(+++ points) The staff are very helpful and friendly. (a shout out to Daniel, Coco and Abby! ). The reception and rooms are fairly well maintained. They even have free make-up and you can ask to lend their weigh scale for your luggage! A hotel definitely worth the stay! It's conveniently located, walking distance from Xi Men MRT station, Taipei Main Station (for bus rides) and to Xi Men Ding night market. Walk downstairs and you'll find breakfast/lunch/dinner place next door! Oh, and Family Mart is around the corner! ideal location with affordable price! There is a shared "canteen" on B1 so you can just lounge, go online and have meals. There is also washing machine (on coins) for you! (-) Points: If you stay in dormitory, just be prepared to accommodate not-so-quiet roommates. If you are a light-sleeper, be patient. In-room shared toilet and bathroom — just okay cos you are sharing. Small space for European, fairly okay for Asian. You cab only refill your water on the 2nd floor (reception desk floor). If you stay on the 6th floor, you'll have to fill it before returning to your room, a little trip.

Truly a nightmarish hostel. Words can’t sum up the unpleasant experience I had. Room has been turned into a cage apartment by the girls who live in the room. Their clothes hung and strewn everywhere in the room, despite hostel policies to keep place spick and span. There is only one shared toilet on the floor, causing backlog of guests waiting to use it. Toilet is grimy and dark on the main hall. Shower in the room is clogged and caused massive flooding within toilet and you have to turn off the water for several minutes to let it drain (that’s only after 3 minutes of showering), it’s utterly horrendous. And the water temperature runs hot and cold at every interval minutes. Paid a handsome sum to say in this dingy hotel. Utterly absolutely terrible. The girls in the room are noisy up till 1 am, some don’t shut the door quietly when entering and leaving late at night. Hostel staff should enforce strict rules to occupants in the room to keep their things to the bare minimum. The room is filled with oversized luggage that hinders movement. The common area’s trash bin is overfilled with rubbish late at night. Overall staff are super nice and friendly but seriously management can do a lot better. Even their niceness can’t make up for the lack of room basic amenities. You’re better off finding other hostels in the area for much cheaper price. I checked out one day early to a nearby hostel that is much better equipped and well-kept.

You can see moud everywher and smell it. They should have a cleaner come and check the bin insdide the toilet more constantly, it smells so bad and disgusting during the days I stayed there.
