Excellent service, professionalism with a smile.

Wonderful hotel. Exceptional service with staff with little care. Very good sommelier and welcome worthy of a palace. We will return with pleasure for the friendliness and care of the services offered.

Always a pleasure to come and enjoy this hotel so singular in its decoration. The details are always there and that's what makes it a different place. However the welcome of the staff was not as warm as during our other visits, professional but this little extra that existed, tarnished this visit. Certainly The mask did not help in communication, but not only.

Superb hotel, we slept in a great room overlooking the lake while was perfect. The staff are very efficient and very pleasant. On Sunday we ate brunch. Puts super good, a great choice and everything was very good. We were 11 people and we were put in a nice room so we were able to enjoy our family party. I recommend this hotel as well as the restaurant and will be back this summer to enjoy the terrace.

Can't say anything about the hotel except it is beautiful. My comment is about the Buddha bar thing. Music was great, ambiance too, the whole set up is also very nice. However, service was very disapointing, despite the fact that the staff was friendly. It took a while to get served, the waiter forgot one of our dishes, we had to wait at least 40 minutes to get it. Nobody came to take the dirty plate off the table for those same 40 minutes. Food was also very average. Good looking menu, but once in the plate, flavour was definitely missing. It was also overpriced. I don't mind paying, but please flabergast me when you charge 38. — for a tiny salad with two shrimps in it.

Top notch sevice, amenities and accommodations. Location is jaw dropping.

We made a reservation for lunch at 2pm for the Buddha bar today — I called to confirm and when we arrived they advised the kitchen closed at 2pm — they were very rude and not accommodating — they should not accept late bookings if the kitchen is not open. They did not even offer us a drink for the inconvenience. Very disappointing.

It's really nice place, I was visiting Vevey came from Canada, and I spent very good time with my friend in there, the view, the service, the people, actually everything was super.

The hotel offers a very warm feeling. It also has 2 nice restaurants and 1 small spa.

My first time at Vevey and I fell in love with it. Also accomplice this wonderful hotel located right in front of Lake Leman.
Delicious room overlooking the lake and pool, very comfortable bed. Cleaning the perfect room, they spent several times a day checking.
Breakfast is full of delicacies. The quality of the breadcrusts, fruit, jams, cured meats is excellent.
Never eaten so much fruit in my life, especially at breakfast!
Attentive and friendly staff, helpful and patient.
The hotel's property is wonderful, flowers everywhere, and cleanliness.
The Spa is interesting and pleasant with its corner relaxation loungers and herbal teas.
The restaurant I will speak in the review dedicated to him, but I anticipate that it was a wonderful experience…
The pool is not huge but always clean and the sunbed area is kept perfectly tidy. Also good pool bar service where I ate the best Croque Monsieur of all time!
I plan to return soon, a week flew too fast!

Few customers but staff too rushed for cards, order. It's sunny, the place is beautiful let us breathe!
Half tuna cooked overcooked including 1 return to the kitchen!
We are very disappointed and will not be coming back!

Quality Price in relation to the beautiful setting and standing. Nice drinks card. Deserves a visit for its location and architecture. Cosy lounge and lounge. A high-end hotel for fun and pleasure.

Food is amazing! Ambiance as well. BUT Service is very far from a 5 stars. We ordered food before getting wine menu, waiting endless for the menu, desert came wrong and bill as well (added a 90chf bottle of wine). For the price the service should have been spotless, domage.

An amazing Relais & Chateaux with beautiful rooms and views! The halls are filled with fragrant fresh flowers, the common areas are very comfortable, as well as beautiful. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The pillows… oh the pillows… are amazing! We look forward to returning and highly recommend Grand Hotel du Lac Vevey.

Prices are justified by the very high quality of service and customer care. Very tasty cocktail and mocktails served with elegance and proper time. Very satisfied.

We came Qqs x for brunch. Value for money nothing to say. Except it misses Qqs fresh fruit juice at the buffet. Service and hospitality very friendly. The daycare is very much appreciated by the children.

I find the staff extremely courteous and on the whole the service is excellent.
The restaurant is certainly above average but sadly the buffet lunches leave a lot to be desired.
The lack of a doorman and generally speaking the lack of anyone on the ground floor apart from the reception staff is somewhat surprising in a hotel of this category.

Great hotel with an even greater service and overall experience. If you are looking for a real, old fashioned, five star hotel; then is is the place to go.

Exquisite, fantastic, elegant. 45 minutes away from Geneva this Hotel, located in from of the lake, is a truly experience from its gastronomic offer, to the decoration of its rooms. A superb service and attention to details. It has it all. A place to never forget!

High quality experience. The hotel is located in a magical place, just a few steps from Lake Geneva. We could see the rooms that have a lot to hide (exposed beams). The food is exquisitely worthy of a five star with an artistic presentation. I would recommend it for romantic moments.

Great room but barely clean. No replacement of bath products or change of towels, lack of toilet paper and hostile staff.

Wonderful hotel, great location, very nice rooms, very nice and attentive staff, excellent restaurant, we were not the last time here.

Love the place n the food. Their nice terrace with an open view on the lake make the experience very enjoyable. I highly recommend for a drink or even dinner. The breakfast was average but dinner was very delicious.

Friendly staff, rooms have an ancient elegance, but they have all the comforts, including a Nespresso machine, which in my book is a plus. Try to get the lake view, breath and relax looking at the scenery. Restaurant is also quite good, although at Swiss prices, which can hurt your feelings.

Wonderful hotel. Marvelous staff. The view is amazing. 30 seconds to the shore to do some exercise.

It was a wonderful experience staying here… located very close to the lakefront… we had a great view from our room… and service was excellent as well!

Beatiful rooms with great views of the lake. Service is great and staff is very courteous and friendly. They are always ready to help. The experience is good starting from the reception desk. Food is good too. The overall interior ambiance is cosy. The lift seemed very slightly rickety but it was negligable. The hotel is close to some of the historic places. Lakeshore drive and walk, both are really refreshing.

Feels like the whole hotel is there to serve you at any moment. So much individual attention, it's beyond your expectations.

Coffee break with a view of the lake. Lawn for children. The service is OK but misses the little more than you expect in a 5 * in any case for a simple coffee.

This legendary hotel is a gem. Every room creates its unique atmosphere with its unusual wallpapers.
The welcome is warm and intimate spa. The Dr. Burgener, expert in advanced anti-aging treatments, Mark settled early 2016.
The sun terrace is ideal to admire the Lake and the mountains!

Just a wonderful place to pop in to. Didn't stay here but had a late afternoon tea after a visit around the lake to Montreux. Service was perfect.

Very good place to have a snack and relax. I've heated they have the best Burger in Town, and sure they did! And this comes from a foodie. They didn't get the 5th star because the service was very slow.

A verry good 5 star hotel BUT! the lack of response of the roomservice and the not so cooperative staff makes me think that one of the stars is just clinging on.

This hotel excels on its location, however the staff feel it's their personal lakeside home and view 'customers' as a mere inconvenience. This may sound a bit over the top, but my experience was just this. Wanting to treat my girlfriend to a special lunch by the lake I asked if I could have a table outside. My mistake was to turn up at 1.45pm for lunch without a reservation and told 'NON' and physically pushed out of the restaurant by the waitress's arms as if we were an errant pigeon! Not what you expect. If you are thinking about lunch here — don't! Get the train to Lausanne to any hotel by the lake where they respect customers, or better still go to McDonalds! At least they give you a smile and know what 'customer'; service is.

I've never slept so well. The breakfast room facing the lake and the Alps is simply out of this world. Thoroughly recommend this very elegant hotel.

The hotel has been beautifully renovated and the rooms are very tastefully decorated. Great, very great and comfortable bed. Pech, who has booked a junior suite, which are located directly next to the busy main street and front seen from the balcony, enjoy the views of the public parking lot. The service leaves to be desired: after 22 h (after a theatrical performance for example) there is no more food except small snacks at the bar (rather unsatisfactory). Breakfast is overpaid for what it can offer, and check-out is absolutely unpleasant: man must sit down and listen to a personal conversation about the hotel stay or go discuss with, until finally the Bill is printed and you can. The room prices are different: If you get negotiated to Internet is the rate which 20% cheaper than the official price. An unpleasant statement! Parking there are insufficient and cost extra. No space available or complicated get through with large cars.
