Excellent hostel in perfect location. Firstly, location across street from Shilin market is convenient for trying out all the wonderful foods over the course of a few days. MRT station is a few blocks away, and 7-11 immediately next door. The hostel itself: clean and quiet, super comfortable mattress, great water pressure, free coffee/tea, good seating and work areas.

Every time we visit, we find that there are more activities in the museum.

An hostel well positioned in the heart of Taipei, This place is really elegant with a serene atmosphere. And you have a very quick access to the night market of Shilin the evening and the vegetable market the morning. You have a very good connection with the MRT of JianTan and citybikes that you can use for visiting the place. The materess are super confortable, the mainroom, rooms and the toilets are fancy and clean. The staff is also really kind and very friendly.

I've been here for almost a week, and I have to say the Hostel is super great! Located just right next to Shihlin Night market, Taipei's best and biggest night market, where you will be able to experience the Taiwanese evening style and discover some local food (The friendly staff will tell you where the best spots are)! You'll find everything you need at the Hostel from a nice kitchen to a modern lounge. You will also sleep in a comfy king size bed even in the dormitories. I would definitely come back again the next time I visit Taiwan!

Very nice and cozy place. Within 5 minutes from the MRT and 1 minute to the best night market in Taipei.

I stayed at Mono'tel for 3 weeks and I don't regret it at all. The staff is amazing and make you feel very welcome and treat you like family. They love to help you with everything and get to know you. It s very personal. The Hostel is very luxurious and well designed. So a thousand times better than other hostels I stayed at. But the most important thing which made my stay special was the staff and the people I met in the hostel. We really had an amazing time and so much fun together. I would always come back to this place. I am gonna miss you a lot guys!

To describe it with German words: Sehr geil! I had an amazing time at Mono'tel. I cannot think of a better place to stay in Taipei. The location is awesome. Very close to Shilin market and easy to find from the metro station. 7 eleven is right next to it and is open 24hrs. So perfect! The staff is super friendly, helpful and very funny. There is always something going on at Mono'tel. They really make you feel welcome and love to talk to you. Rooms and facilities are clean. I can totally recommend staying here.

Super nice, super clean, amazing location. Very comfortable place to stay, would recommend to anyone. Bunks are amazingly comfortable and private and the hostel is within steps of Schilin night market. Staff is very helpful and speak English well.

Special praise for the hotel, both the rooms and public spaces are very clean, live with roommates is also very nice, would have been to see the underground is also some worry about the environment is not good airtight or something, and later found the goose security is more considered.

Amazing Hostel! Totally new and lovely designed hostel in the heart of Shilin district just 3 minutes away from Jiantan MRT station. The dorm rooms are spacious and for your privacy you have curtains around each bed as well as reading light, shelf and charger in each bunk bed. I felt as well very safe there and you have access only with your key card. For breakfast​ you will get a KFC voucher which is around the corner. You can use all of the brand new kitchen facilities for cooking you own meal. In the common area / living room you find a lounge area as well as a huuuuge dining table to meet other travellers. The bathrooms are huge, totally equipped with shampoo, hair dryer etc. I can highly recommend staying in Mono'tel Hostel and would do so ever again!

Very clean and cozy hostel. The staff is friendly even when checking in at 3am. The kitchen, common room and bathrooms are amazing. Extremely close to the metro and right across street from the night market. I highly recommend!

The room and bathroom are very nice. Bathroom has shower gel, shampoo, and hair dryer. The people at the counter can speak English pretty well. There is also Seven Eleven right next to this hostel.

The rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean and nice. Rooms have capsule style beds fitted with USB ports, outlets and even a fan and nightlight. Slippers are also provides. The staff speaks good English and are very friendly and happy to help out. If I come back to Taipei I will be coming back!

The accomendations are great. The facility is very clean and the surrounding area has plenty to do. If you want to know what to eat around the area, just find a place with a line and I promise you will not be disappointed. The staff is very pleasant and the rooms are designed for the comfort of a 5 star hotel at an affordable price.
