Nungwi is amazing place for pleasure.

Great breakfast with a wide range of freshly cut fruits. Friendly manager who showed us around the neighbourhood and organised a local snorkeling to the Mnemba Atoll at an affordable cost. Highly recommend this snorkeling trip!

Nungwi house communicated with us perfectly from the time of booking until leaving. A modern taxi was waiting for us on arrival to the airport with a board holding my name. When we got to Nungwi house, we were greeted by Moudy the fabulous manager and Tito an amazing member of staff. They were both so lovely and friendly and explained how everything worked. The breakfast started from 8am and could be served until whenever. We had it at 1pm one day! It was delicious and consisted of a fruit platter, tea (including herbal) /coffee, plus soya milk. They were also able to adapt the eggs for avocado and accommodate a vegan diet. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Moudy then walked us to the beach and pointed out where would be a great place to eat. The food was fabulous! The following day, Moudy took us on an in depth tour around the village, explaining points of interest and answering all our questions as well as offering to help us with booking trips without taking commission! As we didn’t have cash, Moudy was able to book the snorkelling trip for us and add it on to our bill! He also walked us to the beach/boat in the morning. I had plans to visit a Deaf school in Stone Town, again he was able to sort out the taxi at a very reasonable price and he also advised us about visiting the Rock restaurant. I am so glad we booked here! I would 100% recommend it and would definitely stay here again. I actually told all the staff I wasn’t going to leave!

The Nungwi Guesthouse is by far my fav hotel in Nungwi! The rooms are beautifully decorated, and each room has an individual touch. Inside the guesthouse you can relax in the garden and have a chat with the manager or other guests. Breakfast is plenty, fresh and served all day! It is located a little away from the obnoxious bars and noise. If you want to experience Nungwi on a budget and away from the beachboy-madness, this is the place to be.

The rate quality price is very good, the place is nice, clean, beautiful, near to the beach. Is simple but the staff will advise you to have very good holidays. Totally recommendable.

Very nice staff, clean and well furnished rooms as well as a cosy breakfast area and garden. The breakfast is outstanding with fresh fruits, juice, eggs break and toast & chipatti. Within 2 min. You are at the beach and the location is less noisy than the beach line hotels. The hotel manager support in all possible ways and gives great tips for restaurants and activities.

Great place to stay in Nungwi for reasonable price. Quite rough road to drive in but worthy. Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, cosy rooms, no AC but not needed. We missed only a small fridge in the rooms.

Free tea & coffee 24/7 As the property is brand new, some amenities were still lacking: i. E. Mosquito nets which will be installed the end of the year (we asked the manager and got one right away), A/Cs will be installed in March 2018.
