Excellent and varied food with our half-board package. All the staff are friendly and efficient with some very good tips on what to do from reception.
Wilderswil is quiet but with good access to local transport.

Great staff! The waitress took really good care of us and the food was high-quality. Absolutely impressed by the two young asian waitress who always smile and be really helpful. The dessert was really nice in my taste!
The room is a little bit not clean and it is noisy when people go up and downstair. No window in our room. I dont really like the room but the restaurant is good!
So if you want to come and eat dinner, I highly recommend!

By staying in this hotel, I learned a lot about it and discovered that Hotel Alpenblick Wilderswil is the most horrible place in Switzerland. If you care at all about the treatment of workers, please boycott this hotel. The owners, Richard and Yvonne Stöckli, are clinically insane. They treat everyone who works there with complete disrespect, demeaning them every chance they get. The Stöcklis are so unhappy in their relationship and with themselves that they try to make thems…elves feel better by belittling their staff. This hotel is already known in Switzerland as the worst place to work, so they hire immigrants from other countries who are not aware of the horrors of working here and pay them as little as they can. Then, the employees all quit within two months and they hire new staff, treat them like crap…so the vicious cycle continues. Then they work employees in violation of all labor laws in Switzerland: they do not provide adequate rest between shifts, often requiring employees to work until 23:00 and come in at 6:45; they do not provide the required two days off per week, often requiring employees to work 7 days per week; they do not allow the required vacation time; they violate contract provisions regularly; and when an employee leaves, they short him/her on salary. Please, I beg you, do not support this hotel. It needs to be shut down!

Don't recommend to book through july and august its very hot and there is no air condtion and they dont offer fan so nothing to be offered to help you at night to sleep also am 6.1 ft (182 cm) tall the bed is for short people could fit max 176 cm +/ — 2cm pros: The staff is very freindly Saftey box Break fast is decent there is a good health chioces cons: room small bed small no a/c nor fan or anything offerd no fridge no ice maker have to go down no elevator if you have kids and alot of bags do not recommend this hotel Hotel is 400 years old and alot of old people come to it and it not good for family with kids All with pictures to show what am talking about in my opinion take a room between September and april do not recommend between may and august.

Lovely 400 year old chalet hotel. Very fine restaurant, and do try the fruit flan with "bottomless coffee pot" in the terrace garden. Fabulous value at less than 7 Swiss francs.

We were in the renovated house. Room large. Bathroom unfortunately no window. Shower has very good shower. Bed good, sofa OK. TV too small/too far away. Breakfast okay, coffee not so good. Dinner very good. Asians in the staff Sprecheb only English.

Stayed there a few nights. Rooms are a bit nosy, not friendly for tall people just watch your head. No elevator for large luggage so no issues carrying it up the stairs but maybe a problem for others. Breakfast was good and friendly staff to show you what to visit in the area.

Cosy Hotel in a 400 years old traditional building. My room was newly renovated and small, quiet and clean. I noticed the comfortable mattress for a restful sleep. Well suited for Singelreisende.
The room rates with breakfast are moderate and justified.
A view of the Jungfraujoch is a pleasure from the balcony.
Professional travellers should be aware that breakfast is only available from 7am. For me the only negative point. I feel that this is too late.

We have just stayed here for five nights on a Rail Discoveries holiday to this area. The hotel is welcoming, the rooms more than adequate but the food is simply outstanding. Some of the best food I have ever eaten in a hotel that only has three stars. The Wi-Fi was effective too.

Quaint ambiance, excellent food and delicious breads at breakfast (of course there are also buns, cakes, croissants etc. ) We always like to come back. Service great. By the way, the Fleischfonfue (Tuesday) must have eaten once. A game of flavors.

If you are a food lover and you enjoy gourmet food, then the small gourmet restaurant in the back will be your little heaven. Very nice a delicate food with top service and wine. The wine book comes on its own table! Thank you for the lovely evening!

Yes, this is an old old hotel. If you want new luxury features then don't do there. If you want a true Swiss mountain experience then this is your place. My head was almost touch the ceiling in the shower but it worked fine. We had dinner in the restaurant and were very well received. The dinner was yummy and rather affordable for Swiss standards (we had the daily menu). This place obviously has a ton of history which lines up well with the entire area.

I stayed in hotel Alpenblick on June 26th, and had dinner in their restaurant. The hotel staff over charged me for dinner, and I was amused at the price to value ratio of the food. After my holiday, when I was back to India, I reached out to the hotel through TripAdvisor, and questioned their pricing logic. Richard, was quick to understand that there was something that went wrong in the billing. He was kind enough to apologize, and refunded the entire amount that was charged for the dinner to my visa card. With this sorted, I can now claim that my trip to Switzerland was the best. Had a very good trip, and met wonderful people. Thank you Hotel Alpenblick for ensuring that there nothing that I could complain about in Switzerland.

I loved the place. Small and swiss quirky. We were unlucky enough to hit Interlaken during Ramadan and this was the closet hotel with a room we could get. The food in the restaurant was great. Wouldn't stay for two many days if you want quietness but never the less loved it.

It's a beautiful family run hotel and restaurant. Where the rooms are clean and well maintained comfortable and cosy. The cuisine is made by Michelin star chef /owner Richard Stockli. His wife Yvonne runs front of house and with there staff your made to feel very welcome.
My husband and myself and two little dogs have stayed there numerous of times over the last 15years and return every time we go to Switzerland. Whether that's my Husband skiing or all of us walking in summer we just love it there it's become a home from home. Like family.

The service is too bad, this is Michelin recommended restaurant, Michelin standard is very low. Service is so bad, reception s very mean!

A colleague and I were there a few months ago on a business trip.
Advantages:
+ Finally a working Internet
+ Beautiful rooms, pleasantly furnished
+ Huge bathroom
+ The food in the restaurant balances out the long wait
Minus points:
-No Wi-Fi, only Internet via LAN cable
-Receptionist spoke only English (for me is not a problem, but in a hotel in the German-speaking we would expect, that the staff German can. )
-TV in the room was broken
-Operating in the restaurant waiting to be longer.

I didn't stay there but I had dinner and it is really nice food and place… I recommend to stop at this hotel for lunch/dinner.

Unfortunately, we have 20 min on the condition serviced only spoke English. 2 milchkaffe ordered and have coffee with cold milk. There would be no milchkaffe, or the operation knew it not. We are without a coffee and gone again. Too bad.

At first glance, everything seemed good, but on closer Look, the price was not justified. Here and there an old spider web in the corner or a Staubknäuel under the bed. The TV was broken. The decor in General is a little run down. In the Restaurant we had a fabulous wait 30 minutes until someone finally looked after us. The only consolation: the bathroom was clean and the people at the front Desk very accommodating.

Wanted to our 20. Wedding day with a Chateau Briand celebrate. 14 days before we wanted to book and from the Menu to register. Unfortunately, we were told, that would not go with the Chateau… we could instead have a Entercote Double. Sure we have our food taken elsewhere. We find it impossible for a Hotel Restaurant which is known for good food.

The people give mega effort, unfortunately, this does not always everything. It is a cute verwinkeltes Hotel, that we in spite of everything recommend can.

We had the tasting menu at the 1-star Michelin Gourmet restaurant. The food was exquisite, and the waitress very helpful in explaining what we were having at each course. If you're looking for fine dining in the Interlaken area, this is the place to go.
