The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful and the spa area great. The pool with the fantastic view is especially worth mentioning.

The hotel is very well located, and because of the bus stop in front of the house and the proximity to the train station, the car can also relax.
The hotel is very family — and pet friendly and both the owners and the service team, very helpful and friendly.
Thanks to the great wellness area and the excellent services of massage, ostheopatie, cosmetics, etc. Despite the rain and light cold, we never got bored.

This place is simply breathtaking. From the way you are treated when you arrive here, very clean and spacious rooms with an unbelievable view, the food, the spa and the infinity pool are amazing. I totally recommend it from the bottom of my heart… we had an amazing time here and definitely we will return.

Hotel Spinne is beautifuly situated whit magnificent mountains view from it's windows. My family and I spent there one week of our winter holidays. Room was very cozy, warm and clean whit comfortable beds and nice balcony. Every day we enjoyed different flavours of amazing dishes. Staff is very kind and helpful. It was real pleasure to use infinity pool, sauna or jacuzzi to relax after day on the slope. The whole place was magical, it was hard for us to leave. Thank you!

This hotel and the staff are amazing.

My stay was about the culinary aspect because I was attracted to the Italian name. The food, the waiters and the ambience were very friendly and I really enjoyed it. The service was very attentive (despite many guests) and there was always a demand if everything was okay or a wish is still open. As I said, for eating at any time, the hotel operation I can not judge.

Tasty pizza and camparitively reasonable price. Also the view from the restaurant is very beautiful which makes it even more memorable.

Top two things: everyone speaks English and theprice is reasonable. Views are phenomenal (given you get an eiger view room). Restaurant has a fantastic view, and great food (pizza grindelwald was absolutely delicious I ate it in one sitting). Staff are very attentive to questions and needs. Would recommend.

His strawberry pie is not like the Taste of the United States, sweet and delicious, the room asked the balcony to enjoy the mountain view, July every week — the day before the road night closed the street, there are artists performing every restaurant table are set on the street, very happy.

This place had one of the best garden terraces in Grindelwald. Fresh mint tea was made with mint from the garden!

Friendly good, good location with walking distance to cable and train station, a very good Mt Eiger view from the big balcony. Room is clean and nice.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and have just booked to go a third time in February of 2019. On both previous occasions we have stayed in the hotel annex which is positioned below the rear patio. Most recently we had room 306 which is south facing and has amazing views to the north face of the Eiger. The hotel is centrally located with a bus stop for travel in either direction directly outside. The main train station is only a 5 minute walk away and the First Bahn is also …a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction. The hotel is very clean, the staff extremely friendly and the Kaufmann family who own the hotel are usually about. The food is amazing and much better the second year we visited. We have also visited the hotel in the summer and although we didn’t stay at the hotel we did stop for a drink on the terrace, which was extremely relaxing as the views are spectacular!

We were there for 5nights in May 2018 n since we were with kids n pure vegetarian we had asked them for a sandwich or hash brown potatoes in breakfast they gav us boiled potatoes for 1 day n then next day said they dont have ny chef so cant give. Poor service nd not bothered at all.
Only one answer they have we cant do any thing. Would never suggest this hotel at all.

My wife and I stayed for 8 nights. Upon arriving they gave us a free upgrade to the suite without requesting anything special. Beautiful view, very nice staff, decent breakfast for a hotel (scrambled eggs and bacon! ). The room was large with windows that swung open or hinged outward from the top, which was helpful for the warm rooms (Swiss hotels don't have AC). We lost our AC converter on one of the trains and the front office had some spares they let us use. Highly recommend.

Bad dirt rundown even the stables are so shabby. To avoid absolutely.

Eiger view from the room is fantastic. Nice and clean room. Staffs are friendly and help for recommendation for walking route with beautiful view of the valley. There are no slippers in the room.

Small and warm hotel, floor distribution is not generally the whole layer in a horizontal plane, there are high and low scattered, and its shop name Spider seems to have a connection. The surrounding landscape is quite distinctive and the restaurant is feel.

It was good. Wi-Fi was a tiny bit spotty (if I were to nitpick hard), but place was clean and the staff was friendly. The balcony sight is beautiful.

No doubt to recommend this hotel, everything is so perfect. Good view from the bedroom balcony, cozy, clean and big room. So warm greeting from the hotel host. Free for using spa and swimming pool, breakfast can be served in the room.

Grindelwald is a nice little cosy ski resort that offers everything… Shops, train station, restaurants…
Great ski resorts… First, Kleine Scheidegg and male.
For years we come to the hotel spider, in the middle of the place and feel very comfortable there.
Nice rooms, great spa area, excellent breakfast buffet and good dinner in very cosy atmosphere. Always happy to be back.

Excellent hotel have stayed here for years. Staff are so helpful especially petra, Patric and grit. The kauffmans are excellent hosts too.

Very good location, everything close by, very tasty pizza (! ), morning Buffet excellente… pity that the room is in the basement, however Super terrase.

Visited the club at the Hotel Spider. Music was good and after 12 o'clock the club was also slowly filled properly. Good mood. Drinks might be a bit expensive. Otherwise OK.

Grindelwald Area Hotel, not far from the station, basically the room has a mountain view, the equipment is readily available, the overall is quite recommended. It is worth mentioning that the buffet breakfast level is quite high!

Delicious breakfast and nice rooms with a beautiful view. Convenient — walking distance to train station (Kleine Scheidegg or Männlichen). Bus stop just next to hotel (Firstbahn).

Great bar, friendly staff and great selection of drinks. Pizzas on Sunday are very good value at just 11 francs.

Randomly chose this restaurant and it turned out to be a great ending for our last night in Switzerland! If we ever go back, we would like to give the hotel a try since the restaurant is superb! Fantastic meal with amazing mountain view! Great service from Hanna and other friendly servers!

The location looks amazing, and far as our Gourmet heart may say, the menu card looks delicious. However it has happened for the very first time, that me and my wife got kicked (yes. ) out that incredibly impolite, rude and dismissive that we are left without words. The reason for this rude action was that we "only" ordered the wine list as we had our dinner before. We are experienced in high class locations, gourmet restaurants all around the world and we had our fair share of bad experiences, but never before have we felt like being slapped in the face by a lady so rude, that I had to write about it here. We may not be able to rate the food nor the selection of wine or the hotel service. But if a costumer gets treated that badly it may be an indicator. We are both never leaving a place without spending money worth a hosts time, we tip, we love people and we always always treat everybody with respect. The least you can expect is to be treated with that respect too.

Disco has bad quality of music too loudly, rattle boxes.

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel, everything was perfectly breakfasts, evening meals, wellness and Spa area, as well as the rooms. Even the super price, what if you want more.

Only SAD. We plan to ski but last day open. All ski area will be close.
