Good Hotel, ideal to visit Lucerne. In Both Switzerland and Germany, most hotels offer free bus to the centre. The bus stop is 100 mts and in 20 minutes you will reach the center and the lake.

Everything perfect, reception, menu, flexibility in choosing the aisles, the incredible food (beguiling the mouth), wine, drinks, staff, atmosphere, the modesty of the boss.

Very fine eating. Good service.

Clean, modern, no nonsense business hotel. Decent restaurant on ground floor, specialized in pizza and Gordon Blue Expensive wine list.

We're American travelers and stayed in the "Junior Suite" room in September 2017. Very large and well appointed room. Balcony/terrace was the largest we have seen. Close to public transportation. Worth the money.

Considering the price, its definitely a value for money. The receptionist was very swift with the check in and check out. Breakfast buffet was slightly limited on menu as compared to many European hotels. Our room was in the attic and had the attic slant just above our bed. Cleanliness wise the hotel was spic and span, really good job there! Wouldn't mind staying again considering the accessibility via bus in a minute's walking and the price.

The room was moderately sized but clean and organized. Concierge service was friendly and helpful in navigating the city.

Okay hotel. Much better for business stay than leisure. Also the location is not among the best either. Would still give it to the management that the room and washroom were very clean. As an overall experience, Lucrene isn't a tourist spot. If you are going to Switzerland for the purpose of sightseeing, don't waste your time in Lucrene.

I like the location of the hotel (close to everything but not in the city centre) staff very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast and free parking included in the price. The internet works very well and the walk in shower is great especially because of the underfloor heating. I really enjoyed my staying there.

Nice Hotel where you feel immediately at ease. Something small and crowdy. But price/performance is top. Incl. A great Breakfast buffet.

Solid Business Hotel. Parking and Wi-Fi free of charge. Breakfast at the weekend only until 10:00h, although it was noted in my documentation until 11:00h. The staff there was, however, apparently more important right than to apologize for an error in the customer… The house and room is very clean and modern. When the window is closed it is very quiet in the room.

Rooms clean and functional, maybe just too poorly lit. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good but a little varied.

Excellent hotel just outside the main city. The owner and staff are very friendly. 17 minute bus ride to the main city. Budget friendly.

Wer aus geschäftlichen Gründen mal in Emmenbrücke nächtigt, ist im Lux bestens aufgehoben. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut, das Personal sehr engagiert. Die Regendusche ist aussergewöhnlich in dieser Hotelkategorie.

Very well appointed inexpensive hotel about 20 minutes by bus from central Lucerne. Opened in Jan 2013, the air-conditioned rooms and fittings are very well done with close attention to detail. Staff were very helpful. It's a little lacking in character but if you want a neat modern hotel which guarantees a comfortable stay Hotel Lux is fine. Only quibble was the breakfast. No soft fruit, no dried fruit, no muesli. Transport into town is easy via the very convenient and efficient Lucerne city bus service which has a stop a couple of minutes from the hotel and runs 5 or 6 times an hour until late.
