Not in the most central of places; you won't stumble across mellow fellow, but that also adds to its appeal. Its a relatively small hostel, about 8 rooms. It's nice and clean, quiet, pleasant staff, and AC. Rooms are small, but you don't need that much space if there to explore Bangkok.

Mellow Fellow is the hidden gem of hostels in Bangkok! The clean and crisp white sheets in the dorms don't say enough, the friendly staff and cozy environment will. They also offer a decent breakfast, of cereals and toasts, during your stay.

The staff is humble and informative, good in english. The room is tidy and as expected. I slept well here. Cheap place for family or group.

Not that close to the main tourist areas but and is slightly hidden, but the instructions provided make it very easy to find. The taxi to the Grand Palace would cost about 60 baht (for example). The hostel itself is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. There’s a few snack jars and coffee and tea provided in the main area. Staff was also very helpful with everything we needed as well!

Awesome place. Super friendly staff, pretty close to the main city, a couple of minutes away. Beds are nice. Like everywhere in Thailand you will find small ants. Their breakfast is toast and jam/coffee.

Pretty good for a hostel of its size. Very nice and polite staff who were easy to communicate with! A bit hard to find even for some taxi drivers but you get the hang of the neighborhood quite quick. Good location in you are into shopping And BKK city life for a fair price. Clean and fairly modern rooms but the beds were a bit to hard if you ask me. Highly recommend for shorter visits in Bangkok!

My girlfriend and I checked in later than the fixed working hour for the reception desk but Pipe is willing to wait for us as our uber driver wasn't able to find the exact location of the hostel. Location wise it is very much center of Bangkok and very much convenient to walk around as there are abundance amount of food nearby. Plus, they provide information such as tickets, locations and areas of interest around Bangkok. They also have a wall full of post-it notes of tips fr…om previous guests so that helps. As for the hostel wise itself, the facilities are adequate, rooms are clean and spacious. They provide padlocks and towels for rent.
As for toiletries, they provide shampoo and liquid soap but you can bring your own. Remember please bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Special shout out to Pipe for willing to stay late to assist in our check-in, Por for being so helpful and accommodating and Earn for the gift, truly appreciate it. We didn't get to meet the whole gang but we want you all to know you are awesome hosts.

Really clean, the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms clean. Free breakfast The only drawback is the location, you have to walk a few minutes to get on the main street.

It's a clean and tidy place, with 24 hr coffee and snacks available. Rooms are good and spacious for a hostel and all essentials are easily available. Kitchen has a toaster, microwave and a fridge. Plus the hosts are really kind and helpful.

Small cozy hostel, bed with curtain, clean and well maintain. Can walk to Jim Thompson / MBK by crossing the khlongs. Awesome staff. Lots of food vendor nearby.

So we loved this hostel so much we stayed for the entire time we were im Bangkok. The staff are super friendly, its cleaned everyday, in a quiet area and the breakfast was ok. Its a 2min walk to the skytrain so you can venture to places (sky train is easy, fast and cheap) the area has a great cafe by day rock bar by night. Theres a great little resturant called Rife does good food, not to mention pork noodle lady 50baht. One of the best hostels in Bangkok. Definatly worth a stay.

Very nice place, clean and foreigner friendly. Everyday self-service breakfast was extra surprise. Location is very good — close to BTS and City Link — airport train.

Not very well set out and needs some work. Our room (4 bed dorm) didn't seem to fit our things and although the staff were happy and cheerful not the most helpful.

A well managed cute little hostel in a very accessible location. The hosts are really friendly. The beds are neat and too cozy. They have a kitchen where u can prepare your own meals anytime; they also provide free breakfast and Wi-Fi. I fell in love with their jar of pineapple crackers; these snacks are available all through the day.

Clean, neat and nice place for backpackers. Hosts are really sweet and they made sure we got rooms before the checkin time and they were very friendly. We got a chance to meet lot of other travellers too.

Great hostel and accessible to central shopping district and street food is available all around it. Highly recommended.

It was a tiring arrival as I arrived to hostel at 1000hrs after long 7hrs of flight, I suggest mellow fellow to arrange something for the guest arriving before check in time, the staff were supercool, helpful and friendly perfect location, breakfast and comfy dorm, cool Wi-Fi and superclean, I liked the smoking area,, on mt second visit definitely mellow fellow.

The hostels staffs are very helpful. They helped us booking bus & calling cabs. You can plan your Thailand trip through them. Rooms are mostly dormitories… 4 bunk beds in one room & shared toilets… Great value for money.

I don't have any complain staying in this hostel. Comfy and clean for a friendly rate hostel. Can be a best choice for those with budget trip in Bangkok.

Great hostel in Asia crossing — you can find thai, Chinese and Japanese cuisine located in 5 minutes from hostel. Bed and pillows so comfy. Breakfast was nice option! (Cereals, banana, toastes, milk, coffee, etc. ) Friendly staff. Clean towels and lining.

One of the better hostels i've stayed at in bangkok. 350/ — a night is a bit more than other hostels but I found it worth it for myself. I appreciated the bed curtains so you have your privacy. The AC is excellent and they run it 24/7 which is a huge plus especially during summer afternoons. A decent common area and good bathrooms.

I spent 1 night here earlier this month and this is without a doubt the best hostel I've ever stayed at. I wish I could have spent some more time over there. Beds are really comfortable and you have some privacy thanks to the little curtain and bathroom facilities are nice too. It's a great place to meet new people thanks to the common room downstairs. The best thing about this hostel though are the people working there. They were incredibly nice and even let me change the date of my arrival the day before without charge. They also helped me a lot with trying to contact the airport when my flight got cancelled. I immediately felt home here. I have nothing but good things to say about this hostel. If I ever come back to Bangkok (hopefully! ) I will book here again without a doubt. Thank you for everything!

It is for a very mellow fellow in deed. What a lovely place with friendly staff, quaint, modern, chic and quirky. It's very clean and all the extras make all the difference from the breakfast to the massage slippers and cotton buds and shampoo they leave for you. Comfy and private dorm beds with everything you need and proper quilts. In a great location for getting around the city and great transport links. I would definitely come back here and recommend this.
