was clean and very spacious, bed are comfortable and quiet, sleep well for 3 nights during our stay. Buffet breakfast is very good, especially for the egg station, there are 4 people working as a team with good team spirit at the egg station. The most impress is that we can order egg benedict at the egg station and the taste is delicious. Moreover, we enjoy the chocolate buffet on 23 Dec 2017 after check in and the Chocolate Chef is so professional when he explain the different type of chocolate to us. Highly recommend everyone should try their chocolate buffet during your stay. Swimming pool is nice. The hotel is locate in the commercial area and easy to find the Taxi or Subway or Sky Train. Last but not least, thank you for providing so good service from all the staffs and I will definitely stay with The Sukhothai Bangkok in the near future.

Beautiful room, very clean, spacious, bathroom was excellent, especially the tub. The toilet is in a separate room with a heated seat. Also, the staff was very friendly and always trying to assist in any way. The location of the hotel is superb. When walking towards the hotel building off Sathorn Rd. You find yourself walking in an oasis of piece and quietness. It's like heaven in the busy city of Bangkok.

Resort type of hotel in the middle of the city. Wow! Though the price is high. It's one of the best hotel in Bangkok. Try their buffet lunch and dinner… It's super nice! I can't find the pool though. Weird how they manage to "hide" their swimming pool.

If you wish to stay in a luxurious hotel, quiet and really isolated from the madding crowd, this is definitely your hotel, its design, in various buildings, not higher than 5 floors and between gardens, fountains, lush trees and terraces, recreate an atmosphere really relaxing and welcoming, service can not say least, is exquisite, the decor of the room nor can you ask for more, with fine woods and linens linen and silks, spaces, large, terrace, non-'ll tell you more… find out!

Urban hotels preferred, make quiet, accommodation, food, environment, atmosphere, service are five-star level standards, the reason for four stars, only because there is no subway station, if you do not care about this, it is absolutely five stars above the antique Thai style of five-star sprinkling shop.

Went for dinner buffet. Overall was okay except Roast Beef steak was very sticky. I also heard a man who sat at table beside me also complained to the waitress that he cannot even cut the beef. The chef must know but I have no idea why they still serve it. The quality of the raw material is the root cause. Just can’t believe this 5 star hotel’s buffet serve very low quality beef.

The rooms are really lovely, the people are so accommodating, the happy hour is fantastic and the jazz singer Coco in the bar was great. Had a foot massage that cured my body of all ills. The grounds are really nice. Had dinner in the Celadon and loved the dancers and the food. The breakfast buffet is seriously the best I have ever seen! I love this place and it was a perfect first stop. The people of Thailand are the most gracious of any country I have visited. The only reason I did not give 5 stars… 1) electrical problem two days in a row in our room and 2) not enough places to plug in. So many great things here and I would go back in a heartbeat!

Very nice hotel and an oasis of tranquility in Bamgkok.

For the price of Buffet Lunch, the contents and choices of food are limited. It isn't worth it for the value. Seafood that consists of crabs and shrimps weren' t very fresh. I ordered tea but I have to get up to get sugar from another table. I have been to many other 5 Star hotels where the buffet lunches were cheaper with more varieties of food.

Our city break made extra memorable with our stay at The Sukhothai Bangkok. Without exception, staff delighted us with their passion in serving with heartfelt warmth and smiles. We are particularly grateful for the surprised upgrade so as I could be nearer the lifts having strained my calf muscles five days earlier. This was very observant and thoughtful of Khun Oil. We also dearly appreciate Khun Toon's attention and welcome from the day we arrived to the evening of our departure and her assistance in getting us a cab to the airport on a very busy night. Glad to say we got there in time! Needless to say the Buffet Breakfast in the Collonade and Tea in Thimian were absolutely sumptuous and delightful. If we plan a future visit to Bangkok we will definitely not hesitate to stay at The Sukhothai!

The Sunday atmosphere, the cello, the Champagne tower, the 㡳 space, the National Consul star model, the finest, and the chef made the ⋯ every time I went to Bangkok, Sunday, I was sukhothai!. (Buffet is not accepted for heavy slipper shorts)

Amazing resort atmosphere right in the heart of a busy city. Would have gotten 5 stars in this review if the rooms were updated. However the first class service and F&B quality more than made up for the slightly dated rooms.

Just amazing, never experienced such luxury and personal attention, pool and gym were great, too bad I only stayed one night.

A 3 star hotel with 5 star requirements: Service: 4/5 — very good, everyone is polite and treats you well Room: old, thin walls through which you can easily hear your neighbors, has stains on the walls and linen Prices: don't understand the deal about their cosmic breakfast prices. The hotel doesn't fit these prices at all. At best, I would give it 3 stars. A piece of bread with tea and water costs 880 baht! Conclusion: for this kind of prices you may get a much cleaner and bigger room somewhere else.

We went on a farewell sleepover with friends. We loved the place, the location and the service was delightful! Highly recommended even for a staycation.

Spacious rooms. Well trained staff. Everything that is offered has a super quality. A hotel like in good old times. It is worth the price in every relationship. Walking distance to subway five minutes. BTS Twelve minutes. Sunday Brunch as never seen before: everything at its finest, with live music, 12:00 to 15:00. Highly recommended.

I've stayed at many hotels in bangkok. This is the best by far. Executive suites are beautiful huge rooms. Great service, warm relaxed but elegant atmosphere. Close to sky rail. Probably one of my favourite hotels on the planet also.

Nice and elegant hotel. Restaurants are good. It is elegant but for some might feel a tad too formal and too quiet if you enjoy lively places full of people hopping around.

True 5 Star hotel. Service, accommodations and dining venues are very good. Love La Scala Italian which looks out to the resort pool. Very good food, especially the pastas and pizza. Lunch is a very good value with many choices and set prices. Chef Michele is a true talent and always has a smile and greets guests when time allows.

Enjoyed the "boutique" feel of the Sukhothai. Loved the pool area, architecture and art throughout the property. Really made you feel at home.

This is by far my favorite up-class hotel! It's not the most expensive or luxurious hotel, but is always welcoming and really makes you feel at home. Courteous and knowledgeable staff, calm ambience, cozy pool side, elegant rooms, you name it. The only thing this hotel lacks is perhaps a roof-top bar with the view of Bangkok, which is easily solved if you visit the Banyan Tree next door. Highly recommend.
