I believe this hostel is one of the best in Taipei, there are 6 floors, is clean and comfy, the staff is helpful and friendly, the common area is big with a big kitchen where snacks and beer are available to buy and a balcony, there are also board games. The rooms are quiet with almost no sound from outside, there is a shared toilet and showers, everything is clean. Also they organise tours in the city and outside for a really good price.

Clean and relatively new inn, staff are friendly and price is affordable considering its condition and location. Good choice to stay if you prefer lives in center/middle of Taipei.

Overall experience with backpacker's Inn in Taipei is excellent. They have well kept rooms, superb breakfast, and very accommodating staff who just don't provide information verbally (speaks fluent english) but they give printed copies. Also, it's very near NTU Hospital Station and nearby tourist spots such as the National Taiwan Museum. I very much recommend the place if you are looking for a place to stay in Taipei, Taiwan.

If you don't like to do this, don't do it. Ask a question, look like you owe you a lot of money.

Place was tidy and regularly cleaned. Bathrooms are well stocked. Most importantly, staff was very helpful.

Spare money also pay to buy! No toothpaste, toothbrush and towels! Only shared shower milk and shampoo, there is no electric light on the bed!? It's a lot worse than the average youth hotel outside! Sleeping up looks like such a ceiling! It really doesn't make people sleep! Is this called art? It makes people wonder … Counter staff to foreign guests to speak very polite, to the Chinese speech but poor attitude! It's a lot worse!

At first I was not impressed with the place but then it changed after I stayed here for a few nights. The service and room quality (aircon, cleanliness, quiet) is top notch and more than makes up for whatever minor annoyance I had in the beginning (which soon disappeared)

Breakfast are not included (despite what the other reviews might lead you to believe) and needs to be bought in the restaurant next door. Equipments are old. There are better options out there for backpackers. Space inn for example.

The double room is clean and tidy, the downstairs is the restaurant and the breakfast is exchanged here. The weight is not enough to eat.
The surrounding transportation is convenient, there are MRT, railway station, bus, Ubike, opposite is the park, presidential palace is also nearby, evening night market is also not far. All of these are easily accessible by walking.

It wasn't bad by any means, beds were nice. I just didnt like the lack of privacy. If you've heard of the hey bear hotel, their "capsules" offer much more privacy and room for charging electronics, etc.

My first impression when entering my room (205) : really nice. Fresh, colorful, not too small, with all you need, e. G. Large enough bathroom, tissues, a/c, flat screen tv, fridge, a kettle, a bottle of drinking water. The girls at the reception are nice and helpful, there is free breakfast, and the room, like the whole guesthouse is clean and colorful. Edit: now, in the end of my stay can I say that the daily room maintenance was also perfect. Changing towels, providing new drinking water bottles, making the bed like new, all was excellent. Plus, the free breakfast is exceptionally good. Breakfast is provided in the next door restaurant and differs every day. And there is as much coffee and tea as you like.

The room is small, but the three-person room has a large bathroom. The penthouse has a dart machine or some board game can play, can be a diversion. There are washing machines and dryers. But the machine accepts only 10 yuan coins, remembers first with the store change good change again to use. Breakfast in addition to bacon hard, the other is delicious, the service staff is very kind, do not charge a service, so remember to collect the dish. Accommodation has a 90 percent-volume meal, the next meal can be used, the housing period is useless, check-out will not be taken back. Near NTU station, just walk cross the road. Big, clean, and comfy room. Have high security. Staffs can communicate in English fluently. I love this place!

Good location near the Taipei Main Station. Very nice, English speaking employees at the front desk. Rooms fit 8-12 people so it is a bit cramped, but that is to be expected from a hostel.

The room is small but it has a Queen size bed. The bathroom is the shower so it gets all wet after the shower. It's not bad once you figure out the logistics and where to place the toiletries. The room, bed and bathroom are very clean. It's adequate for our stay as we only come back t the room to sleep. The staff are helpful and friendly. Tye breakfast is simple but enough to start the day. I will stay here again.

It's a great place for backpackers, quiet and nice place. Free espresso, americano @ milk tea and free surfing to Internet.

A good Hostel in a Central location. Has everything you need such as lockers and clean toilets. More but also not. There is a lack of authenticity, and there is little room for encounters with other travelers. Therefore, 4 Stars. To the pure Sleep however, it is completely ok.

Great quiet location but a quick walk to a local oriented night market, the MRT and plenty of other shopping & eating options. Rooms are set up with maybe 10 or so two person beds with both keycard access to the room and a private locker for each bed also with keycard access for personal belongings etc while you're out exploring Taipei. Each bed also has one electrical socket in it and a dim reading light, plus there is ample space for big backpacks / luggage to be stored that you don't need / want to put in the lockers. There is also a bar / restaurant on the top floor which is a great spot to hang out and use the Wi-Fi, relax with a beer, coffee or snack. Finally all of the staff were very friendly and spoke English quite comfortably, and are available 24 hours a day. Edit: Important detail that I forgot, this place is about a 10 — 15 minute walk from Taipei Main West Bus Terminal. From there you can take the 1819 bus to and from the Taoyuan International Airport 24 hours a day.

Kinda clean and had a good ambiance but ill try to check it out to see and experience to know if its true.

Give it to the Taiwanese to carve out livable space out of seemingly useless areas. I've never stayed in a room with so many people before! The multi-person room had 15 slots, most of which were doubles, so I'm estimating that my room housed close to 30 people. The curtain outside each slot was a nice privacy touch, as was the outlet and light by each bed. The walkways in the room were narrow, especially with people stacking their large rollerboards in the aisles, with lockers having limited space. Surprisingly, noise wasn't an issue in the room, although free earbuds were available at reception. The upstairs living room and balcony was a nice reprieve with a good view, as was a garden area which was outside, but without a view. The location was very convenient, easily walkable to the main train station, but if you'd like some privacy or space to work with, go for one of their private rooms that is quite hotel-like.

It's a very nice Hostel, staffs are very nice. It was a very good experience stay in here.
