Nice buffet dinner with my family, everything is as good as usual.

Great hotel for reasonable price. Good restaurant, nice bar, great gym. Service is perfect and very friendly. Room with a view on the airport. Fully equipped. Delicious Chardonnay. Especially the service of the staff in the executive lounge, Riva, Queenie, Jane, Shana, Silvia and Johnny, is impeccable! At front desk helped by Viean and Lucy, giving a feeling welcome service! Like coming home. For all contractual matters I have very pleasant communications with Ms Lilyan and Ms Yen Yen. Always available and flexible for arranging the craziest requests we have.

The bathtub water is obviously old.

The location is perfect if you want to be close to the airport, but otherwise it's very far from Taipei city. The room, breakfast were okay. They had a nice decoration in the lobby for the Chinese year of dog when I visited. There seemed to be a subway station next to the hotel.

Excellent facility with a very helpful and happy staff. I would absolutely stay here again. The only downside is there is no shopping in walking distance at all. A small store with typical convenience store items would make this place perfect.

Stayed here as my flight got delayed. The dinner buffet was fantastic while the breakfast buffet was okay. Service wise was top notch.

Foreign guests have stayed in this hotel think the environment is quite good, service is also very good, the focus is the location from the airport super Close no time pressure! Now you can go to anywhere in taipei easier by MRT Airport line, "AIRPORT HOTEL STATION" Staff so friendly and also services mind. If possible, request airport's view room. You can see aircraft Takeoff and Landing. Even hotel was nearly runway, but no have noise problem. 5 stars for you, Novotel.

Airport Shuttle staff attitude is very poor, the face stinks even if the guests tell you the first few airlines are also turned the eyes, help the passengers under the baggage also lost, a female passenger baggage almost fell, fortunately she had to hold, want to happy travellers to avoid this service attitude, do not know the name of the driver, but is 4/3 days in the morning 7 : 00 connections.

Massage by Amber during 60 minutes. Awful experience — please avoid! I believed it would be relaxing and calm after stressful day. However next day I woke up with a terrible migraine as a result of this incompetent massage. Being a frequent user of massages, I realize that this was really not good and compared to the Thai-massages not complete, in the sense that I was 45 min on my belly and only 10 min on my back during this massage. As a result there was no balance between the two sides. It took me 3 days to get rid of my migraine, so please stay away from this very expensive massage place.

I love staying here. Nice, clean rooms. Fairly comfortable needs by Asian standards. But the best thing is the food! The budgets are great! Lots to choose from and always fresh. I love the red potatoes at breakfast. Lots of Asian or European or American options.

Terrible experience… There is no standard process of paying so that we got harassed in midnight! They informed us that we only need to pay deposit while we check in and settle the bill when the time we check out. However, the employees of hotel knocked our door and insist that we need to pay the rest of charge right the time. It’s hard to believe that’s such an important thing they would rather throw away customer’s right than admit their mistake and keep their words to charge while we check out. Not to mention that we had another day to stay! It's so rude! It’s totally not deserve to be ranked as a 5 stars hotel.

Very nice hotel with wonderful and attentive staff. From check-in, exchanging money and checkout — everything was well organized. Breakfast had great variety in the restaurant. The suite was quite big and at the executive floor close to the lounge, which was nice to have a drink at the evening but the breakfast choices are limited, so I'd go the restaurant always unless you prefer the less busy setting and the great view from the lounge. The hotel offers a shuttle service to/from the airport. There is also a metro station right next to it to easily get into to City. The Metro only accepts cash (no credit cards).

Staff are friendly and responsive. Good location with frequent shuttle bus service to the airport. Room interior design is not so good. Many sharp table edges I beware if u have children. Flexible led lights on both sides of the bed but it doesn't stay in the position u want. Soap holder is not level so whatever you put may slide off.

The restaurant on the nine floor is super unpalatable and super expensive drinks difficult to drink selective less waiter status outside question afternoon tea main meal boring, fruit and Marcaro spell just, Marcaro dead sweet, chocolate canned boring. Hands down the best hotel my mother and I stayed before our flight back home to Canada. Out of all the hotels we stayed during our two month vacation, Novotel exceeded all expectations. Service was always 100%. They had a really good breakfast buffet with so many options. Gorgeous foyer. The room was decent as well. Housekeeping was very friendly. Would stay here again if I had the chance.

The staff was courteous and helpful and the accommodations were lovely! They even went above and beyond, storing my bags in a luggage closet after I checked out, so I could enjoy Taipei unencumbered for the rest of my layover the next morning and letting me use their gym shower when I returned so I didn't offend my entire flight home! They were absolute lifesavers and were a genuine pleasure to stay with all around.

From the time I showed up for checkin until I checked out my experience with the hotel was first rate. The staff greeted me promptly. The room was definitely worth the money I payed for the night. The gym/pool offered a great way to relieve stress so I could relax and sleep comfortably. The breakfast buffet provided a wide variety of foods that tasted great. The shuttle service to the airport was on time and convenient. Overall, I have no complaints about this hotel. I will definitely be staying here again. I recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for good place to sleep, eat, and relax.

The hotel was nice clean and the staff were great. HOWEVER, the rules for the lounge are a bit crazy. I can understand not wanting people to bring a entire meal or 4 or 5 drinks out but a cup of tea. That's ridiculous. I don't blame the staff because that's hotel policy but at 6am if the lounge is crowded and I want quite I should be able to get a cup of coffee and go to my room if I want.

Every year I stay here before go back to Japan of summer vacation in Taiwan. It's almost very useful and convenient for me. My favorite is breakfast here. I like eating breakfast (many kinds) taking sunshine from wide windows. Every time I take a shuttle bus at 7 o'clock at departure's day. In that time many people think same and the bus is very crowded. But in this time you gave us two buses for sending customer to airport. It's very good and I felt relief. Next year I'll visit here again. Thank you so much.

Great hotel. Looks very modern. Rooms good as long as you are on a high floor facing the airport. Beautiful view to see all the planes. Unfortunately not 5 stars due to slow internet, very slow elevators and nothing around to hotel. You are really isolated and just there for the hotel.

Novotel Taoyuan lives up to its name. It is a good business trip based hotel that has access only from the hotel to the airports. Room was good a and spacious. However the hotel lacked of character to the making the stay more enjoyable. Novotel could look into the possibility of having regular scheduled trips to Taoyuan city for guests to go or even regular trips to Taipei city itself. This would encourage guests travelling on business to extend their stay in the hotel rather than checking out. The ladies in the bar were engaging. Staffs who were cleaning the rooms were also very engaging and receptive. However I find that the staffs at the conference hall were not too engaging. That can be improved.

Rooms are good — the breakfast is maximum mediocre (bad coffee, mustard dried up, no more worthy of eating cheese). The bar closes at midnight — at an airport hotel?

Assistance of violation of human right (breaking in your room without search ticket with the ridiculous excuse "room service"), consider another hotel if you mind your own safety.

Stop at this hotel because I have a 23hr layover in Taiwan. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I made a reservation of 1 and a half day. I am surprised they have half day reservation which I can check out by 6pm. Also had a dinner buffer before heading to the airport again. Dinner buffet is NT800 per head. Not bad to compare with the quality.

Modern looking hotel, rooms are small, bathroom is a bad design, the bath tub, doesn't have a curtin or screen, so when shower, water can run on to the floor easily. Shower cream and shampoo are provided with small bottle, but quite big, is very wasteful, wall mount dispenser will be more environmental friendly. The hotel is located next to the airport, so some airport noise can ne heard at night. Buffet breakfast is ok, the restaurant is spacious.

Here is the reason why this hotel have many 4, 5 stars, but also a significant amount of 1 star. This hotel is about politics, because it is ran by communist Chinese. If you are a KMT person or a foreigner, they will treat you well. But if you are NOT in the KMT political party, they illegally bust down your door with a police and search your room like you are a criminal. In fact, 40-50% of the Taiwanese population is anti-KMT; therefore, there are so many Taiwanese Victims here… Taiwan is democracy, and you have the actual freedom on politics. This hotel must be illegal, I am sure one day, the manager will get arrested. The police was probably payed by the manager to do such horrible actions. I find it funny how people are not reporting this hotel when they are harassed.

I get assault by this hotel staff before. But their buffet is yummy! No door bell in all guest room, they should install door bell in each guest room. Their staff assault me for check-in only, when I stay with my parent in this hotel. My parent put the guest room only 1 person with 2 person in a room during check-in, at the end, I get assault and check in added 1 more person in this room.

I have been this hotel several weeks ago. The facilities and the services were awesome. But it is weird that there are lot of negative comments of this hotel in this website. However, most of comments were written in the same day, it is strange.

Modern and has a cool shower wall that is electronic. Its clear. Flip a switch and its opaque.

Especially if u have friends visiting u in room, they surely will break into your room to show their "concern"! And for keeping u safe they may send uniformed police to protect u and your friends. Don't miss it! Shame on Novotel! Tell all your friends in every country. Don't stay in any Novotel, cuz Novotel ignored human right, even in a democratic country.

Shame on you, Novotel. This hotel does not deserve any of your business. The staff members and Taiwanese policemen broke into Taiwanese political activist's room by saying "Room service" without permission. There was no illegal activity in the room. There was no noise complaints from the neighbors. Instead of protecting their customer's privacy, Novotel chose to "cooperate" and violated not only the privacy, but also basic human right of its customers. Shame on you Novotel. You do not deserve any business from Taiwanese people.

This is not a good choice for you to stay, my friend. This hotel just helped the government to break into the customer's room, to illegally search and imprison their guests, just to keep them from protesting against visiting China officials. And the way they handle the issue afterwards was rough, irresponsible, and full of lies. This is not a good place to stay. It shouldn't even be called a "hotel" at all.

This hotel is the worst in the world, but never have stayed in this place, but in this week passed the manager who is the authority of the hotel accompanied with 5 people who could not identify their indentidads also did not want to say who they were. The manager with the unknown broke the door and entered the room of the hotel. Very very very very very bad. It doesn't care customer's privacy at all. It let other break the door and enter customer's room! Is it legal? Really! never come back to live in this hotel. Without customer's promise, under no circumstances can you do that to your customer, you idiot hotel and you're done here. You'll lose your image from now on.

This hotel (are they still qualified the term "hotel"? ) allows police to break into customer's rooms without any notification or legal search warrant. If you want to experience the most preposterous scene from the movie, or you are obsessed in being interrupted while you are sleeping or showering or fxxking, I highly recommend this place. Otherwise, DO NOT ever try to live in this KMT's shit hole.
