A place for a real outdoor getaway.

Always a very pleasant and reliably excellent stay since we began coming in 2003. i think we have stayed with you well over a dozen times but we were with you more frequently from 2003-2008 when we lived in Basel. Now we are back on the Northern California Coast so the distance makes frequent stays less convenient, but we will be back!

Very friendly, clean & attentive. Breakfast room is great!

I have been a guest in the hotel for several years, mostly in winter. The quality is highly written culinary, friendliness, leisure activities. I can only recommend this hotel to get some rest from everyday stress.

Service very good that house, the rooms, even if they are relatively small — the bigger ones are a dream, best kitchen… The whole house is special!

We enjoyed our stay very much. In the Edelweiss we were very well kept, were welcomed after previous stays familial, the staff was very friendly and zuvorkommmend, the food fine, special and varied. We also enjoyed the framework programme, especially the musical performances. The atmosphere in the hotel was very pleasant, open and hospitable. We felt completely comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable. It's coming every time like a home. The Edelweiss has an excellent cuisine-even special wishes are met if possible! Also a very good wine list. The rooms are nice and cosy furnished and very clean. For me there is only Edelweiss! Thank you so much for contributing to my beautiful stays!

The hotel was very nice, clean, comfortable rooms, very nice activity near the hotel. The staff smiling all the time I like the way how they welcome you and help you even if they cannot speek English very well but they try their best to help, they book a horse to take me and my family to the top of the mountain in afoulling snow weather. I really enjoyed my time in Sils Maria. Thanks edelweiss for making my stay fantastic.

Super zuvorkommendes Hotel & Personal, liebevoll, sauber, freundlich. Wir waren für eine Hochzeit dort, perfekt dafür geeignet :).

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Hotel Edelweiss sehr genossen und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in idyllischen Sils-Maria. Die Bushaltestelle liegt unmittelbar neben dem Hotel und ist nur max. 50 Meter entfernt. Das Hotelgebäude besteht aus einem Haupthaus und einem Nebengebäude, das jedoch durch einen Übergang verbunden ist. Unser Economy-Zimmer lag im Nebenhaus, war sehr gut ausgestattet und verfügte über alle Annehmlichkeiten. Bademäntel, Badeschuhe, Minibar, TV, Zimmersafe, Haarfön, Duschgel und Bodylotion standen kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Das Doppelzimmer verfügte über zwei getrennte Betten, die aber als Doppelbett zusammengestellt waren. Der Wellnessbereich war großzügig und neu renoviert. Einziger Mangel: es gibt keinen direkten Ausgang ins Freie, was ich persönlich nach einem Saunagang sehr bevorzuge. Die Küche war vorzüglich. Das Frühstücksbuffet sowie das 5-gängige Abendmenue ließ keine Wünsche offen. Äußerst authentisch ist der stilvolle Jugendstilsaal, in welchem die Mahlzeiten eingenommen werden. Man fühlt sich in eine andere Zeit zurückversetzt. Sehr angenehm empfanden wir die Klaviermusik in der Lobby am Abend. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel sehr empfehlen und werden sicherlich nochmals dort übernachten.
