This Hotel is located in Grindelwald. It is beautiful and offers rooms as well as suites. Parking is easy and spacious. This hotel has a bar, a restaurant with two main dining areas and comfortable outside seating. The food is very good and beautifully served as one would expect in Switzerland. The portions are rather large. Breakfast is included and is nicely prepared with abundant choices for anyone's taste. Most of the personnel are kind, happy, and attentive. There is public transportation that you can take to go to town for shopping and dining or to take you up the surrounding mountains and go hiking. What we missed: a bathtub.

Lovely setting, in a lovely town. My one suggestion would be to put screens over the windows to keep the flies out. It was quite hot when we were there and it was suggested to keep the curtains closed in order to keep the flies out, but this didn't work that well, and it was too hot to close the windows. For a 4-star hotel, I should not have to keep swatting at flies in my room. That was my only complaint. Breakfast was amazing, the view from our room was fantastic, and the location was perfect for our stay.

We arrived at the Aspen Hotel at 10.00 PM to be greeted at the reception by Henrik. He was always in a great mood with a bubbly enthusiastic personality. We were whisked to our Penthouse suite which was absolutely stunning with views of Grindelwald and the valley contrasted by the huge mountains surrounding us on all sides. Our first impression was that it was even better than we had expected (my expectations are normally very high) and we were ecstatic. The whole ambience of the hotel including the dining area and bar was lovely and new; not old and grimy like most of the other places in the area. Our breakfast was great and the food was fantastic and consistent throughout our stay with excellent service. I can't recommend the place enough and we are looking forward to returning back for some more fun.

This is a high end hotel with top service. Prices are accordingly. The restaurant has terrific and delicious food. When we go to grindelwald we always stop here. By the way it is on the ski slope and has a sun terrace a good place to stop.

Very friendly welcome. All the staff were very friendly and always accommodating. The rooms are cosy and furnished in Aspen style. We immediately felt comfortable or Like home.
The breakfast buffet was very good. Also all menus and dishes from the menu were just perfect and a treat. A big compliment and thanks to the kitchen crew!
We will be happy to return and recommend the hotel to anyone.

We stayed over Easter at the Alpine Lifestyle and we had a total blast. Everything was just perfect. The service is amazing and always ready to help. The spa is marvellous and the food is so good that we stayed in every single night. Also, the room and the entire hotel have been renovated with a lot of taste and great attention to details. It was way above our expectations and yes, we will be back. Thanks to all.

Nice rooms but the breakfast as well as the wellness are to small. Dinner is overall ok and the wine menu is good. For half the price it would be great.

Unfortunately we had the most dreadful experience in the Aspen restaurant today! Too many things have gone wrong with our meal… from wrong orders to poor service. The management and the owner did not care at all when we made our complaint. This is certainly not what you would expect from a venue that is claiming to deliver luxury experience in Grindelwald. The prices are also way too high… CHF28 for a burger and you are not even allowed to choose how the meat snould be cooked? (We were told they can only to medium! ). We will not be going back ANYTIME SOON!

Very nice and modern hotel. You can also relax in the outdoor whirlpool in winter. The food, especially the meat is excellent.

Absolutely perfect family-run hotel with friendly chefs, competent staff and delicious caipi in one hotel! Super wellness area — something for everyone (kräutterbad, massages, steam bath, sauna, etc. ) Outdoor whirlpool with great view of the Eiger North Face.
Food star level — Location directly on the ski slope with ample parking! Thank you for the nice holiday, we will be happy to come back.

I am very happy with the service. Everything was very well presented UN and it has tasted great although far to drive but it was worth it. Warning if the character Aspen appears in 1200 meters please do not aufgehben it comes as twice as much.

We were very pleased. Nice staff, good food, wellness and very clean and cozy rooms. There is nothing to which we were dissatisfied.

Unfortunately, we had to go again without food. We were not welcome with a dog. We should sit at a table in a "Abstellkammmer" without windows overlooking the service buffet.

It’s a beautiful hotel with great SPA. I was there in November, which is between seasons with ski lifts closed, but it was so easy to go on walks and hiking. The area around is breathtakingly beautiful. The whole hotel team, from reception to restaurant, was extremely helpful and friendly. Outdoor swim-in / swim-out hot tub and lounge with log fire were my favourites. Good food and the mountain goat stew (chamoix) is to die for! 5 stars all over. If you looking for a high quality stylish hotel away from crowds (Aspen is about 3Km from Grindelwald village), this is a perfect destination.

Very beautiful location. But there was a road block that forced us to drive in very dangerous roads. The rooms are small and comfortable. The services are quick. The trip advisor were a little bit confused but very nice.

This is the quintessential holiday getaway, the perfect spot to appreciate the beauty of nature and soak in its embrace. It just cannot get better than this.

Wonderful structure. Great attention to detail — so why cant they get rid of the flies? Have water bags, lemon and cloves or anything to get rid of them from this pristine and serene place!

One of the best hotels in Berner Oberland, the location… the food… the beautiful rooms… the excellent care by the staff… and best of all the attention shown by the fantastic hosts Suzanne and Stefan.
Can only recommend this superb hotel in the highest terms, this is a place not to miss… get it on your bucket list!

We were surprised by this hotel which we liked very much. A skilful mix of professionalism and a relaxed and warm atmosphere. This very well designed and developed property owes a lot to its staff who knows how to enhance it by being in small care for its guests. Bravo!

The motto "The customer is King" is fully lived in the hotel Aspen. The guest and his well-being are absolutely at the heart.

I was often in the Aspen Grindelwald. Is always super: creative menus, very friendly staff, a small but stylish Spa… now area and a unique Cool Outdoor hot tub only have to get the snow. Because the direct track connection is really the ROAR! The après-ski is still comfortable. I can recommend all the Aspen. More for couples as for families.

I don’t think these reviews are true. I based my selection on them, unfortunately the called “Aspen hotel” is far over rated. I lived in this accommodation for three nights and it was below my and my family expectations. The location is very far from area attractions, cable cars, and tour trains. Old Rooms furniture, not maintained and not cleaned (the bathroom floor is slugged with soap and it seems no one did water wash them for long time). Spider’s nets are in corridor and room corners and lamp covers. No one is willing to answer the reception calls and if the owner did it will be rough answer (not expected at all…? ). Grindelwald is very nice area, however make sure that you have the right hotel.
