Very good hotel. We (two adults and two children) were riding bikes. Lockable space for bikes. Very friendly receiving train staff. Simple but well-groomed, large, and quiet family room. Very good breakfast.

The probably engstirnigste, unfriendliest and most arrogant hotel in Europe.
I have reserved a room for two nights (2 persons + infant). When we entered the hotel, we were thrown out very rudely right away — without greeting. The reason for this was my bike, which I had for a race on the next day. The value of the bicycle is in the five-digit range. On the day it was dry, the bike was cleaned in the morning by a mechanic steam and therefore spotlessly clean. I have been travelling with my bike in over 20 countries and have stayed in well over 100 hotels. Sometimes there are talks about the bike, but actually you always find a solution very quickly (for example in Macedonia I have deposited the credit card as collateral if something should have been polluted — which of course was not the case. In France I was once asked to put a towel under the bike, no problem either. ). But in the hotel Adler hospitality is lived differently. The good lady from the hotel did not even need to leave her reception Kabäuschen and made with the hand movement very clear that we have to leave the hotel right away. Explaining did not bring anything. Will to the consensus: out of place. The narrow-mindedness and arrogance culminated in the fact that the page Adler "likes to renounce the 400 CHF for the nights, instead of finding a solution".

My partner runs races and therefore has very expensive wheels, which are very well maintained. But as Swiss from Switzerland, throw out a hotel. Under all dignity.
However, the village is manageable and so other people are happy about our money.

Nice, centrally located Hotel in the midst of Stein am Rhein. Not the most modern comforts, neat, large and clean rooms. The menu can be seen and the dishes are excellent!

Very quiet family is, very good hotel.
