As always little for single small room, broken tiles, deceased boxwood on the balcony.
Breakfast atmosphere as in the canteen, as friendly and welcoming as the reception staff. No 3 * Hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Situated on top of a shopping centre. Close to Lake Lucerne. Close to all the shops.

Luzern in a Heat Wave but staff at the ambassador were friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I’d have like a firmer bed and pillow though.

Nice, basic, clean room in a fantastic location. Great value. Only negative is no AC which probably wouldn't matter most of the time but we happen to visit during a heat wave. We had to sleep with windows open and street noise was a bit bothersome at night while trying to sleep.

Nice clean, spacious rooms, good breakfast. Excellent location. But Pricey.

An excelent choice. Close to the city and train station. Hotel staff is kind and ready to assist you. Very good breakfast (and gluten free bread if needed). Great value for your money! Thanks again.

This is a nice hotel and conveniently located. Downtown Luzern is such a small area that I don't think anything was more than a 15 minute walk from the room. A bus pass is included if it is raining. There is also an umbrella provided in the room. It sounds like it rains a lot there.

Great place! The staff was of great help, very friendly and profesional! The place was very clean and comfy. I really enjoyed my stay here. Just a heads up, if you travel by car you better tell them to help with where you need to put it away. They were very good with the indications and everything went smoothly! Keep it up! :D.

Location was great and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived! The receptionist was very helpful providing bus passes and information. We were given adapters to use which was great as ours didn't fit! It's all about the little things that make you enjoy your stay and want to revisit! Thank you for having us :)

At the heart of the town, 5m walk to the harbour, the hotel is well located, has comfortable and clean rooms, offering a nice breakfast.

We booked the hotel at the end of April 2017 and was also immediately charged. We visited the EXPLO17 from 29.12.2017 to 01.01.2018. New You also get the city card, which allows you free all over the city with bus & Bahr drive around insulting. The hotel is located right next to the Lion Square. In three minutes, lines 1, 19, 22, 23 go to Lucerne Station. From there it is with the S4 or S5 in 2 min. Like a subway to the fair Lucerne Allmend. You have every 15 minutes. A train. That's really great. The record from the Allmen to the hotel was 10 min. About 6, 000 guests took part in the Congress. The events were from 09.00h to 23.00h or on New Year's Eve until almost 04.00h. We enjoyed it over lunch and for being able to retire to the hotel between the times of the meal. This was a place of calm compared to the conference.
The rooms of the hotel are on floors 2 to 6. Reception on floor 1. The rooms are functional, clean and equipped with everything you could expect in a * * * house. Our room had bathtub, hair dryer, flat TV, table with two sofa chairs, mini bar, safe, umbrella etc.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is good and very varied for a * * * house. I can get everything in self-service. On the 30th 12th, almost everything was cleared. That has to do with the bus tourists visiting. They all go to dinner at the same time.

Great stay. Rooms are clean. A little small but sufficient for small families. The staff are excellent and very helpful. They accomodated all our requests and made our stay even more enjpyable. Over all a very good hotel with an even better staff.

I enjoyed staying in the hotel. Had a great time. The staff was very nice and helpful. They even provided us with sandwiches as we were leaving early that day for airport. I will come again soon.

I wanted to to put a word of appreciation for the impeccable service offered by this hotel for my two night stay. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful always go out of the way to help he customers. Rooms are very good, bathrooms are very neat and tidy. I wanted to mention a front desk staff who was at the time of check in, unfortunately I don't recollect her name. She is the absolute dictionary meaning of customer service. I wanted to travel from Luzon to St. Mortiz she has got me a print out of all the connecting trains with platform number. I reached St. Mortiz without any effort even after changing three trains. Good job and keep the good job always.

The location is great, with buses directly from the station to the hotel. The staffs are excellent. They provide useful travel tips and smiles. The room is great, large, clean and cozy. The breakfast is nice and coffee and tea are available all day, which is very convenient. The only disadvantage is the Wi-Fi signal is not stable, I have to get out of the room to use it.

Amazing experience with Hotel of peace!

We found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable except for the lack of cooling! Our room is very hot day and night. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant and it's a great location just too hot. It's only May, hate to be here in summer! No Wi-Fi in our room.

Fantastic location. Refreshing Front office attitude. Filling and varied breakfast. We are overawed with the smiling and comfortable approach of Front office. Great feeling shared.

The staff at reception is very rude. They don't refill the tea coffee machine. Breakfast menue is too less, the worst I have ever seen in any European hotel, specially for the price they charge. And if u reach dor bfast at 8.30 am, the buffet food is over and they dont refill (though the time is till 10 am dor bfast) Room size is good… but the reception lady don't give any information on check in. Stay if u dont have any other option. Oh yes, there is no tea make in room & the common tea machine in lobby is always out of refills.

Everything was good, clean room, very helpful receptionists, delicious food for breakfast and in Lapin restaurant. The only thing that could be better was the view from my room window, but anyway being in Lucerne is not for staying in the hotel room but it could be superb seeing the snow falling all over Lucerne in the morning from you room.

Positive: great location, good breakfast, excellent coffee. Negative: 150 francs for 4 days' parking, very hot rooms, unreliable network, broken sofa bed. If there was a pool, I never saw it.

Many thanks to the helpful staff at the Ambassador. We made a last minute decision to visit Lucerne for a day and they worked with us to get arrangements made. We checked in after midnight, but they were accomodating. The room was very spacious and the hotel well-located within easy walking distance of Lake Lucerne. Breakfast, which was included, was very good. Best cup of coffee on the trip! Good shopping nearby.
