We have been staying in Novotel for 6 years now and have stayed at multiple locations across Europe so we know what to expect. Service was good and staff was helpful and friendly. We arrived earlier than check in time and room was not ready but they got it prepared in half an hour and allowed early check in. It was a family suite on 5th floor. I booked through booking. Com and I was watching the room rate online. The price came down closer to our travel date and we got a good deal with breakfast included. All facilities are very good though carpets looked bit dated. It’s very conveniently located to tram station which takes you to main train station in 10 minutes and the tram service is very frequent. We stayed for a night only as had to do onward journey to other places. I would highly recommend to stay in Novotel Zürich City West.

Hotel was conveniently located near the tram, some great restaurants, and two supermarkets (Migros and Coop located in the Pulse 5 building). Situated a block away is a nice park for families.

Room cleanliness was extremely poor, and even after a second specific clean it was terrible.

Perfect for stay I travelled throughout Europe and stayed with NOVOTEL I must say they have excellent customers service the room were extra ordinary comfortable smells great awsome ambience I signed up with them for membership now where ever I go my 1st choice will be novotel for sure without any doubt.

A very good hotel, easily approachable from the Zurich. And recommended for organizing official meetings or conventions.

Very nice hotel vale for money centrally located tram station just outside good restaurants outside and out the hotel you can even rent a cycle for 1 chf.

Decent Zürich hotel, walking distance to old town (long walk). Lots of shops and cafes and bars nearby. Adjacent to a large open concrete plaza with biking commuters in the weekdays. Lots of business travelers here. Everything is expensive (food, drinks, parking). The room was an ok price though. Especially considering the city you are in. The best part of this hotel was probably the free “handy” they give you. It’s a little cell phone with great connection, and tourist tips.

A modern hotel. Away from the center but there is a tram that takes you to the center. The hotel has a parking sports hall and swimming pool. In the room I ordered the suite there is a coffee machine and a refrigerator.

We spent the night here. Everything was average. The view from the rooms weren't impressive. The location of the hotel wasn't good in my opinion but it was near a station so it might be convenient for some. The breakfast was ok. In general, it wasn't the best but for an overnight stay it was good.

Well purely the only minus is the parking toll at the hotel!

There is public transport within walking distance. There is a tram’s Technopark station. It might be a bit confusing for us to visit by car. Correspondence of the front desk of the hotel was good, the parking lot passed right in front of the hotel entrance and there were two parking ticket issuing machines, the second was the ticket issuing machine of the hotel. Towels aren’t prepared for children. I think that breakfast is kind and satisfactory. It was very uncomfortable to have ants in the toilet of a restaurant that just took breakfast. Because it’s a case dealing with food, I want the hotel to manage properly.

In my experience traveling this place is probably along the lines of a poorly run Holiday Inn Express. The carpet in the rooms are filthy, the air conditioning is very poor and they do not provide wash clothes at all. It was a place to sleep, but not sleep well. Staff is very friendly, polite and helpful.

Staff are nice, food is good, service is good. Location is good. All in all its a good hotel for business trips.

What is expected of a Novotel.

It is a very good hotel with a comfortable convention center and a nice garden. This in front of the Technopark and it is a very quiet area. As a point against it has to not be very close to the center of the city. It is a very good hotel with a comfortable conference room and a nice garden. It is in front of Technopark in a quiet area. As a drawback, it is not very close to the city Centre.

Well maintained and food is good. Little Diversified. From the location in the industrial quarter of Zurich. More of a business hotel.

One of the finest places I have been. The Handy phone service is the best. Tourists can never be as safe.

Everything was put in order as soon as possible. New room, top service, mega friendly and dozens of times apologized. Even a handwritten letter in the new room, with apology and delicious, super-baked sweet cakes — compote — delicacies. Have really done everything well again and also honestly — humanly apologized. Here, man is still at heart. Are very often in Switzerland and will definitely stay here, Tip top!
Merci for the beautiful room with connecting door to our daughter, for the balloons and the chocolate. She was really happy. And with the bathtub her dream was actually. ;-)

As you would expect from a Novotel. Clean and modern. Food was available in the bar in the evening as the restaurant was closed. Showers in the room rather than baths.

Novotel Zurich took good care of our LAN party and was very flexible with the rooms.

Awesome. Big spacious neat clean rooms. Awesome reception and pool. Nice kids on area… Awesome breakfast. If u r going to Zurich this is the best. Near two stations and a store just 2 minutes walk. Awesome. Loves it. Big sitting area …

Good deals for Upguard at the reception. Pool is small, cold and very noisy when only two children laugh in it…

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Novotel is a great hotel with super team stuff. Hotel close to the main tram line to city center. A coop supermarket with 5 minute walking… great breakfast… cleam and comfortable suite.

Breakfast has problems. They have not more desk. Everybody waiting for breakfast. The staff comes and takes you away from the table. They are relocating while they are having breakfast. We have 4 person — 2 child and we were sitting 5 man table. 3 person eated one person — one child stay on desk and staff changed table. This is problem for comfort. And now second day. They opened new breakfast room. Cancelled our one day breakfast payment. Thanks.

Nice hotel, decent breakfast. The suite rooms give you a free mobile to use for calls and data in the city, which is pretty cool.

Rooms are big and comfy, extra points for the Bluetooth speakers and running trail recommendations, but a big minus for business travelers that they can’t provide irons at the rooms. You need to go down to the common laundry room and use they big and dirty machines ⚰️

Really nice rooms, very helpful and extremely friendly staff, check-in was a breeze. All in all, we really enjoyed our time here, and would definitely come back again.

I was at the hotel on September 3 and 4, attending the Fifth International Conference on Advances in Civil, Structural and Mechanical Engineering — CSM 2017. Throughout the event, the coffees and food were good and sufficient. The hotel staff was very kind with all indications. The conference rooms were suitable for the event held there and the overall impression is quite good.

We spent one night with a group of Padua in transit to the Black Forest.

Stayed in room 510. Clean, functional beautiful furniture.
And Breakfast-a paradise Naslazhlenie, a great choice for all tastes, you can even indulge yourself theirs waffles of your own making:) For vegetarians, paradise is doubly, in October abundance: Fresh grapes, mango, orange, kiwi, grapefruit, melon, all cleaned, cut and appetizing filed! Pleasant aftertaste.

Very fast checking in and out. Great self service breakfast which can be taken out. Not crowded.

Just an average hotel. Location is cool as it's an up and coming area but it's quite dead at night. Halls smelled like urine (just be their cleaning product). Bathroom door doesn't lock.

Good in all respect. Staff is very good and cooperative. Rooms are good. Children loby is avail able with computers. Fitness and pool is available.

Underground parking was a breeze (though expensive). The room was quite nice. The bedding could be better… a bit lumpy and/or hard, especially on the foldout bed. The staff were absolutely superb. Breakfast was well above average — huge selection of hot and cold items and multiple premier coffee machines. Highly recommend.

Reasonably priced. Amazing service. The day we were heading out, train service to our next place was suspended. The hotel helped us figure out alternative routes. Breakfast has a large variety of choices. Extremely convenient, right next to train station.

Nothing to say at the room level other than that the carpet deserves to be changed. The restaurant at the Novotel is very average and not given. For hamburgers, go to the Ibis hotel just next door where 3 or 4 burgers are offered. The staff is multilingual is a very good level.

Good service and little crowded pool! On the other hand the kitchen is not terrible, and the breakfast disappointing for Switzerland. As much as eating at the ibis next door or at Angkor, there are also small fast restaurants in the Migros centre right across the way.

Excellent place for the stay, the room was good size with super king bed and sofa bed, hotel staff are very good, courteous and friendly. The only problem I had was with the parking, the Novotel parking in the street was full and I parked in front of the hotel and got fined by the police. Overall, the food menu is good, the pool is good, the gym is small but not bad for the holiday, very near to the main line train station with 10 mins walk.

Beautiful hotel. Clean. Lovely staff. Breakfast can be a little repetitious but they try, usually you can fund good stuff to eat. Tram and bus station stations around the corner. Walk 2 blocks and follow the river to the lake, nice workout but worth it. You will fall in love with Zurich.

Very spacious rooms with comfortable bed and additional sofa for more guests. Included Wi-Fi and great variety for breakfast.

I stay at this hotel 3 or 4 times a year, for stays of 1 to 3 nights on average.
The location is convenient, the tram to 2 minutes takes you to the city centre in 10 minutes.
The rooms are large and clean, the bedding is excellent. Wi — Fi is good. Each floor or find different facilities such as coffee and tea.
The staff is charming, very qualified and very helpful. They speak German, English, French.
The bar is very nice and offers a small restaurant of very high quality.

I had a Seminar in this Hotel and all I can say about the hotel room, but the food was great and a lady named Nadia has served us extremely forth coming. Thank you and 5 stars.

Very good place but poor food.

The view, the amenities and the service here are magical. The hotel is well connected to public transport allowing easy access to Zurich.

Location is a bit "out of town" but it's only 15 minutes by tram which is right outside. Everything else is standard Novotel, comfortable if not luxurious. The room only had Swiss type power sockets so our Euro adapter didn't work, but reception lent us a suitable adapter for free so can't complain. Wifi needs individual passwords which seems a pain but it always reconnected automatically so not a big deal. Tv in room has a slow multi-level menu that tries to push you towards the paid content, and although Novotel always prides itself on being family friendly there is only one kids channel.

Very nice hotel especially for business trip. Breakfast expensive. Wifi quality is correct. Tram is available near the hotel and you are at 15 minutes of the city center.

They shouldn't have the park outside of the hotel rooms. It has a nice buffet for breakfast and is conveniently located near a coop store and is around the corner from the Techno park station on the number 4 line.

Bed of the children with the springs in the back. Parking 29 francs/day too expensive. For the rest good. Convenient to the tram and you can go downtown on foot.

Excellent breakfast, easily accessible by tram from Central station, indoor and heated swimming pool.
