Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor

Condo Hotel

Given the location I was expecting a smaller room but was pleasantly surprised. The room was well appointed and the furniture was newer and of a higher quality than some of the other Somerset and Ascott properties in Bangkok. The bathroom, in particular, was spacious and airy. The infiniti pool offered a nice view of the Thonglo area. Right outside the hotel was a well received southern Thai restaurant. Being Thonglor, there was no shortage of Japanese restaurants. The only shortcoming was its distance to the BTS. Although only about ten minutes' walk away, it felt longer when you are in a rush. The hotel did offer a shuttle but you have to time it right.

Had a lovely stay here. The staff are friendly and polite. The room I had is spacious and provided everything you might need during your stay, even laundry detergent. Location-wise, it is right in heart of Thonglor. It is within walking distance to many cafes and eateries, as well as the BTS station, making it convenient to get around.

Great studio type room with kitchenette, fridge etc. Average breakfast to improve. Nearby Train 10 minutes walk.

Nice location… quite near to bts station … Very hospitable staff … it was home away from home for my 5 day stay … I enjoyed my bangkok stay. The staff helps u in every way … v polite and nice people … I had a very pleasant stay there. Would recommend my friends and my family.

Quite far from shopping malls area. Since, japanese targeted hotel, a lots of japanese foods and japanese style shops are around that hotels. Front desk staffs aren't well-trained, we have to line up more than 30min. Late 20min for airport transfer ride. Breakfast was nice. Most of Japanese foods are served. waiters are Burmese.

Carpets are a bit musky in the hallways but overall nice rooms. Closet system could be better.

This is high class service apartment hotel, good room with all daily household appliance. And it's better than kantery.

Very nice business hotel in an a very convenient area for those working or visiting Bangkok. Conveniently located on Sukhumvit 53 in Thonglor, it’s only about 5-7min walk to Thonglor BTS station to connect through to the central Bangkok stations. The service is very good with the staff having a competent level of English. The room was very clean and tidy with free water and self contained amenities. Breakfast was also very nice, however it’s a limited range of options. Very nice infinity pool looks out to Northwest Bangkok. Would absolutely stay again.

In fact, there is a apartment is good, next to BK I will try, the department Thonglor from the BTS straight line about 10 minutes ⋯ near a lot of Japanese restaurant with massage shop, opposite there tops supermarket, if Zong eat oyster Zhongzheng ⋯the dock on the opposite, solar eclipse are Thonglor Somerset Service Residence Good, there are two bedroom should have 1000 sq ft, maintenance, swimming pool is, there are 㕑 rooms, two toilets ⋯like the only point ⋯ price expensive arize.

Nice and beautiful place. Very inexpensive but lovely. Rooms are spacious.

The apartment has everything it needs for a successful stay in Bangkok. Washing machine incl. Dryer function, nice view on Bangkok with small balcony (which however is not accessible), spacious bathroom with bathtub and hand — as well as rain shower, large fridge with generous freezer, cooker (2 plates), microwave, a nice Sitting area and a comfortable couch. Large suitcases can be comfortably accommodated in the cupboard, where ironing board and iron as well as a room safe are available. The hotel's bar with a great Infinitypool, open from 6-22 am, offers great food and an even more amazing atmosphere. The fitness center can be used around the clock. The cleanliness and facilities are very good! I book again for my next visit, especially as the price is top. All around a recommendation!

Fabulous hotel, spacious rooms and superb facilities. I have stayed in this hotel on 2 different occasions and have always enjoyed my stay with them. The staff are attentive, pro active and super efficient. I will definitely be staying here the next time I'm in bkk and will definitely recommend this to anyone who has this on their short list of hotels for their stay in bkk. Thank u for the birthday pie. I love how u guys treated us during a few days in here. Thank u for keeping a nice standard everytime I visited. What an impressive moment, all the receptions is very helpful, I couldnt name them all but they all help. A half Burmese-Nepal girl who has brown skin with duty on the kitchen was very nice… and she made my day until my last day before leaving this hotel. One thing I concern is … it wasnt ur fault but I feel a bit shy when u wrot…e letter to me on both welcome back or birthday letter which refer my title name as mr. While I am a female transgender. Thank you

Comfortable serviced apartment in central Bangkok. There are studio up to 2-bedroom apartment suites for short and long-term rental. The breakfast spread is not extensive but the basics of fruit, breads, cereals, and eggs are covered. The infinite pool is nice and there is a small gym as well. All units come with kitchenettes and deep soaking bathtubs.

Disgusting, cheap, no service and smiles. Sidestep this hostel, for the money you can live in an excellent 5* hotel!

Nice apartment but pity the restaurant isn't fully utilized.

If you want to experience living like a local and yet with the comfort of your own home this is the place. Wide variety of international and authentic Thai restaurants to choose from within walking distance. We been staying at this Somerset more than half a dozen times in the last 4 years we visited Bangkok. Coming back each time is like returning home as everyone from the front desk to the bell hop to the manager remember us. Highly recommended.

It is an efficient service apartment with a focus on the japanese business people.
